I don’t want the typical slow burns anymore. I don’t want hopelessly pining after each other but worrying the other one doesn’t like them back. I don’t want to hear anything about “will this ruin our friendship?” I don’t want misunderstandings leading to angst. I don’t want any of that. All I want is simply a fic where character A is fully aware that Character B is head over heals for them and they go around making obvious flirts with them to see when Character B will get the hint and character B is just fucking stupid. Like, Character A does that “what’s the perfect way to ask someone on a date” and B is like “show up to their house with flowers” and A goes to Bs house with flowers and B is like “no. You have to do that to the person you like, idiot.”

BUT I don’t want any of that disappointed bullshit. A doesn’t take this as “maybe they don’t like me after all 🥺” no! No. A finds this fucking hilarious. They get more and more obvious just to see when the hammer finally hits the nail in B’s brain that yes, all their flirting WAS serious. And when that happens B will have a total breakdown because like “holy shit omfg you were fr!? You were /srs?! I CALLED YOU AN IDIOT 😭😭😭” and A will laugh their brains out as B goes through every moment in their head realizing just how obvious it should’ve been to them.
