You guys just finished exam season and! He got a new game! Common!! Let my man rest!! ╭⋅Anyways, you didn’t care, sorry ken ken, disadvantages of having a manager gf unu ╭⋅So, tbh i would never take kenken as someone that has public sex? But i mean lets try to understand him ok? A full exam week, no gf, no kisses and the only opportunities you had to get together he got cockblocked! “Kenma~!” you called out, your voice echoing through the empty halls as you searched for your elusive boyfriend. Frustration bubbled inside you, and just as you were about to give up, a familiar mop of pudding-colored hair caught your eye through the window of an empty classroom. “UGH! THERE YOU ARE!!” you huffed, storming into the room, Kenma flinched at your sudden outburst, his eyes still glued to his handheld console. "You're still looking for me? So... practice isn't over yet? Great..." he muttered under his breath, clearly bothered by the situation.

"Honeyyyy~" you groaned dramatically as you wrapped your arms around him from behind, resting your chin on his shoulder. He didn't budge, his fingers tapping away at the buttons, “keEeeEn~” you whined, playfully trying to push him out of the chair.

"Come on! Kuroo is going to kill me if I don't bring you back!"

Still no reaction.

You leaned in closer, pressing your cheek against his. "Do you really want your beaaauuutiful girlfriend to fail at her manager duties, huh?"

Kenma finally sighed, his gaze never leaving the screen. "

"UGH! Kenmaaaa!" you pouted, slumping dramatically in front of him.

Dropping to your knees and hugging his legs you gave him your best puppy-dog eyes. "Please?"

His fingers faltered for a second.

"You're so annoying.." he muttered, but there was the faintest hint of a smirk tugging at his lips.

After what felt like hours (okay, maybe just ten minutes) of begging and pressing Kenma to go to practice, you finally hit your limit. Refusing to stand from your spot on the floor, you crossed your arms and gave him your best fake teary eyes, complete with a trembling pout.

“Fine then… let them fire me from my manager position,” you huffed dramatically. Kenma finally glanced down at you, his expression flat. “Y/N… this isn’t a job. They won’t fire you.”

But then — ngh! — his gaze lingered. The sight of you sitting on the floor, all pouty and vulnerable? That triggered something in his brain.

Neurons? Activated.

Kenma? Horny

Y/n? Annoyed

Crops? Watered.

A faint blush dusted his cheeks as he averted his gaze, but his voice softened. “But… maybe there’s something we can do… if you really want me to go back to practice.” Your eyes lit up. “YAS! I knew it!” You leapt from the floor, wrapping your arms around him in excitement. “Come on, tell me! I’ll do anything you want!”

Kenma blinked, momentarily stunned by your enthusiasm, before a tiny smirk tugged at the corners of his lips. “Well… you know how we haven’t been able to spend much time together lately?” You nodded eagerly, not missing the way his voice dipped into a quieter tone.

“And how every time we try to be alone… someone interrupts us?” he added, glancing at you briefly before looking away again, the blush deepening.

“Uh-huh,” you murmured, heart thumping in anticipation. Kenma cleared his throat. “Well… maybe we can do it now.”

Your eyes widened. “Wait… here?” “The school’s practically empty,” he murmured, setting his PSP down on the desk. “Only a few clubs and… maybe a janitor. But if we’re careful…”

He finally looked back at you, and the heat in his gaze sent shivers down your spine.

“You serious?” you whispered.

Kenma leaned in slightly, his voice low. “Only if you want to.”

So... in the end, you gave in—how could you possibly resist that pudding-colored mop of hair? And now, here you are, in this exact moment.

You're leaning over his desk, your hands pressing against the surface.

Honestly, you feel a little exposed. Your boyfriend's behind you, and you can feel his gaze, while all you can see is what's right in front of you. You feel his cold hand lift your skirt, the breeze of his breath hitting your core, making you shiver just a little..

"just look at this, huh kitten? i barely even told you what i wanted and you are this wet already?” he said as he pulled down at your underwear, “ so eager to please me huh?” He said leaning into you and giving your ear a few kitten licks.

"P-Please, Kenma," you whispered, a hint of shame in your voice. Doing this in school? It felt so forbidden, so sinful. But deep down, you couldn't deny it — you'd been waiting for this moment just as much as he had.

To be honest, Kenma had wanted to tease you a little longer, but even he couldn't hold back. After the past week of restraint, he was too pent up to keep it inside any longer.

"So whiny..." he murmured while placing open-mouthed kisses on your neck, while one of his hands ran down your shirt until he reached your breasts, the way he squeezed them was very rough, but it was the right one for that moment, his hand was massaging them and the other was busy unbuckling his belt.

"I'm sorry darling..." he whispered into your ear while holding his member with one hand and rubbing it against your entrance earning a soft moan from you "you know that normally I would go slowly but... I don't think there's enough time for that right now"

You nodded in agreement, eager to feel him inside you, you hadn't realized how much you needed this, how much you missed his hands, his kisses and his caresses...

Just when you were lost in your thoughts a sudden pressure at your entrance made you yelp, Kenma's hands gripped your waist firmly, fingers pressing into your skin as he pulled you closer. His breathing was uneven, his gaze heavy with desire as he leaned in.

"Ahh... Y/N..." His voice came out low and hoarse, roughened by the tension building between you. He pushed in deeper, his movements purposeful, each one making you gasp as your body adjusted to him. "You're so tight... nghh..." The way he muttered it, half a groan and half a breathless confession, made your stomach flutter.

A whimper escaped you, soft and broken, your lower lip trembling as you tried to speak through the haze. "K-Kenma... it's so big, I-"

Before you could finish, he picked up his pace, each movement making you lose more control over your voice. You couldn't stop the sounds slipping from your lips, and just as quickly, he silenced you with a kiss - rough, needy, possessive. "I like you better when you just moan for me," he mumbled against your lips, his voice low and commanding.

The words sent a shiver down your spine, making you melt into his touch.

You could feel the tension in your body rising fast, and by the way Kenma gripped you, he could feel it too. The way you clenched around him made him groan softly, his head dropping to your shoulder as he trailed kisses along your neck, leaving faint marks behind.

Normally, he would slow down - tease you, drag things out until you were begging for more. But this time, he couldn't hold back. His own release was close, and it showed in the way his thrusts grew more erratic, rocking the desk beneath you as he pushed deeper.

"Fuck... baby..." His voice was husky, strained, filled with urgency as he buried himself in you. "I'm really close..."

You couldn't hold back your own moans any longer. The intensity of his movements, the weight of his body against your back, the sound of his voice — it was all too much. You didn't care if anyone could hear, if anyone walked by. All that mattered was him.

Kenma's fingers tightened their grip on your hips, his forehead pressed to yours as he pushed you both toward the edge. His heart was racing, his breath ragged in your ear, and you could feel the tension winding tighter and tighter.

"Kenma... please." you whimpered, your voice trembling as you clung to him, your body shaking from the overwhelming sensation.

He groaned softly at the sound of his name falling from your lips, his movements never faltering. He could feel how close you were — he always knew your body better than you did.

And though his usual control would have him drawing things out, this time he couldn't stop. His release was so close, right there, and he didn't want to hold back.

Twenty minutes in, and he already had you falling apart twice. But still, he kept going, chasing that final high — for both of you.

Kenma's forehead rested against your back, his breath hot and uneven as you both tried to steady yourselves.

His fingers traced slow, soothing patterns under your skirt, a stark contrast to the urgency from moments before. There was a softness in his gaze now, something tender beneath the layers of intensity that still lingered in the air between you.

"Are you okay?" he murmured quietly, his voice softer, more familiar. The concern in his tone made your heart ache in the best way, and you nodded, lips curling into a faint smile.

"I'm okay," you whispered, though your voice still trembled slightly from the aftershocks, your body now fully resting in the desk in a weak attempt of catching your breath.

Kenma's lips twitched into a small smile at your answer. He wasn't always great with words, but his actions said enough. His hands lingered on your hips, steadying you before before turning you around, facing each other, his forehead brushing yours in a quiet moment of calm.

For a while, neither of you spoke. The silence was comfortable, filled only with the sound of your slowing breaths and the faint creak of the desk beneath you. His thumbs rubbed lazy circles over your skin, grounding both of you as you melted into each other. "I wasn't too rough, was I?" he asked after a moment, his voice quieter, almost hesitant. It wasn't like him to ask, but there was something different in the way he looked at you now — more vulnerable, more open.

You shook your head, cupping his face gently. "No... it was perfect," you said softly, and you meant it.

Kenma sighed in relief, his shoulders relaxing as he leaned into your touch.

His lips pressed a lingering kiss to your palm before he pulled you close again, wrapping his arms around you like he couldn't bear to let go just yet. "You make me feel things I never thought l'd want," he admitted quietly, his voice almost shy. "I've never... wanted someone like this before."

The honesty in his words made your chest tighten, and you couldn't help but smile as you pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"I'm not going anywhere," you whispered against his skin. "You don't have to be afraid of wanting me."

Kenma's arms tightened around you, his face buried in the crook of your neck. His heart was pounding against yours, steady and strong.

What you both thought would be a peaceful moment didn’t last nearly as long as you had hoped. For a brief second, you let yourselves forget that you were still on school grounds, thinking you could steal a quiet moment together. But reality quickly came crashing back in the form of a loud, obnoxious voice that both of you knew all too well.

"KENMAAAAAA... Y/N!" Kuroo’s voice echoed through the hallways, sharp and unmistakable as he called out for you two. It was impossible to ignore. You exchanged a glance, both of you groaning internally.

"Come on, Y/N, I trusted you!" Kuroo’s voice whined from further down the hall, his footsteps growing louder as he approached.

"Shit," Kenma muttered, clearly irritated. He quickly pulled away from you, his eyes darting around in panic. "We should hurry," he added, his tone serious now.

Both of you scrambled to adjust yourselves. Kenma straightened his uniform with a quick tug at his collar, while you did the same at your skirt. You couldn’t help but glance at Kenma, biting your lip in a mix of amusement and slight concern.

"Do I have sex hair?" you asked, half joking but also genuinely curious, Kenma paused for a split second, giving you a once-over before shrugging. "Hmm... maybe just a little," he said nonchalantly, brushing his fingers through your hair to tame it.

"Great," you muttered, pushing your hair back into place as the sound of Kuroo’s voice drew closer. You had to think fast before he found you both in the hallway, and judging by the way Kenma was glancing nervously in the direction of the noise, he was already calculating your next move.

You both braced yourselves for what would surely be an uncomfortable encounter, wondering if this "moment of peace" was truly ever meant to be.

I think that- oh sorry HI 👋 I hope you don't mind the ask haha I didn't feel like rambling in tags- I've also noticed the downtrend in dndads posting, and while it *could* be some mini migration of people to other fandoms, I'm not so sure that that's the case? Not that people aren't getting into new things (I myself have been, for that matter,) but... How to put it. I feel like the show itself, despite approaching the finale, has kind of been at a quiet point where there simply isn't too much to talk about rn? Like I think the noise will pick back up in the fandom when it picks back up in the show if that makes sense?? Also just a busy time of year for a lot of people I think tbh! And since the fandom is so small to begin with (as you know), it's more noticeable when a bunch of people are preoccupied!

That's what I'm feeling anyways! But yeah I've been thinking about it too, and I empathize with the whole "feeling sad when people leave fandoms" thing, so I felt inclined to share my two cents in case it's any consolation haha. Regarding what you said about whether or not the show is "bad"- yeah, I agree! There's some places it really shines and some places that just aren't its forte, but me personally as long as I'm having fun I'm staying put right here! 😤❤️

HELLO!!! and yeah you bring up some good points... like there really isnt too much going on in the story character/emotion wise that people can latch on to (in contrast to the more angst ass eps that seem to be a bigger hit among fandom types) PLUS with only one jan ep the pace at which dndads has been releasing is. a bit slow (ep 50 was basically just 49 part 2 too so...)

as for the parts the show is good at vs the parts it isnt. i think it also comes down to the individuals/groups judging it, and the differences in their expectations... like with s2 ep31 the cast was talking about how the ep sucked in the teen talk, but on tumblr the tag had trended with SO much art... there have also been times when i had really enjoyed an episode only to find not much talk about it. so its really different for different people i guess

"minji," "yeah," she replied, face illuminated with the brightness of the device's display, not lifting her head from whatever she was indulged in. "do you plan on going to the event?"

"what event?" she queries, eyes still glued onto the screen in peak concentration. You huff and stare at your friend and slam your hands on the table she slouched on, marking her yelp and sit up straight. "the event beomgyu's holding,"

And for the first time since you began your little conversation with her, feeling as though you were invading her personal session with her handy dandy little phone, she gazes at you with intention. "how cute, you think it's an event?"

You nod aloof of her inquisitive response and wind back taking your hands off the table, curiosity bubbling in you, "if not an event, what is it? he invited me during chemistry, i said id think about it,"

"he invited you— personally?!" "yeah," you address casually, not sure what minji was twisting a normal interaction into. "do you even know what that means, yn?"

"of course not! not if you're going to beat around the bush and keep me in the dark!" you burst, inquisitively jumping the gun and getting riled up to suit into the truth that got stuck in her throat.

"geez, sorry man," she pauses, blinking back and continuing, "for starters, it's a party and most importantly, he only sends messages as invites," 

"but he invited me today during chemistry…" "need i remind you who exactly choi beomgyu is,"

You deny and piece the parts together, "so the dudes interested," "mhm and this is a sign for your lonely ass to get out there and have fun, instead of solitary,"

You plop down in the empty chair beside her, "but i got my sights set on someone," you mumble loud enough for minji to hear you and she does, clinging onto you with a jolt. Your hand now in a tight grasp she begins to bombard you with questions yet you ignore them and grin mischievously.

"who is he?!"

"i've some business to tend to, bye minjiii" you drawl and hop off your seat and walk towards the door, leaving somewhat satisfied with minji's enthusiasm and her dying to know expression painted all over her face.

After your narrow escape from minji, you return to the room for an extended practice of a small event you and your groupmates plus niki and his friends were collaborating in. It was in your best interests to avoid and dodge every question minji threw at you.

“are you really going to go?” minji shoots, with furrowed eyebrows and the look of pure curiosity, and that was right where you wanted her. Niki perked up and began listening in attentively while sunoo gave a rundown of what happened to his friend, seungkwan the previous day.

You look up from your phone, sparing a glance to niki who remained splayed across the floor, panting from the extensive practice and reworking of the choreography. “mhm,” you hum, continue to gaze at your phone, side-eyeing niki who stilled nonetheless to your conversation.

The others were left in the dark that you and niki had made up, since you urged the boy to silence. You ignored his every attempt to talk to you during the practice, well, solely for now. You had an elaborate idea that was extensive for no concrete reason.

You grin knowingly, having told niki to keep your little interaction a secret from the others for a while. “but why?” “it’ll be just for a while, don’t worry about it” you said, scooting closer and leaning on the wall, glancing out the dimming sky from the window. He sighed and took your hand in his, intertwining them, causing you to grin in content and lay your head on his shoulder with a small laugh.

Unknown to you two was the sighting of your particular warm moment to hanni’s two orbs, who gasped upon recognising both. Albeit, she hadn’t confirmed her suspicion nor spilled any information, ushering herself past the door after taking the sighting.

Hanni contemplated asking minji about it, avoiding causing any conflict, but her curiosity got to her, jogging up to her after the practice dispersed. You wandered off somewhere and minji walked forward mindlessly. “minji!” “hm? “have you noticed anything about yn lately?”

“no, why do you ask…” minji answered with little to no thought, whipping to the side to look at her younger friend.

“well, i think i saw what seemed to be yn and niki holding hands,”

Minji raised an eyebrow and urged her to continue, “and yn was resting her head on his shoulder…”

“i don't see what’s particularly wrong in that,” “they looked so,”

“in love?” minji completed with furrowed brows, “yet they were distant from each other today? what are these trying to pull off,”

You head home and draw out your closet, standing with a question mark drawn over your face, reaching for your phone and dialing up hyein who had an outstanding sense of fashion, seeking for her expertise. After dismissing and deducing what'd look best on you, hyein grins and curls a brow through the virtual barrier, "so, who is he?"

Ah, you could envision the bewildered glances and gazes already.

The sound of your sandals clacking to the concrete wasn't as pleasant but it was to avoid being sighted with the sought after, mystery boy, an ominous inconvenience of yours. You see him in the far distance, his pearly white dress shirt tucked in some black slacks with his hair resting effortlessly above his forehead. 

He held his head hung low, focusing on the screen as he tapped away responding to a text, unaware of your arrival. You creep up to him and jump, startling him to chatters as he shudders and catches you dressed up in your wear, glancing from top to bottom, clicking his tongue in satisfaction, "i like it," he gimmicks in a hilarious tone, making you slap the side of his arm.

"genuinely," you pan, making an unserious expression.

"no, seriously, i like it," he completes in a funny tone, making you erupt into laughter and lean on the bench beside him.

The laughter died and his phone was left long unattended, the display blackening as he glued his orbs to you, giving you that look you'd often read in fiction. The adored present and the soft smile in his front left you flustered, whipping to the trees around and covering your mouth with your hand for a brief second to compose yourself. Especially when he looked like that.

He chuckles knowingly and tugs on your  and clasps it in his, bringing a grin to light up your face. "many seem to be curious as to your identity, they keep asking me, 'who is he?' "

"well, how about we go kill the cat,"

"absolutely not. we do not tolerate any types of violence to those adorable fur balls," you blabber, concerned.

"you seem more concerned for a cat than me—"

"nothing new, you concern me on a daily basis. after all, you are a major inconvenience, you know,"

Maybe making niki enter a few minutes after was a bit too extensive but you wanted the build up to be dramatic. You joined minji and held a casual conversion, looking everywhere but the entrance as you saw a glimpse of him walking in. 

Coincidentally, beomgyu approached you and offered you a non-alcoholic drink and began conversing.

The side glare from niki was hard to miss as he eyes beomgyu all the way across the room, his jaw clenching as sunoo spoke, his chatter going inaudible to the boy. As much as you would love to extinguish his hardened expression, you had keen curiosity to build. "would like to dance?" beomgyu queried, "i might not be able to keep up with you impeccable talent but it's worth a try," 

You accepted, thinking it was a normal interaction. What you did not expect is for beomgyu to whip out his hidden stash of moves and own the very floor with the overhead booming music. You grinned at the newfound silliness and followed along, not necessarily anxious.

Niki stalked to the sound system, approaching chan, and whispering something into his ear as he eagerly nodded with excitement. The booming subdued and chan announced, "this is a request by riki, everyone's dream hype boy,"

Beomgyu halted and ushered you towards niki who stood not far from you, while others cleared the way. "what–"

"go!" the gummy smiled boy shouted, encouraging you and helping you to niki as the familiar beats of "all i wanna do" commenced.

You turned to niki with a question all while he carried out the moves, musing you to follow along as the onlookers cheered, some recording and masses shouting. You seemed to be enjoying yourself as you found the previous awkwardness in certain moves were glided through with ease, ooo's pouring through everytime the boy got close.

Completing the sequence and causing the crowd that formed to scream vicariously, you gripped onto nikis shoulders and hung your head, panting. Niki ruffled your hair, "we're not done yet," he commented in a tone you knew he'd accompany with a cute smile while hype boy continued with its melody.

Riding off the energy from the audience and the rhythm you and niki practically had everyone in awe as they clapped and thronged through to see the performance you two put on. The mental countdown to the chorus prepared you, skipping to right once again, feeling all too familiar with the setting, swaying and finishing each section neatly with the beaming boy beside you.

The music came to close, the people roared and you two plastered wide grins, "alright, niki has something to ask yn, let's quiet down," Many exclaimed with chants of "ask her out!" while others anticipated the moment. "even though this would be the second time i ask, would you like to go out with me, yn?"

Minji in the near distance threw her hands up in the air, resembling a meerkat with a "I KNEW IT!" Everyone shared a laugh and you rushed your answer, "yes," you paused, anticipating everyone's shock, waiting for it to thin out. Niki gasped, feign a hand to his chest being the playful boy he was, "so you're saying," he halted with wide eyes, "that i get to be your silly boy," he finished with an even louder gasp.

"yes, my silly boy from a silly dare,"

And with your response, he pulled you by the waist and pressed a sweet, warm kiss to your forehead, another round of fan's losing it. You circled your arms around him and rested your head on his chest that rose and fell lightly, leaning into your touch.

This wasn't so bad, you'd do it all over again, a 10/10 recommendation if you were asked.

Do you have any thoughts about slime-like monsters? I personally find monsters with… unstable??? body structure quite interesting cuz of their potential lol. i actually kinda imagine him opening his mouth like a snake would since he's no longer a human (w a pic below). but in the beginning, when he's still merging with the snake god, he'd probably start tearing his, ah, meals apart, yeah. i actually don't think his transformation was actually completed by the time he started his initial rampage + he wouldn't have any arm when he first started out too.

im actually kinda stumped on how to continue this one mainly because of the breeding kink being the primary focus and the reader initially being gn. i feel iffy doing this to my fellow gn readers as well, as i don't wish to exclude them and i don't think im that good of a writer to pull off a gn smut.

i could just do two versions tbh because its a little different between if the reader is afab and if they're amab.

if afab, theyre actually kinda in for some bad time because there's so many males around, possibly around 30 to even 50, and there's a lot of dp to go around because they're sharing them.

if amab, there's not many females around at all, maybe around 4 young adult ones (with the rest being old ladies), though that's not to say the males wouldn't touch them because they def would though lol but i kinda imagined that being amab they wouldn't be in too high of demand and would be given breaks. plus, they don't have to worry about getting pregnant.

there are a lot homestly just scroll thru my ethubs tag but i'll say my fav thing that first comes to mind. it's that they seem in a lot of ways like opposites but the closer you inspect them the more you see that.. they actually have way more similarities between eahc toher than differences??? they just work so well together. it's like two pieces of a puzzle met and fit together perfectly

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm idk i'll have to think abt it. im sure there;s smth but i tend to follow ppl i agree with and homestly compared to my other ships. i think the ethubs fandom understands those guys very well

ok im back i thought abt it and i think most of my gripes with any iteration of ethubs come down to mischaracterizing them individually. so like showing bdubs as this loud and boastful guy and completely missing that his self-esteem was nonexistent and is still kinda low, or commiting too much to one facet of etho (be it his trickery or his shyness) while disregarding his other traits. im guilty of this too cuz THEY ARE VERY DIFFICULT CHARACTERS TO WRITE and the fact that they have years of history to reference means everybody's ethubs is going to be a little different based on how much of that they've seen and what they remembered the most or chose to focus on. so even if i don't agree with a take on them (which has happened before) it's completely fine cuz like. there's A LOOOT of space to have differing opinions about them.

Hii it's the anon who sent the ask Abt looking other places for fanfic so I found this longfic called Ocean Mist on Wattpad and there's specifically a chapter called "Ticklish", Yuu finds out Azul is ticklish in that one and it's sooo cute(tbh I just loved the whole fic so much flustered Azul <3)

Additionally, on AO3, you may or may not have found these already because they're not tagged but they're tkl fics

Tickle Attack (You notice the octatrio isn't feeling well, cheer-up tickles ensue)

Tsuisorando Shotsu (I'm not sure if I spelled the name right, but there are quite a few tkl fic chapters in there, I think it's best to just select "read entire work" and command-f "tickl" bc that's what I did to avoid anything potentially explicit) But just in case you don't want to come across anything like that, there's the chapter 'Our Lovable Octopus' which might have had one vague explicit implication but I don't think there was anything major and the tickling was wholly sfw

A Fine Line Between - I just liked this fic in general the M isn't for any sexual content, and there's a tkl scene (if you wanna skip to just that part, I'd recommend just clicking read entire work and command-f 'tickl')

A time writing was really hard: does every time count? Let's see when I was trying to connect the dots but they didn't connect. Lowkey the idea was abandoned but I started writing a riddick/bw crossover AND au (with depthcharge and rampage). I got pretty far in writing and planning where I was gonna go but it just didn't work out grrrrrr!! 

A scene I wrote that surprised me: uhh N/A? 

Favorite excerpt: its not done yetttttt, but i was playing around with a boondocks tfp crossover. And Riley started doing a stupid ass monologue about how these robot niggas gay. Work I'm most proud of: Electrical Hazard for being both insane and brave enough to post it. Also my first smut fic, anyone?

Work I'm least proud of: A Crack in a Kaleidoscope of War I would have wanted more time to iron out and work around some of its awkward writing, but I was pressed for time. I now refuse to look at it most of the time.

Favorite review: This one commenter has been diligently commenting on every new chapter of a fic I've been updating sparsely, and they are the sole reason I'm continuing this fic in the first place. If you think you're that person, thank you.

A time writing was really hard: Writing Crack in War Kaleidoscope was really hard as I had a time limit. I'm god's slowest writer, so I really had to work under pressure there.

A scene I wrote that surprised me: The entirety of Electrical Hazard. Every day I push the limits of what insanely stupid premises I will write and get away with.

Favorite excerpt: I like a lot of the start of Electrical Hazard which I will not share because It Is Smut

How did I grow as a writer: Lots of ways! I worked under pressure, wrote characters I was unfamiliar with, betad for someone, collaborated with someone else, and expanded a fic into my longest-running one.

Who was my greatest positive influence: There's an irl friend that's been making me excited to write more. And of course, that one commenter keeping my will to work on a fic alive.

Anything Irl that showed up in my work: Not this year but last year a fic I wrote was hinged on a scene similar to something I experienced in a college cafeteria.

Do you have any pet peeves with the fandom itself?

Of course! Who doesn't lmao.

I wish a lot of the fandom would stop calling danganronpa as a whole a terrible game. It is a good series with bad aspects to it! But we like it for a reason! Why write the entire game off as bad writing when clearly something brought you into the fandom. After all the entire game goes off of writing, if you found ANY sort of interest in danganronpa its because of the writing. I feel like calling something you love terrible all the time isn't good for you. You can be critical without hating something you like

I really dislike how fans correct others on the whole "v1" "v2" thing. Its fine to correct fans but i see people go "the V is VERY important to v3!" What are you DOING NOO. Youre calling attention to the plot twist!! The whole point of the v3 plottwist is that the v was very inconspicuous so you have this big moment of realization later on! What i say to explain why the other games are not "v1" ir "v2" is "dr3 is an anime that came out before the third game, so they had to call it version 3 to differenciate" that doesnt call any attention to the v at all and makes sense.

I dislike how the fandom has seemed to fall into the trap many other fandoms do. Which is "if you like this ship/character/headcanon then you're a bad person". Mostly because it tends to be very hypocritical. For example if you say someone cannot like Komaeda because he is a bad person, you're ignoring the fact that EVERY character in danganronpa is at some point a bad person. There are almost no characters that haven't done at least something messed up. Of course its ok to be umcomfortable by a ship, but I don't think its ok to be upset at those who ship it. Esp when you can block the tags

I dislike how the fandom is at each others throats over Fujisaki to the point where people are afraid of gendering them. This is a ten year old discourse...I feel as though we can be more rational in how we respond to it!

This one is super insignificant and means nothing but it kind of annoys me when people call canonically lgbt characters "coded". For example Komaeda is not gay coded, he shows canon explicit and undeniable interest in Hinata. Its ok to say "just because he is interested in guys doesnt mean he ISNT interested in girls" but he isnt gay coded! In fact the only gay coded characters in danganronpa I would say are Ishimaru and Owada (whos success through coding def later booted the canonically lgbt characters to become explicit). Ironically though people call ISHIMONDO canon, when they are actually coded.

Im sure theres a lot more but it likely ties down to my complaints of fandom in general. Such as wishing we could discuss opposing opinions with the intent to understand each other and possibly educate rather than getting hostile.

God I need a break, I wanna party n actually have fun and exist (haven't don't that before lol) but it also takes so much energy and will/brain power. And my depression makes me sleepy and exhausted and numb everything.

And naurr don't worry it's not personal at all :)) okay imma be completely honest with you,,,, I did not do any promo and I still don't know how promo works 😭😭 alsO I HAD NO FRIENDS WHEN I STARTED WRITING 😭😭 I DIDNT REACH OUT TO ANYONE AND PRACTICALLY HAD NO FRIENDS UNTIL LIKE THE NEW YEAR?? SO LIKE 2022 😭 but yess I did leave everything to likes and reblogs. When I first started out, I updated really frequently(?) Like three chapters a day 💀 so maybe my works were quite frequently seen in the tags (?) Tbh I'm not very sure,,,, but recently I found its a lot harder to start out bc I feel like a lot of readers left? And it's not as easy for people to notice work :(( but my only tip is just to make sure your works are neatly organized, neat and that you have a regular update schedule. When starting out, I think it's best to update more frequently so you don't lose your reader's attention. But abt the friends part,,, honestly the biggest way is to interact with their works and send them asks! People are genuinely really kind and won't turn you down if u want to talk. The most important thing is just finding smth you guys have in common. But yess if you're talking abt blr friends then def send them asks and interact with their works or their posts! I think that's the easiest way :))) ♡

Current obsession: idk if i could call them obsessions yet but right now i'm really invested in sousou no frieren (anime only, havent caught up to the manga), skip to loafer (same there), and i'm looking for more wholesome healing stories. although now that i'm going through my reading lists for stories i've dropped, i'm laughing at them fjaksfjkasfj

(i promise this one has proper context bc i usually like pacifist mcs just bc i like politics and connection seeking to be based on a foundation of empathy and kindness. but this one was just so stupid and just a way to establish how good the mc was to the point that i couldn't get immersed in the story bc it was that nonsensical and i wanted to die)

i'm typically fine w mary sues / jane(?) FLs and i even tend to be biased for them just bc there's a lot of misogyny about the subject matter, so i normally don't bat an eye unless it's a writing choice i find unsuitable / doesn't fulfill the potential it could've achieved with an interesting plot.

(btw the context is that the first screenie which this rant also applies to was when some guy caught the baddies and the FL is like "No let's reward them for trying to kill us. they're just misunderstood!! i bet if we try really hard we can all get along!!")

but! i only really like it when it actually does something useful, like thematically or symbolically. like tohru's innate goodness for furuba inline with the sohma's family curse and mitsumi's unending positivity and earnestness that helps the people around her heal from emotional wounds. not that they're mary sues in any way, but since people understand mary sues as "female protagonists who can do no wrong and will be liked no matter what" (even thought their psychology and personality is just genuinely likeable), i think it makes my point clear. there's a way to write a character who is Good and Kind without cheapening them to a naivete that at best, makes the mc pitiable, or worst, is treated like the mc's totally unique worldview of "lets be nice to people and never hurt anyone ever :)" is the end all be all of the story and the solution to the plot. kindness and empathy is a coiled spring that projects you forward, a motivator. it's how you guide your hand and where it goes, not that the hand is never raised. i don't agree that cowardice towards change and the potential promise of conflict is any kind of wisdom >:T plus it kinda puts the shame to the idea of kindness as a legitimate basis for political strategy, and that leads to some set up for a lot of zero sum games i don't care for in this specific story. there is a good story where each character is trying to one up each other politically, psychologically, at all times, but this is not that story and so the tone feels very off kilter.

but yeah!! sometimes a character is just OP and the story is not even having fun with it (aka its not satire or irony), which makes me think they want to take it seriously. and my serious thoughts was that it sucked.

not gonna comment about the others bc i think they speak for themselves <33 but also the first one of these three is fucked up in the sense that i dont even get where they're going w the story. its a revenge story and the FL uses the ML from childhood to achieve her revenge, but then suddenly when he's an adult she has Feelings for Him and now im like.... okay....? belief no longer suspended. beliefs are like those garter straps that snapped. my socks are like my beliefs. fallen to my feet. they are no longer suspended.
