i was thinking about trials of apollo and how apollo acts with meg in the books and i couldn’t help but think of will, autsin & kayla and the rest of his dead children.

i can imagine those three being like: ‘why couldn’t he love his own children how he does with meg?’ and ‘why couldn’t we be the ones to make him see that being mortal isn’t bad and that it’s important to love?’

I CAN JUST SEE THEM BEING A TEENY BIT SALTY TOWARDS APOLLO AND BE ENVIOUS OF MEG AT FIRST — BECAUSE IF IT WERE ME AND SOME RANDOM CHILD THAT TOOK MY DAD HOSTAGE SPENT MORE TIME WITH HIM THAN ME I’D BE A LIL BIT UPSET 😭

I’ve seen everyone doing this on Instagram so here it is. How much would I get along with riordanverse characters?

Percy: 3/10. Like, I feel like we would not be in the same friend group but like we would be kinda ish nice to each other. Like know each other’s name and who they are, say hi in the hallways, ask each other questions, etc etc. But we wouldn’t actually be friends.

Annabeth: 6/10. Everyone says they would be friends with her but me not so much. We would probably be like in a competition because both of us are super competitive but we would also defend each other in the weirdest ways. Like, we could go on a competitive streak one day and the next day I could be crying or need a rant buddy and she’ll comfort me or listen and id do the same. And we would defend each other cuz we care about each other in the least expected ways.

Jason: 2/10. I feel like we would never really talk because we would be in completely different circles. I never really talk to popular people with lots of friends because I don’t have the chance and jason strikes me as the type. We probably wouldn’t even know each other.

Piper: 10/10. A lot of people say they wouldn’t be friends with her, but I feel like I would. You know the ‘extroverts take introverts under their wing’ thing? Yeah she would be my extrovert best friend. Always pulling me to go to parties, talk to my crush, etc. But i would definitely talk to her and be comfortable sharing all my secrets and she would too. Like we would definitely be besties.

Hazel: 9/10. We wouldn’t be as close as Piper and I would but we would still definitely be besties. We’d always hang out and be there for each other and bond over being the babies of the group. We also have a lot in common and it would be fun and relaxing to hang with the other.

Frank: 6/10. We wouldn’t be super close with each other, but we would be nice to each other. We would probably be in completely different circles though, but still hang out through Hazel.

Leo: 4/10. I wouldn’t be friends with him and don’t get me wrong, I do love him. But I would probably stay away from him so he doesn’t prank me a lot. Just as a natural thing I have, just stay away from people having his personality. I do love him though.

Nico: 7.5/10. This one was kinda hard because I would LOVE to be friends with him but I had to think about it. He would probably be the kinda person who’s just quiet in class and usually I’m shy so I end up talking to that person. So I feel like we would kinda both just click over past trauma and sharing the same pain. But we wouldn’t be too close with each other because of his trust issues. But we would still be good friends.

Will: 10/10. I would probably hang out with this guy all day. I mean I just feel like i would, Idk how to exactly explain it. We would probably be close friends and talk about anything and everything including nico (of course I have to get em together somehow) so we would bond over that and talk about random things. Like just random things that pop up. Talk about tests, projects, what we’re doing over the weekend, just get everything out and generally enjoy each other’s company. And whenever something big happened we would always tell each other.

Reyna: 5/10. Although I would love to be friends with her because she’s amazing, I feel like we wouldn’t be close. Like we would know who the other is and I would look up to her. But we wouldn’t actually consider each other friends. But we would know each other and be civil to each other.

I think 3? ACOTAR, PJO / Riordanverse, and Harry Potter (kind of). I have some ToG fics that I started and abandoned so maybe 4… FYI only my ACOTAR fics are on my ao3.

I usually do! I really love comments / feedback, so I try to reply to let people know that I’m reading all of them and that I rly appreciate it!!

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

It’s Drops of Sapphire, for sure. My other fics with angsty endings have part 2 or part 3 planned (I’m just TERRIBLE at forcing myself to write them). But drops of sapphire is meant to be that angsty oneshot that makes u cry when you’re looking for emotional content that makes u feel pain when you’ve been feeling numb / disconnected. No that’s not why I like angst hahaha I don’t have issues

7. Do you write crossovers?

I’ve written Riordanverse + HP crossover fics. I would potentially be open to writing an ACOTAR-TOG-CC crossover fic someday.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not really. I think there was 1 comment about the way I portrayed the IC in Sand and Stardust, and how I chose to do Nesta’s character arc. The comment wasn’t shitting on my writing or anything, they just felt that Nesta should have been feeling guilty for her past actions, and repent, apologize, etc. while my story made Nesta seem more self-righteous & as though she was running away from her problems. I was just trying to portray her growing to love and accept herself. I know Nesta is a controversial character tho so I wasn’t rly offended or anything. I was a little surprised tho bc I tried to make my views on Nesta and the IC clear in my fic since the start.

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Not really. Maybe someday. I have ventured into making out territory in S & S.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Thankfully, no.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope!

12. Have you ever co- written a fic before?

Nope! I honestly would love to (if someone wanted to work with me lol) but I don’t think I can at this point in my life bc my schedule is wack and working w someone else would make me put pressure on myself to get stuff done on time which would cause me stress (and I try to write to de stress).

13. What is your all-time favorite ship?

This question is too hard. But… percabeth or kanej.

14. What is a wip you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I have an Aedion fic (well I have a ton of Aedion fics but this one in particular) that’s about Aelin and Aedion growing up together. It’s a modern AU. I love it but I don’t really know what it is and I don’t think I’ll finish it.

15. What are your writing strengths?

I don’t really know. I’d like to think I can be somewhat poetic/descriptive in my prose?

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Where to start? I can’t schedule for shit, I haven’t updated anything in months (some are even approaching a year 😅), I can’t find the write planning / improvising balance bc I get bored when I plan too much but idk what to write if I don’t plan, I can’t write more than 6K words. Like, ever.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogues in other languages in a fic?

I’m open to it, I guess. But I tend to stick to English bc it’s easier to know that my audience will either understand (or not understand) my whole fic. If you speak other languages though, you’ll find little gems in fics (I still think vin-et-un is a genius store idea name cuz like legal drink age in the US is 21). I speak French, Japanese, English, and some Spanish.

I have included Greek words in my PJO fics in the past (i included translations at the bottom). I also made up an Illyrian language for S & S, which I based on a googled Sanskrit word and then modified.

Too. But Melted Dreams part 2 is definitely a close second.
