You saw an old lady struggling to lift something. You stood up and helped her. She thanked you telling you where to place the box. Once that was done you bowed to her and left. You walked around your living area, helping people as much as you could.

Out of the corner of your eye you so the same soldier again looking at you, once he made sure you'd seen him he walked off. You followed him.

He led you behind some kind of staircase. And made sure no one was around before talking.

You of all people should know. I understand you want to protect everyone. But if anything happens to you, no one else will."

He stared at you, processing your words. This is the longest he's ever heard you talked. Your voice was calming to him. As much as what you'd just said to him.

He didn't know what to say. He just nodded at you. "Is that all you know how to do?" You joked, your hand still on his cheek.

"what?"

"nod. You've nodded at me at least a dozen on times in the past week." He chuckled.

Marinette kept rereading the message to make sure she had read it correctly. The message never changed. "Oh Tikki what if my voice sounds horrible? Uncle Jagged will be disappointed and then he won't have me as his designer anymore! He'll probably tell everything to everyone, to Gabriel Agreste, Clara, Chloe's mother and to the whole public!"

"Calm down Marinette!" Tikki flew out the bag and hugged the bluenette's face. "I'm sure you'll do just fine!"

"Thanks Tikki" Marinette said hesitantly. She then approached the hotel doors and towards the elevators. She had felt the gaze of the receptionists and one of them had got up with the intention to talk to her, only to be dragged back down by the fellow receptionist, the one who Marinette talked to yesterday. The bluenette had taken full notice of this but chose to ignore it. She then reached Damian's hotel room and knocked on the door. She heard something metallic drop on the floor followed by a slightly muffled word. Marinette knew exactly what he said but she was confused. She then heard the same voice again though much clearer this time.

"You can come in, the door is unlocked"

Damian had just finished showering, he was half dressed when he got a message from 'Angel'. He had changed used this nickname as her contact name.

Angel: I got an hour and half till my meeting with Uncle J, you want me to come over?

Damian smiled. Honestly, if he could he would give all his time to her.

Me: Sure, come over whenever you want I don't mind

He was about to put his shirt on when he got an urge to practice with his katana, which he did. He made a mental note about getting dressed soon and he went to the case which his katana was located. He then practiced different stances as well as practicing different motions with the blade. He thought of the bluenette. When he first met her, she struck him as someone defenseless and vulnerable. But he now had the feeling she could take down someone twice her size. Though, that didn't stop him from feeling obligated to protect her. He had become so focused that when someone knocked he tensed. Not that much but enough to loose grip of his katana. The blade sunk into his skin and left quite a deep cut on his upper arm and on the right side of his chest, causing him to drop his katana.

"Scheiße!" He didn't react to the pain, it was the thought of Marinette walking in on this situation. 'Since when do I know German?' "You can come in, the door is unlocked" 'Damn it that's not what I meant!'

Marinette opened the unlocked door to see a shirtless Damian. She probably would've metaphorically died at that point if she didn't take notice to the whole situation. Not only was he shirtless, he was bleeding. 'How did-' she noticed the katana. 'Oh, makes sense now'. The bluenette then sprinted into action. She closed the door behind her, put her bag down quickly but still being mindful of Tikki and turned her attention to the now flustered Damian. She grabbed the arm that wasn't cut and carefully dragged him onto the sofa, she also looked at the katana on her way there while taking some mental notes. 'Looks clean, no rust or scratches that could contain bacteria and seems so have been cleaned thoroughly before use. Great! That makes my job easier'.

"What are you-"

"Hush Shaytan" Marinette interrupted while going to the bathroom, searching for one of those medkits. "Let me take care of you" she said while getting one of the disinfectants in the kit. Marinette then carefully rubbed the liquid into his wounds.

"It stings" he grumbled.

"Awww don't worry little Dami, it will stop stinging soon" Marinette said lightheartedly, as if she was comforting Manon.

"Tt I am not five" he grumbled again. He shifted his body so that Marinette could properly bandage his chest and right arm. After she was done, he flexed his arm. 'She did extremely well' "Thank you, Angel. You really are a life saver". He subconsciously smirked when he saw her face turn a shade of pink.

"Thanks, did I bandage it correctly? I hope I did, oh no what happens if it doesn't heal correctly? What happens if-" she suddenly stopped as Damian had pulled her in close to his chest.

"Honestly you did perfectly Habibti, there's no need to worry" he stroked his fingers through her deep blue hair as a way to calm her down further, but he himself enjoyed it. He knew how Marinette would always think that she's the one at fault and he came up with a way to calm her down. From the looks of it, it was working.

Marinette blushed when Damian had pulled her into his chest, even more so when she felt his fingers brush through her hair. It felt like it had genuine emotion with it, not only just to make her feel better. She took advantage of being close to his chest, his wounds, and used her powers outside the mask to let the wound heal faster. Now knowing that it would heal soon, she enjoyed his embrace, burying herself further into his muscular body. The she remembered something. "So what are we gonna do about your spilt blood?"

"You say that like I deal with this often" he said with a smug looking face. Marinette then had a 'I know you do' face. He jokingly sighed. "I shall clean it and before you object, I feel fine enough to do a simple task such as this." Her giggling brought a smile to his face. "Also have you worked out what Jagged Stone has in mind for you?"

"I'll tell you that after you tell me how you know German" Marinette shifted so that he could get up. "If I recall, you told me that you were fluent in French, Arabic, English and Spanish and that you were learning Japanese. I don't remember German ever coming up" she said in a jokingly serious tone.

"Actually I'm fluent in Japanese now" Damian murmured while getting something from one of his cases, 'Something to clean the blood I suppose' "I was taught an easy way to learn languages, I might have crossed German once before but if so I just forgot about it. Also, how do you know German?"

"Well if you have any interest in learning a new language you'd want to know the swear words, am I right?" She giggled.

"Fair point" he chuckled while allowing his blood to soap into something he brought, a tissue or towel perhaps. "Now, do you know what Jagged Stone's surprise is for you?"

"Yeah, he wants me to record a bonus track for his album"

Damian paused just as he had finished disinfecting his katana. "Wow, that's great Angel!"

"Yes I'm very grateful to Uncle Jagged for organizing all this but what if I sound horrible? I do want to do it for him really, I don't want to turn the offer down but I-"

"Angel, there is no need to worry. If you're not comfortable with it you can tell Jagged, he'll understand. But I'm sure you have a beautiful voice"

"You really think so?" Marinette murmured. Damian nodded. She gave him a thank you smile before saying, "So, what's this quick way of learning a language? I've got 30 minutes"

Damian chuckled. "Well the first thing you would want to know is..."

First off, your newest Kuroo story WRECKED ME. OMMMMMG LIKE IT'S SOOO FUCKING GOOD. You are one of the most incredible writers ever, like professional style writing. These should be books and you should get paid for it, honestly. Your skill is totally unmatched, my friend. I just adore everything you write. I had two questions thou about the story, just because I am totally obsessed by it- so has Kuroo been obsessed with her since he saw her, I'm like curious how his obsession started

like is it because she's young and he's interested? I was just curious about how it started cuz god I'm a simp for yandere kuroo- boss man Kuroo would make me weakkkkk. so, like with all my fics i kind of have a ‘read into it how you want’ thing going for it. whether or not kuroo actually has ‘romantic’ (i use that word loosely) feelings for the reader or whether he just enjoys fucking her because he’s in a position of power and she’s easily manipulated is left a little up to your interpretation and how you’d prefer to imagine it. however, having said that there are little hints throughout the fic that imply that there’s a little more depth to kuroo’s feelings. you’re not wrong with the whole ‘showing her off’ vibe at the party, and there’s mentions of confessions that kuroo gives while he’s fucking the reader - also the title of the fic, invidia, means envy in latin. so take that how you will 🤷‍♀️

and as far as how it all began, i like to think that it was kind of a slow build. again it’s implied that kuroo has met the reader (however briefly) a few times before - at games as nekoma’s manager, when she initially was introduced as his girlfriend and she has stayed over at their place in the past. it wasn’t so much a singular moment, but kuroo’s definitely been paying more attention to her than she realises.

Honestly again, it’s kind of left up to what you like to think would happen, but personally I think that the reader stays, because there’s no easy way to get out of that situation without raising suspicion - which means that she then has to spend the next week trying unwittingly playing cat and mouse with Kuroo who’s gonna use every damn opportunity he has to push your boundaries 👀

Duuuuude invidia fucked me up! Like fuck, lol! The build up was so spectacular! It makes me wonder two things: how did kuroo’s obsession start, and what would shin have done if he caught them (and why do I feel like he’d join in... I guess it runs in the family lol).

Duke had untangled himself from Kal to take care of the wall of text that immedately bombarded his phone. He'd much rather be comfortable on the couch again than leaning his elbows on his balcony railing, reading over irate texts from a childhood friend.

Well, were they really friends anymore?

He ran his fingers through those red curls of his, tugging out knots, reading the messages again and again. He could imagine Kei's face, what it looked like as he furiously typed on his phone, face red with anger. It was probably a very familiar look.

All that shit i did for u ba k then when u and ur bitch were constanly hookin up and breakin off all the fucking secrets i kept for you bc you didnt want to com out o the closet you dick

He remembered. How could he forget? It was during a small break up with Tanya, during one of her bouts of fearing commitment. It was too much all at once, she wanted space and Duke agreed because he didn't want her unhappy.

He was far from a virgin when he snuck out to meet Kei at the barn. He just had never been with a guy before.

The first kiss was whispered with "I won't tell anyone," and laced with weed that was too full of stems and seeds. And Duke went along with it, opening a door he was too scared to recognize, the high easing his heavy heart even as Kei climbed into his lap and pressed him down flat into the hay.

"Please don't tell anyone." Duke had whispered into the dark. A smoke filled kiss shut him up and a bite to his bottom lip sealed a promise.

"I won't tell a soul, what are best friends for?"

Kei never did tell anyone at school.

He thought back to that field party, to the bonfire and the smell of spilled alcohol and weed and cigarettes. He thought about how Kei said it so confidently, "I love you and I have for a long time."

He thought about how quickly his response spilled from his mouth with no amount of grace or tact to save him.

"I don't date dudes, Kei. Please don't tell anyone this at school."

The reflection of light from the fire crackled in Kei's eyes as he looked at Duke: first with shock, then morphing to fierce anger. It was as if Kei's fury alone sparked the flames that popped beside them in the fire. Loud and buring.

Kei didn't get up and storm off. He sat still and glared daggers while Duke was the one to run away. Escape. He wasn't ready to walk through a door that Kei had flug open. He wasn't even quite ready to knock on it back then.

Kei still never told anyone. What were (ex) best friends for?

The sound of the balcony door sliding open was jarring and Duke whipped around, feeling caught in his memories. He looked over at Kal, tentatively stepping out onto the balcony and into the sun. Blond hair pulled back from his face into a ponytail and his workshirt pressed crisp and clean to his chest.

"Hey, you okay out here? I'm gettin' ready to leave."

Duke's smile was easy and contagious as Kal couldn't help but mirror it.

"Yeah I'm fine," Duke came up and latched onto Kei's hairtie, quickly tugging out that ponytail before he was swatted away. The laughter and play felt good while it eased the tightness in his chest, watching with amusement as Kal tied his hair back again. Taking advantage of having both his hands occupied, Duke lent in to pepper his face with kisses.

"No, no! I don't have time for this! I'm gonna be late!"

Duke bit at the hands playfully pushing his face away before Kal hurried back inside, quickly turning to try and shut the door in his face.

The goobye exchange was quick, a rushed warning of "Don't you touch my hair, Duke!" and a kiss.

"Hey."

Kal opened the door and cast a look over his shoulder, waiting.

"Love you," Duke reached up, tucking some loose bangs behind Kal's ear.

Then he reached back and tugged out his ponytail again.

Kal's laugh was bright and warm, echoing in the apartment hallway as he stole his hairtie back.

"You ass!" He said through his laugh, "I said don't touch my hair! I love you too, I'll see you tonight."

The door shut in Duke's stupid, grinning face.

Taking a seat back on the couch, he pulled out his phone and read over the messages again. One by one, he began deleting Kei's texts.

It was a little while later that the door reopened and the clacking of heels signaled Tanya's return home. Peeking up from the couch, the pep in her step was obvious.

"So what trouble did you get into today." It was more of a statement than a question, and Tanya hummed innocently.

"Babe, I don't know why you think I just go out and cause trouble." She answered flippantly, settling down on the other end of the couch.

Duke sighed dramatically and turned his phone around to show Tanya, "We had peace for so long."

Tanya shot up from the couch, looking down at Duke as he folded in on himself in laughter. The laughing continued as she stomped away, yelling "Oh! That boy!! Who does he think he is thinking he call me that!"

The only text coming in from Kei that day reading: THAT BITCH OF URS

Ur a con artist, u take on identities and trick ppl into thinking ur someone ur not to manipulate and trick them for ur own advantage. And u do this shit easily, a manipulative liar who takes on whatever persona to match the characteristics of wat the ppl ur conning wants

So like for an example u once conned this rich businessman who, after doing research, u found out was looking for a famous painting to cover the empty space on their wall and u conned him by pretending to be this renowned artist manager and make a random painting that u tell him is on extreme high demand

And u put ur 100% in ur cons, like not some half-assed shit

U rented a place and made it look like an art hall for auctions and hired ppl to pretend theyre participating in the auction and then u sent this beautiful invitation to the man inviting him to ur "auction" And so the man comes to the auctions and u hav the painting up on the wall and u start the auction and the ppl u hired are all bidding with high ass amounts and so the businessman is like shit this painting must be fucking amazing and he buys it for A LOOOOT of money

And so yeaa

And then one day after a while u find ur next subject and hes this bachelor ceo whos apparently all haughty and u spend around 2 months observing him to get an idea of his character to decide wat persona u shud take on to con him

Abd honestly as hot as namjoon is, hes so fucking cocky he pisses u off and ur just like fuck i cant wait to con this man

And then finally after a lot of careful planning out u take on a persona of an extremely rich person whos about to be the heir of a big company, handed down from ur father, and therefore need extensive training to be the perfect ceo and therefore go to joonies company to get that shit done and u spend a lotttt of time detailing everything making sure everythings perfect for the big day

And so u do ur con and during the time u do the con, namjoon starts to rlly like u and wen u finally do ur con and disappear on him hes mad pissed and devastated becuz u were so different and made him change a lot of things in his life and personality and then u betray him

So yea hes rlllly fucking pissed and starts to do everything to get u fucking caught which isnt an easy task to do

And then almost a year passes and ur in miami at the beaches just chilling and looking for a new person to con

And beholddd namjoon has facking found u

But of course hes as discreet as possible, doesnt want to alarm u and get u to escape before he actually catches u

And sooo he devises a plan and decides to get u caught.... with ur own methods

So he gets his good friend, jimin, to approach u

And wen u see the guy u were like damn okay next victim

And so u spend time with jimin and u take on a persona of the bestest friend

And a lot of time has passed while u were trying to get jimins trust wennnnn

Joonie reveals himself to u

And like ur too in to just abandon the con rite

So u just make sure to stay veryyyyy careful and stay away from him

But alas u dnt know that jimin is joonies friend and knows

And so hes always bringing u to joons place or to hang with joon

And at first u were ready to bolt

But joonie never rlly reacted and u were cautious at first cuz like wtf why isnt he trying to murder u rn (u dnt know that joonie is planning to con u too)

And then after some time u see joons not doing anything so u put down ur walls

And u see that joons rlly changed

And so u start to fall for him

And for joonie

Hes still rlly pissed and so hes planning on getting the money bak by getting u to fall for him and then stealing the money (basically wat u did to him)

And then one day u overhear joon talking about it with jimin and u get rlly sad cuz u rlly fell in love with joon

So u were just upset and sad and were like fuck it

And so u just got all the money u conned from joonie and put it in a bag

And left it at his place and then u left before anyone can see u

And then joonie comes home and finds the bag of money and opens it and reads the letter u left behind where u basically apologize but also call him an asshole, and then u tld him u loved him and that u just hope that he and u never see each other again cuz itd be painful

And now joonies like fuck cuz lbr he still had feelings for u, as much as he wanted to deny it

And so once again he looks for u and looks for u

UNTILL FINALLY

He finds u!

And wen u see him u prepare urself to BOLT

But he catches u before u can and he tells u he loves uuu

AND NOW EVERYONES HAPPY AND IN LOVE

Progressive auto insurance problem !?

I need an opinion on what should i do in this case. 3 weeks ago , as I was driving home , on the freeway , from the truck in front of me fell big peace of ice and hit my car from underneath. Less than 1 minute later i noticed blue smoke behind , luckily there was and exit with gas station right there. By the time i pulled up to the gas station car was barely moving. After staying parked for 20 min , it leaked oil and tranny fluid . I called towing , had them pick the car up , called progressive made the claim. All of that happened in WI near Milwaukee , before i used to leave in Chicago , so I never dealt with progressive from WI. After couple days adjuster came out and gave shop 1100$ to start the repairs , shop diagnosed everything and came to a conclusion that its the transmission leaking because of the damage inside. Adjuster was extremely slow to give shop any kind of approvals to do anything , So after 3 weeks they finally allowed them to take transmission apart , another adjuster came out took pictures , then shop owner want around , called me and said that he will call me next day. Next day shop owner calls me asking if I heard anything from progressive ? I call that guy back , but he went on vacation. Call my first adjuster , she says that the guy who went on vacation concluded that it wasn't related to impact , so they wont pay for anything and I owe 500 for taking down transmission. I called shop owner right away asking if its possible , not being related to impact , he says of course not , otherwise your car wouldn't break after impact. He also said some technical explanation what caused it to break , i just don't know what. he also said that no one ever called him and asked him what was the cause if that. I dealt with progressive in Chicago twice , when i lived there , and i had greatest experience ever , but it seems that in Milwaukee , they are playing games , making me pay , and not taking responsibilities. I figured somebody might know what should I do in this case , I just want them to do what they should do , especially when Im paying 200$ a month.""

Once the house was occupied by our renter, he noticed that the lights would shut off and stay off for a few hours. Old republic sent an electrician over and he told us that the prior owner had replaced a new breaker on top of a broken buster. He reported back to old republic and they stated that the insurance didn't cover anything that was not installed correctly. We were precise to inform our agent of the policy we needed for the house. I don't have my drivers license because my parents say I have to have a job to pay for insurance..Ive been looking for a job for a while now but no one seems to be hiring in my area. I know my parents will pay for my insurance if it was cheaper..right now its around $200. I read that if you're driving someone else's vehicle then you don't need insurance as long as the owner of the vehicle has insurance..can someone please explain this to me? Will I be able to drive without insurance?

okay im 15 years old and will be able to start driving next year. My parents promised to get me a car and pay for the first years insurance but only if i have enough for the second years insurance in my savings. Car insurance for new driver that will not drive far..?

HI, I am turning 17 in november, and already looking at cars. The cars i am looking at are getting insurance at over 5000 (im male) a year fully comp! The car is only like 2500..... The thing is i will barely use my car as i live really close to school, so will walk all weekdays - especially as i am banned from parking in school as i live too close. I will occasionally use it on weekends - but if i go out in the evening im not going to take my car - drink driving.. So the only time i will use my car is quite alot in the holidays and very occasionally on some weekends, and therefore think 5k for a few car trips is ridiculous.. So is there any form of insurance where you pay for how far you drive? BTW the cars i was loooking at are 1L's, peugeots and vauxhalls mainly. These ok? Im looking at nothing over 60,000 miles and 7 years old max - i think i will do 3000 max a year. IM looking to sped about 2500 on a car, but need cheaper insurance than that! i just enrolled in insurance through my work a few days ago but coverage doesnt kick in until january. my wife went to the doctor today and i found out its gonna cost 1400$ for blood test. will they cover things from the date of enrollment or the day coverage starts?

Me and a friend were taking out some car insurance quotes the other day - entering his information in he got 1700 a year on an old '95 (i think) cincequento, which frankly was hilarious. Then, all we changed was the address so that he lived at my house. It pushed the insurance up to something like 2700. Now I dont get this - he lives in a pretty rough area in my town, right near where all the boy racers live and such. I however live in a small village about 2 miles away and just outside of the town. In my area, the population is about 90% seniors and it is very quiet. I thought insurance companies were supposed to weigh the risks of location against their policy? Why has mine come out a grand more?""

Will my car insurance be invalidated?

Phoned my car insurance company today to report a minor bump. The guy asked if I had any points on my license and I told him that yes I have 3 points for speeding. He said that they had no record of this. I don't know why they have no record of this but that's not really the point. Will they try to claim that my insurance is invalid? If they do try this will I be able to claim a refund as I will have been paying them money for literally nothing for the past four years?
