Witch society is rich and educated and built upon certain bloodlines entrusted with the secret of magic but the noble house of Arkrome abandoned a child of their own just like the people of Romonon without anyone condemning it.

Dagda and Custas are poor and uneducated and unrelated by blood but they have the strongest parent-child relationship in the series.
