task 001  — i know what you did last summer

Just as the summer began, Derek graduated with his bachelor’s degree from the local university. He sat poised to take over his mother’s business whenever she pleased. The feeling made Derek itchy. With a generous monetary graduation gift from a family friend, Derek went on a summer road trip. He did every dangerous activity he could think of: hang gliding, parasailing, rock climbing, cliff diving, kayaking and more.  He managed to drag along a few friends, including the long suffering Mike Kowalski. Now he’s back in Apple Peak after a summer of adventuring. Unsure of what to do with himself, Derek has a returned to his part time job at Turn the Page while he considers his options.
