Hello everyone and welcome to another of my crazy #currentlyreadingsomanybooks post! At the beginning of the week, I had reduced it from 18 to 11, now it’s a new month and it’s back up to 16! Oh well 😜 I’ve continued enjoying War and Peace as a buddy read organised by @footnotes.and.tangents and am nearly finished re-reading The White Queen, my nonfiction book Untamed and Hardy’s A Pair Of Blue Eyes. Ik about 200 pages through Drums Of Autumn and I’m also reading The Almanac 2023 and A Year Of Birdsong with Mr B (last book not pictured). New books/buddy reads I’m starting Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng today with @buddyreadbooknook I’m reading Babel with the lovely Janel from @keeperofpages I’m reading Agnes Grey which is the Brontë of the month in a readalong hosted by Cindy at @bookswerestuff Then there’s Doctor Thorne in a Trollope readalong hosted by @pezzasclassicbooks and @annathebooksiread I’m also broadening my reading horizons with Medea and Other Plays by Euripides and Russian literature with A Hero Of Our Time by Lermentov. Hosts for these readalongs include @annathebooksiread @maankawas and @momo.on.the.shore From my (groaning) shelves I’ve also picked up Quite Ugly One Morning by Christopher Brookmyre and I’m reading The Marriage Act by John Marrs with the #bitcrackbookclub organised by the gorgeous @booky_weirdo Finally I’m listening to the audiobook of Bastard Out Of Carolina by Dorothy Allison.
