HAPPY RELEASE DAY to ”Look Long” released two years ago today (5.22.20)!! The pandemic managed to upset many of the plans for Look Long from delaying its actual release and much of the merch and REALLY scrambling the supporting tour. But what could’t be denied was that once again Amy and Emily wrote an album that was at once comforting and familiar and fresh and new. some of the songs quickly established themselves as instant classics: Howl at the Moon and Country Radio are setlist standards. Some of the songs we are still waiting to hear live for the first time. Look Long peaked at #21 on Billboard’s Rock Chart and #2 on the folk chart.
