i've always thought oop looking over his shoulder like that was to show us that oop was skeptical about whether it was really okay to let the kid loose in the office, considering the destruction in the gym, max and hijack's conversation on the way over, and isabel whispering to max about how hijack wanted into the office. and i think that's still were i land on it since, with the revelation that he is in fact a spectral, that means he got to see hijack floating above jeff when he entered the gym. but there are two people who he could be looking at in this panel, and his expression could easily be read as someone trying to size up whether their lanky colleague was as dangerous as they've been told

Oh nooooo Wels/Hels as the fisherman and the collector that's so spooky I love that. Absolutely fantastic vibes! Alternative vibes pick would be Tango as the fisherman and the anglerfish (boat?) as Tanguish.

Hmm.... I would also argue a good one thematically would be:

Helsknight as the fisherman, Welsknight as Julie, Tanguish as the lighthouse keeper, and Tango as either the dockworker or the fishmonger.

today's reminder that fictives are people and just because they have a problematic source, THEY ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE. Even if a character was evil or problematic or did bad things, that doesn't make their fictives "scary" or "unapproachable", and it certainly doesn't make them bad people.

my hottest bg3 take is that killing the entire goblin camp is also an evil choice so if you kill all the tieflings, kill all the druids, or kill all the goblins, some characters should react as if you did a fucked up thing.
