Cuddle the Mantigon art doll v2

FINALLY DONE. took me a little over two weeks to make, i think?

she's bigger than the old one i made a couple years ago, because i used plastic doll armature for her skeleton this time (except for her wings, which are still wire).

i like her waaaaay more than the first one, especially her face sculpt. feels more 'on model' this time.

she stands at about 13 inches tall (14 including horns).

RANDOM THOUGHT concerning cuddle as a babby:

she's a mammal, but her mother is a reptile. which presented an interesting problem once jalal and hilda realized their daughter needed to drink just milk starting out. manticore wetnurses aren't really a thing.

so hilda just decided to go buy a dairy cow from a local farmer.

which needless to say freaked the farmer and his family the fuck out.

but then they went from terrified to just. really confused?? when this massive dragon stated that she wished to buy one their dairy cows. she even brought a huge satchel of gold and treasure to pay for the cow.

and, well. who was the farmer to turn down a big pile of riches from a dragon? (even if it wasn't more than enough to make up for the loss of one cow, he's not stupid enough to say no to a fucking dragon.)

and thus for a while jalal more or less had a pet cow.

until cuddle was old enough to move onto just meat. then uh. then hilda ate the cow.

Cuddle plush v2!

well, kind of. it's the same plush from before, but with a whole (aside from the horns) new head!

i didn't like how her old head was, and wanted to refine the pattern and make her a new one. also got her correctly coloured eyes this time! the old ones were way too dark. i had some pale yellow minky that i just dyed the light yellow-green for these new eyes. figured out a better way to make her ears, too, that looks leaps and bounds better than the old ears, tbh.

this new head shape is a lot more akin to the original concept drawing i did for a cuddle plush!

made mostly of minky, with felt fangs, and stuffed with polyfil and plastic pellets.
