nolly just said poturalski is after this game 5 games short of 500 games in the AHL which is. insane. can we all appreciate that, that's an insane number of games to play in the ahl and not had to have every tooth in your mouth replaced. anyway i got curious who has the most games played in the ahl as an active player and it's cal o'reilly of the milwaukee admirals with 976. NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-SIX. i guess now with our beloathed flohockey i could see if the man still has kneecaps or teeth. 976 games in the ahl is unreal.
also in the top 100 list of games played is former barracuda captain andrew agozzino 🥰🥰 760 games! no wonder he was done with the cuda after one season. i wouldn't have any patience left for jmac if i'd played upwards of 600 ahl games at that point in my career either.

was checking the rosters on the app (not the lineup. just rosters) and was reminded jake middleton is on the wild. and now seems a good time to share the story of a cuda game i went to once where i watched him lose a skate blade across the ice and be stuck on his knees for a solid like. 15 seconds. just desperately trying to scoot his way to the bench. once play was called dead (for smth at the other end, dont rmbr what exactly) a teammate and the ref came over to help him get back and grab his skate blade lying on the ice.

never in doubt 😎 (losing in december with dell in net)
4-2 bakersfield, 5 minutes with an empty net but somehow didn't scored on which honestly i will take bc that is not a gamble that usually works in the cuda's favor lmao. cuda drop 4 of the last 5 with a two game losing streak off to the christmas break for a couple of days. i checked last year's schedule there weren't any catastrophic losing streaks so i think that 8 game winter losing streak two years ago following a 15 game end of season losing streak the year before has really given me huge trust issues with this team :/

i too, am not a huge fan of cuda, but its moreso a "love to hate" disney villain type for my Au, but in canon its a "wasted potential" bc he shows up, has a banging boss fight, and then dies.

drew some art of my least favorite character in existence (yes, I hate this *thing* more than Bunger and Chatot from PMD EoT,D, and S). I’ve made this *thing* more realistic by turning him into what he really is, a Traffic Cone that explodes and never reappears ever again.
(I’m sure the people who follow me for Patapon and Bugsnax stuff probably won’t know what this is referring to but ah well lmao)
