he scoops up his baby and holds them out in front of him with his strong arms, giving them a pretend upset look (though he ends up smiling anyway). “if mama says cookies after dinner, we’ll have to eat cookies after dinner. you need to be nice to her. can you say sorry?” your baby looks down with big teary eyes and apologizes, crawling into your arms to give you a big hug.

big men who cradle their kids and hum some random tune they heard on the radio earlier to put them to sleep. it works like a charm every time, and soon enough he’s putting your baby to bed and kissing the top of their head before he gets to cuddle you to sleep.

One time you were complaining about your lower back aching all day and Denji was sick of it. “I could just crack your back right now and ya wouldn’t have to be hurting.” “Denji you’re not a chiropractor, it’s fine.” “A what? Here, just turn around.” You hesitantly faced the other way and Denji swiftly karate chopped your spine so hard it knocked the wind out of you. Then somehow your back did feel kinda better.

Animals absolutely love this man. Kids too. It kinda hurts your feelings that they seem to forget you’re there the second Denji walks in a room, but there’s just something about his energy that has them gravitating. Even your own kin!! Your own little cousins and family members. Like you’ll show up to a dinner without him and when they see you’re alone it’s all frowns and “Where’s Denji? Why didn’t he come?” 

Sometimes Denji’s openness with strangers leads to the wrong idea, and, occasionally, Denji will get hit on despite having a girlfriend. If no one else is there to notice, he honestly just gives a polite yet firm “I have a girlfriend.” in response. But on one occasion it happened while you were standing next to him, and, not wanting you to feel jealous, Denji crossed his arms and scowled. “Can’t ya see my lover standing right here?? Get lost, champ! I’d never be interested in you or anyone but her! >:-(“ 

The person promptly apologized and left. “Denji.. I’m glad you’re loyal but you didn’t have to do all that.” 

Denji has to mumble sorry in between kisses when he accidentally bites you. “No it’s okay, I like a little biting!” “Oh yeah?” He smirks then deliberately chomps hard on your lower lip. ”Ow! Not like that.” “sorry.” 

He is a talented sleeper! Before he met you, you could have named any location and Denji would have claimed to be able to nap there. Now that you’re in the picture though, Denji’s gotten a little more high maintenance. He still thinks he could fall asleep anywhere—but now it’s only if you’re there too. Denji feels your absence, he can’t relax the same way he used to be able to without you. So he has to be really tired and in a comfy bed to fall asleep somewhere you’re not. 

Speaking of sleep, napping together is one of Denji’s love languages. You have to be cuddling though, or at the very least holding hands, or else it isn’t the same. Denji’s favorite napping position is one where his head’s on your chest, listening to your heartbeat. He’s always happy spooning too. 

“Y’smell kinda nice.” Oh yeah? Only kinda? “No no very nice. Like, you smell like uhh.. that freezuh stuff you use.” My freesia perfume?? Thanks.

You text him you won’t be home for another 30 minutes and he thumbs down the message and sends back “ugh! 😒”

He’d rent one of those electric scooters to ride around town and then immediately crash it. You have to make him wear a helmet next time. 

He narrates random things he’s doing. He did it all the time growing up with Pochita, and old habits die hard. You find it endearing! Sometimes it’s just mumbling “okay now I’m gonna get dish soap and put some on the plate… and now we gotta scrub it clean..” 

He’s careful as hell when trying out new kinks with you. He doesn’t want to hurt you and he cares so much that you’re comfortable!! Like if you’re asking for some bdsm he’s down to try! He is kinky too! But like… constant check-ins at first. And a safe word for sure. 

He will EAT UP some deez nuts jokes 😞. The day you were craving a Wendy’s frosty around him was the day you lost peace.

So when you ask him to “feel how soft this bra is,” he has to triple check no one is paying attention to him first.

This man is a board game CHEATER. And he’s never ever as sneaky about it as he thinks he is. He’ll ask you to leave the room to get something for him at the most convenient times and you’ll come back to missing chess pieces or your hand of cards laying in a different position. If Power is there she’s an automatic co-conspirator; you may as well give up and admit defeat the easy way. 

He’s convinced you have magic kisses—and maybe it’s a placebo situation but your lips do seem to carry healing properties for him. His headaches will go away. His sinuses will clear. He’ll get a boost of energy. You can always motivate him with them. If he was stuck in the desert for thirty days he’d take a kiss from you before taking water.

Makima x Fem reader headcannons cuz I can

First of all, makima is a straight woman, but like most people there is some flexibility there. I only write wlw so I'll be discussing wlw dynamics and headcannons based on that. Makima may at most be an unknowing heteroflexible.

At the time of y/n's arrival into her life (devil hunter, or chance encounter) she probably saw you as another pawn or at best (worst) a nobody. Especially if y/n was not particularly close to denji

Makima sees humans as dogs, (which is also curious considering that most humans would die for their dogs) although you may be useful in general, you may not be useful for her original goal.

The key with makima is patterns, aloofness, and idiosyncrasies. makima will not notice you otherwise. You annoy her. Always asking why. Asking why and questioning her logic gets you put on her shit list. Which is in fact a good thing. It may make her even wonder why she is doing what she is doing. If she even wants what she wants?

For instance, when you heard power was put with aki and denji, you argued about how that wasn't fair for aki. About how he was only one person and had to look after 2 fiends. How it was short notice and how she wasn't being considerate. When makima retorted that aki was more than capable of watching after them both, you asked whether or not she even respected him enough to ask him first. It made her pause. On one hand you were a nuisance, on the other hand you were on to something. Especially considering her true goal when it came to aki and the others.

"if you give into people, others will give into you," was your response when she tries to manipulate you once. Without ties to the gun devil you needed more motivation. After another company party and after a round of drinks you were a bit tipsy, but sober enough to function fine. Makima offered to order another round and you refused, being at your limit. Himeno, the bad influence she is, urged you for one more drink before aki reprimanded her. Makima insisted as well saying that parties were rare and should be enjoyed while they lasted. She really dug in, "many people don't stay in section 4 for long, these memories are precious." she got you with that one. You ended up accepting the drink.

After that you weren't in the best of states and makima accompionied you outside, allowing you to lean on her shoulder for support as you stood. She offered to walk you home. With the added liquor you were more sociable than usual. You weren't dumb though. You knew makima wasn't completely trustworthy, but you couldn't put your finger on as to why or what it was. Everyone around loved miss makima. Miss makima was always polite, pristine, and pretty. Her office was bare and housed no personal affects. No pictures or trinkets. She never spoke about herself. Someone like her was off putting. But.. Where was the danger exactly? So you ignore it until that night.

When she offered you a deal you didn't fall for it.

"Kill the gun devil and I'll grant you any request 🧚‍♀"

"??? You don't have to? I'll just do it?"

"Eh?👁👁"

Finishes the rest of the walk in mostly silence. You mean that if people love you they'll just do whatever? No give and take? She thinks she caught any easy break at first, but your way of thinking has a profound affect on her. "Your way of thinking is very profound" "no it's not" "?"

Low-key starts asking some of the other section members questions including you. "y/n why do you work for section 4? Do you trust my leadership?" "Leadership can only be good if it improved, and it can only improve through questioning." Ah, at this point you should be a pain in her side. But you're intriguing, beautiful, and genuine. And she's the control devil, so she does what she does best.

Somehow you lost your housing, oh you poor thing. And now somehow you've gotten yourself into trouble at HQ. Makima said she would do her best but did she really? You were let go, a devastating and confusing occurrence. Makima took pity and allowed you to move in with her and her huskies. She said you could stay with her as her dog.

"Well? Will you just do it this time?"

Her tone makes it sound like an honest question, but you know it's a dig from the previous night where she walked you home. This is an offer that can't be refused. Not if you wanted to live. When you do move in you're overwhelmed by the amount of dogs. Especially if you're a cat person. After a while makima does eventually warm up to the idea of having a cat after a few months.

When you first get to her apartment she doesn't really know what to do with you Other than the usual, which is control you. She gives you a strict schedule and expects you to follow it. In this case you can't question her.

Wake up at 5am

Get breakfast ready by 6:00am

Eat breakfast And feed the dogs

Morning walk with the dogs at 6:30am

Return by 7:15am

Makima leaves by 7:20am

The rest of the day is spent doing house work and running errands which it's self is not easy. High key her tone Changes, goes from manipulative and cunning, to sarcastic and demanding. Missing a chore or doing one incorrectly leads to punishment. She'll give you the idea that everything is fine before bringing up the mistake calmly. Shell tell you to get on your knees.

Treats you like a dog for fun but also for punishment. Has a dog cage for those occasions. Makes you sleep in it. Makes you wear a collar. Calls you a dog, but sometimes a cat depending on your temperament. Has you beg on your knees despite your pride, and even feeds you small treats when you behave. Will sic her dogs on you if you misbehave again. They won't hurt you, but they will restrain you. Her moods are particularly worse on rainy days or days when she meets with the "big wigs". She becomes more silent and short with you. Sometimes you may trigger her, other times there is no trigger. It just happens, she'll come home and place the collar on you and you know makima is in a bad mood

Cooking, baking, and movie nights Are a nightly routine. You're expected to watch her movies and sit through the whole thing, no matter how bad it is. Makima will always watch it all the way through. She prefers happy feel good and dramatic movies like titanic or the note book. She also has her favorites that she revisits every now and again. If a sex scene appears she doesn't even flinch, meanwhile you may be shifting uncomfortably. And looking away. Occasionally watches horror and action movies. Will let you choose a movie every now and then if she's in a good mood.

Cooking and baking with makima is the softest you'll see her. She always looks for new recipes to try and is meticulous about measurements. She loves to meal prep as well. Her kitchen looks like a chefs kitchen. Each spice is weighted and places in its own bowl. Everything is thawed out. The chicken is washed. The knives are sharpened. She has a whole arsenal of cooking utensils. She makes sure both of you are following the recipe to a T.

Makima loves taking walks with you. She's a morning person but often stays up late ish, the latest being 10 pm, before she orders you and the dogs to bed. Walks with her are uncomfortably cordial. She'll ask you about your day as if you haven't spent all day playing house. She'll talk about her day nonchalantly as well without giving too much away. It hurts when she talks about power and the others. She senses that and depending on what she needs she may either change the subject or talk about it more.

Makima has you sleeping in the dog cage at first, but on one particular night, after sobbing over one of her classics you comfort her and she decides to allow you into her bedroom.

That night she gets a bit curious. She calmly demans that you remove your clothes. She tentatively explores your body, as well as her own desires and need for touch. She finds that it's still pleasurable, but you were still Just a place holder. Something to satiate her until she reches her goal.

a/n. — I was debating between quality time and acts of service for aki, but I decided on acts of service because I think it’s a better fit for him. thank you for requesting

AKI HAYAKAWA, learned how attachment and affection worked best when he was younger. he looked and observed it frequently; it's just something that happens naturally. however, as he grew older, he never looked for it or kept a record of his observations, preferring to focus on his work. shortly, he devised a solution, and found comfort in acting out his love (acts of service). it demonstrates his concern for not only your safety, but also for your general well-being and making your life easier. this could include him opening the door for you, preparing breakfast (especially when he's off work), or even assisting you with laundry. whether you say you don't need much assistance or not, he'll do it regardless - but you should know better than to try to stop him - he's pretty determined, as evidenced by his career.

DENJI, growing up, he didn't have any real role models for love and affection. relying on what he saw in public, which was limited because many people prefer privacy. regardless, his love language came naturally to him; in fact, he didn't need one. what's the saying? treat others how you would want to be treated? yeah, he took that and ran with it. even so, just because he adapts to his newly discovered ways doesn’t mean he doesn’t require your assistance in teaching him (he'll gladly take consideration). denji's love language is physical touch, primarily because he is a touch-deprived boy who has never experienced a moment of romantic affection until you arrived (sounds harsh but cmon, am I wrong?). he enjoys cuddling, giving cheek kisses, and even simple touches like holding your hand and rubbing his thumb slowly against your skin as you drift off to sleep. he's content as long as you're within his reach.

If you’re ever overwhelmed.. Aki is your list maker. He always does it without you noticing—he’ll be like “okay can you repeat all the things you have to get done today one more time…” then he’s ripping a page off his cutesy little fridge notepad when you’re finished talking and it has all of your goals written in a bulleted list. He’ll go through it with you one more time to see which things he can help with. 

Your appointment maker too. And he’ll go to the doctor with you if you’re nervous, holding your hand when you’re talking to people (No matter the appointment or procedure you will force this man to stay in the room; there is no boundaries there) 

He’ll be sitting there clarifying your symptoms for you when the doctor misinterprets things. 

He loves looking at you. This should go without saying—he thinks you’re beautiful and he loves you, but he watches you like it’s his job. 

He doesn’t need entertainment, he doesn’t need something to keep him busy while you’re doing other things—it’s enough for him to just observe you, studying your every movement with a look of content concentration on his face.

He’s just so interested in how you do things—mostly mundane, everyday tasks. He’s conscious of the fact that he can’t view you objectively anymore when the grip of a pencil between your fingers seems endearing and the way you wiggle your arms into shirt sleeves in the morning captivates him more than any movie could. Your careful movements while cooking, the faces you make when you brush your teeth, the way you pick fuzz off clothes—Aki is the one to study it all. 

He’s certain he could fill a library with all the little details he’s noticed, and if one already existed he knows he’d spend every waking minute inside, studying more. 

Aki is the man to claim to not want any pets till you come home with one someday. He’d be sooo grumpy towards you that evening, holding the little furry baby in his arms and staring at it like a mother stares at her newborn child before pausing to glare at you like “I did not okay this >:(“ 

Of course he becomes an instant helicopter dad, taking a billion pictures of the animal, documenting its growth, buying it endless toys and treats.

He ends up spoiling this lil guy way more than you too. 

“He can have a little whipped cream you fucking dictator!” 

He sneezes so loudly probably and you always side eye him and he’s like “sorry for sneezing??? Do you want an apology??” 

He’s a lawfully evil notes app user. Fucking breaking it out when no one’s looking and writing about a questionable thing someone did to talk to you about it later. He takes general notes on people too, writing their birthdays so he doesn’t forget and casually jotting down gift ideas when someone mentions their interests. He’s well within his rights to do all this but to you it feels unfair—like he’s always bringing extra study materials to tests you have to go in blind for. 

“No one’s stopping you from taking notes too. It’s honestly really helpful.” “I’m not gonna stoop to analyzing strangers on my phone, weirdo!” 

Is annoyed at the fact you don’t know how to pirate things. “A torte?” “A torrent!” He looks at you like you just asked a kindergarten level math question. “You need to know this, it’s important. So once you’ve found a magnet link..” 

he treats you like a fucking baby if you’re ever under the influence and he’s not. 

He’ll buckle you in while driving—holding no trust for your drunk brain. 

“Aki noo I can buckle myself!” He glares at you for a second then continues to do it for you but more slowly. 

When you remember that your sober self left a pomegranate in the fridge, you have immediate intentions to cut into that thing but the knife is out of your hand before you can even blink. 

Aki shakes his head while he slices it for you on a cutting board, muttering under his breath about saving money on hospital bills.

Social gatherings with Aki are great, but your favorite part is always getting back home so you can deconstruct the evening. Aki is a grade A gossip I swear, he will bring up all the points you were thinking and more. He LIVES for your cozy nights in pajamas, discussing your friends’ relationship drama and your coworker’s affair. 

He is such a considerate person to live with. He often wakes up before you for work but he’s always tip-toeing around in the mornings not to wake you, shutting cabinets so quietly and taking out pans all slow and careful. He’ll usually leave some of whatever breakfast he made in a Tupperware for you when you finally do awaken, making note of it on his handy fridge sticky notes, always with an added “have a good day, pretty” and a messy lil heart. 

This man has mild anxiety I say!! Especially with sleeping, he can’t do it the same if he isn’t touching you—he needs to know you’re safe and okay next to him.

He also appreciates your frequent texts about nothing in particular for this reason, it keeps him reassured that everything’s okay. 

Speaking of texting, Aki acts like the little memes and videos you send are dumb and his sense of humor is above them, but he secretly finds you SO hilarious. 

Like he chuckles when he’s by himself just thinking of some of the stupid things you’ve sent him. 

One time he saved a reaction pic you sent, never telling you how funny he found it, and sent it to Denji when it worked perfectly in their text conversation like 3 months later. Only the meme was so old by that point that it made him look out of touch :/

Like who would win, how'd they meet, who's more threatening ,etc and just overall interactions between my favorite demons would go :> I'm currently hyperfixating on creepypasta again so I just had to combine my two fave comfort characters lol, sorry if this was a weird ask or hard to understand, feel free to ignore😅

Technically no I have not seen chainsaw man start to finish and not have read it start to finish but I've Wikipedia'd enough to know the basics and biggest plot points and Also read a grip of chapters online for points I couldn't watch or google.

I Feel like the most case scenario of them meeting would be power back when she was naked and free. Here she'd most likely either cross into his territory at the smell of blood or he'd cross her "territory" accidentally since she doesn't really have one but she'd probably claim any vicinity she's in as hers. Either way I think ej would recognize that's she's also hellish and runnoff/ avoid a fight with her... in most cases....but if for some reason he's forced to fight her/she pursues and fights him, I'm sorry ej fans but power would actually fuck ej up.

That is If you consider overpowering/killing the other as winning...but if you consider just getting the other to flee/run off then he has a bit more of a chance....still low tho

Unfortunately there's not a lot of cannon info on ej so he's already at a disadvantage as his powers are limited to what's widely accepted as cannon to what we can see on his image.

Ej at his strongest might give human power a run for her money but in the end she has that gigantic hell hound form aaaand he'd be toast. Sure ejs got superhuman strength and excellent killing skills but so does power, and more. She can manipulate her own blood making her a living weapon. And she has eyes. no matter what ej does if he makes her bleed he's just giving her more blood to work with and is signing his own death and if she drinks blood she can basically self heal which is even more against him.

Also while both of their main prey is humans and that would form the assumption that they'd evolve/morph to have relatively the same strengths, basic abilities,and overall equal traits but honestly that wouldn't be true. its important to remember that ej is not a natural born demon. Power is. Meaning power is more physically designed to fight,protect herself and overall live and withstand other devil's and hell in general so she's litterally designed for more than ej is. Ej wasn't a natural born demon so he wasn't built for the biome of hell or the ecosystem of hell or just not hell in general. He's still kinda just a guy made for earth type levels. Basically He's still would be an apex predator as is power just...on a smaller scale since hes still of earth/originates from human and not pure hell.

Now about the only way ej could win is using bluffs and powers semi cowardly nature against her.  (Ex If he has enough dead bodies piled up it could lead the assumption that a more powerful demon is there hence the greater food source, or either uses powers great sense of smell to disorient her via medical chemicals or the like  etc.) also since power cannot see in the dark and ej is not affected by the dark he does have that advantage. What would really put ej into winning perspective and would be the most likely case of winning is if he can capture her cat. But if power has not met the cat/ pre cat timeline she has no outer weakness and he has no trump-card.

So human form power is like a 75 to 80 percent  chance of winning (save for a few good cuts) as ej either manages to limp off with a few past wounds or has bled out to the point of fleeing  while devil form power is a 95 to 100 percent chance of wining with the equivalent of a few papercuts while ej is either dead or dying.

going on to intimidation/fear it honestly depends on the individual. Ej embodies horror and paranormal fear, mainly  that automatonophobia thing, his is fear of the irrational and unknown in best terms (ex the kind that the mandela catalogue causes in some or pt) where as power is the fear that you'd feel getting chased or in the presence of a pissed off animal, the fear of being overpowered and treated like prey. Honestly both are terrifying in their own way but personally I'd pick power over ej. Being hunted by her would be a quick death with no torture or beating around the bush, plus she's not mentally horrifying to look at and would break my mental stability where as ej is a creepypasta and therefore enjoys the fear. he'd probably drag it on if having the option cause he likes it, it's mentally stimulating for him and there's a chance he might not kill A person right away so he can preserve their kidneys longer or because it's fun. Also he'd realistically be horrifying to look at so no I'm good.

On a side note I feel like if we were to compare who in the csm universe could be a fair match for ej it would be denji. both are humans turn devil/partially  anyway, aren't as sharp as other devil's/ naive to devilhood, and although denjis power is greater he's not as smart as ej so it balances out. Also there both humanoid in terms of physique so that portions also equal
