What do you think about artist queer baiting, I recently saw on twitter, some actor accused Harry styles for queer baiting in his music/ costumes and is set to play a lead in a gay romantic film, I don't follow 1D or the boys, but Harry's style is kinda flamboyant and the Larry rumours also don't help, I feel bad if he's actually a part of the community and can't come out, but tries being a part of it in whatever way he's allowed and now ppl accuse him for it, but if he isn't and using these themes for money, I'll be hella pissed. Some ppl on the comments also called out a few celebs what caught my attention was someone mentioned Camila's living proof amas performance that 'orgy' one 😂, but I don't think camila has ever queer baited, in all honesty she herself is being straight washed by her team. And the only people who connect her songs, and have proofs of why she said what she says in her songs are CS, cuz I actually played Camila's entire discography, mv to my straight friend ( she's no SS or CS, but she like camila's songs), who think they are just good love songs, and can be interpreted with wlw/ wlm relationship based on the a person's perspective.

It could be queerbaiting because he has only had very public straight PRs but is somewhat more open to the LGBT + community in his music and videos. Yes, it is a kind of queerbating because someone from the community would say: What is this heterosexual guy doing wearing feminine dresses and necklaces if he does not belong to the community or is openly homosexual or bisexual +? It is the same that happens on television and in movies and series where heterosexual actors play LGBT + roles. The lack of real representation of the community, openly LGBT + artists is what has always been criticized because we hate that that happens when there are many artists who do belong are openly gay or lesbian or trans or bisexual, the whole spectrum, but they are not taken in counts because they are not familiar or famous faces.
