Background: I’m a 24 Year Old F from the Kanto region, and I was recently hanging out with my Two Best friends who, by the way, are a couple! They’ve been married for around four years now, albeit they had to go to Unova to make it “official.” Say what you will about them, but as the person said: “Arceus would never create love that’s wrong.” I mean seriously, they’ve known each other since childhood and they’re a classic case of someone “growing on you.”

Now onto the story: I was out with the aforementioned friends shopping in Celadon City for the usual stuff, Medicine for our Pokemon, TMs, Drinks, etc. and we were essentially just doing what friends do. Now these two have since gotten a part-time gig in the Alola region as Battle Tree ‘bosses,but sadly it has not had so much traffic recently, so they are able to move back and forth between Alola and Kanto relatively easily. Then a woman with her young child spots the three of us and starts berating one of my friends, we’ll call him B for holding hands with well, literally his husband, we’ll call him R. R began to look a bit worried and let go of B’s hand. However, it was apparently too late for the woman, because she covered her child’s eyes, gave all three of us a look of unbridled disgust, and continued her tirade on how B and R should keep “things like that ‘private.’” B clapped back in his usual fashion, and well, see how the incident went for yourselves in the video below.
