I had the random thought Dr. Fear coming into Crystalis' room, all pissed off because they thought she did something or stole important item and her response-

Crystalis: "Calm your tits."

Dr. Fear: "I no longer have tits to calm."

I like Alice and Ruler both got thrown into a different world and had to deal with that world's problems, just to end up becoming royalty. Ruler made her own kingdom and was crowned king while Alice became the first human queen to Briar Valley.

I have been misspelling Ruler's name this whole time by two letters.

Her name is Chrysalis, but I have been spelling it as Crystalis. I spelled it how it's said, crystal-list, it made sense to me and I'm used to spellings it that way and already ten chapters in the story.

So to note, it's pronounced as Chrysalis but is spelled as Crystalis.

With Malleus and Silver, I asked myself would Madeline betray Ruler and the answer was immediately yes. She will protect Ruler with her life, she is loyal to the end, but that won't stop her from slapping Ruler when she's out of line.

Madeline would literally say, "I will protect you from everyone and everything, including yourself."

Obey Me- Overgrowth

This is Ruler and the story is inspired by the scene in Lore Olympus after Persephone saw the warrant on the news.

Kate ran out of the House of Lamentation. The argument, the yelling, the destruction around the house: everything was just too much. She's tired of this, tired of being the hero, just tired of it all.

She ran with no destination in mind, just running away from the mess she caused. Greenery stared to grow on her body, covering her clothes and the little skin that was showed. The distress she was in was the cause of the growth, but it didn't matter to her as she continued to run.

Eventually, she found herself in the middle of a forest with dark trees surrounding her as her speed slowed down to a gentle walk, dragging the vines that grew out of her body. She felt exhausted, her energy was being sucked out of her body to grow the plants sprouting on her. She wanted to sleep, hm, the ground looks comfortable enough, maybe sleeping here wouldn't be a bad idea. Yeah, she'll lie down and rest her eyes for a few minutes.

The plants continued to grow, the vines digging in the ground and covering her whole body as she slept. No one would notice something was off by the way she blended into the ground. Hopefully, they can still find her before it's too late.

Everyone in the House of Lamentation cleaned up the mess Kate caused and regathered in the living room to discuss to what to do next. Some requested they find Kate and bring her back to the house before she got hurt. Others suggested they wait for her to come back and knew she can protect herself, concern not present in them like some.

The group that was concerned stared they would be go looking for her, and before they all left one person made a harsh comment towards Lucifer and Raphael for what the said to her.

Levi, Asmo, Beel, Simeon, Solomon, Thirteen, Diavolo and Barbatos exited the House of Lamentation and discussed how they would start searching. Luke wanted to come too, but Simeon told him to stay for his safety. The group separated off into three groups. Asmo, Beel and Diavolo would fly around. Levi and Simeon would head left and Solomon, Thirteen and Barbatos would go right.

The three groups immediately went searching while Luke, Lucifer, Mammon, Satan, Belphie, Raphael and Mephistopheles stayed in the house.

It had been three hours of searching and still couldn't find her. The search party was getting worried by the minute. Where could she be? Was she alright? She wasn't hurt, right? The group in the air rechecked areas they thought she might be. Diavolo looked down at the ground of a forest and saw something strange.

He landed on the ground and approached the large mass, watching it pulse like it was alive. He touched it and began moving the leaves and vines beside to see if something was underneath it, and found fabric. He quickly pushed aside the vines to see her face looking sickly pale and her lips looking blue. If the mass wasn't pulse, he would thought she was dead.

Diavolo called Barbatos and told about the state she was in and to meet them at the house, then began ripping everything off of her, uncovering her body just for the greenery to regrow. He tore the vines again and watched it regrow. He realized the growth was coming from her and will continue until it was stopped by her most likely.

He held her face and called out, asking her to wake up and that's he cares for her and wants her to be okay. She didn't respond. He texted Barbatos to have everyone ready with trash bags and shears, then picked her up, stretched out his wings and shot up in the air.

He landed in front of the house and had Barbatos and Lucifer rushing to the two, both shocked at seeing her. They entered the living room to see everyone and their reactions.

"What happened to her?" Thirteen gasped.

Diavolo gently placed her on the floor. "Because she was in a state of distress, this is how her body reacted to it-" he ripped the vines trying to cover her face- "and if we don't stop this growth she will most likely die from exhaustion."

Everyone stared wide eyed at the future king.

"Die?! What do you mean?!" Mammon panicked.

"It's taking her energy to grow everything. We need to wake her up or try her calm down in some way to stop it."

Everyone circled Diavolo and Barbatos as they tore the greenery and tossed it behind them. Lucifer ordered everyone to throw the plants in the trash bags or help remove the them. Everyone quickly did what he said. Mammon, Solomon and Beel joined in on removing the greenery while the others cleaned up the mess.

Asmo walked over and sat down above her head, placing it in his lap. He brushed her hair out of her eyes, finally touching her cold skin. He bit his lips to not cry. "Please wake up, Kate. There's still so much I want to watch you, so many outfits to have you try on, so many spa days to spend together. Please, wake up for me, for us."

"He's right, there's still so many meals we haven't shared together, restaurants I still haven't show you, food you haven't tried. Wake up, please," Beel pleaded.

"There's anime we haven't showed together and games we haven't played. What is the Lord of Shadow without his Henry?" Levi added.

One by one everyone stated things she will miss out on and how they want to spend it with her. The growth began to slow down on growing by everyone's words, but it continued to grow.

Luke started crying, pleading for her to wake up and tell him she's okay. Simeon hugged Luke and also shed a tear. Everyone's emotions were finally getting to them and had tears fall from their eyes, hugging one another for comfort.

Raphael watched everyone crying for Kate, then looked at her. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth as he listened to their sobbing.

"I was wrong!" He yelled. "You're a person who has her own wishes and dreams, who wants a normal life. I'm sorry for what I said, you're more than a someone who serves "Sophie." You're a friend, a leader, a person who cares, a person who protects others. I'm sorry it took me to long to understand that."

The growth didn't stop.

Lucifer looked at Raphael as the angel covered his face with his hands. Lucifer walked over to Kate and kneeled down and took her hand in his. He paused before speaking, "I'm sorry for what I said, I was wrong as well. What you have done is outstanding and I can't imagine how you were able to do what you did. You been through a lot, too much in fact. You were in pain and I ignorantly ignored it... Please, wake up, I want to help you, I want to help ease your pain in anyway I can."

He kissed her hand and fought back his tears. "I care about you and I want you to be okay, I want you to be safe. Please, wake up. We love you."

With Lucifer's last words the growth stopped. Everyone became quiet and waited, staring at the human woman who faced many traumatizing experiences. A deep breath entered her lungs and slowly, ever so slowly her eyes opened.

The leaves and vines covered her body as the moss grew on her right arm and the left side of her face. Dirt strained her feet and a pile balanced on her head to keep the flower alive. The vine reached out and wrapped around the left arm to comfort her for she was close to finishing her journey of being one with nature.
