Remember that you're allowed to set boundaries, though. Like if it's too hurtful to be physically affectionate and say 'I love you' in a platonic way, you don't HAVE to do that. You can say that you prefer less affection, and that's okay! Put your mental health first! <3

hii its folklore anon, its been so long since i came here but i think something's wrong with me

so idk if you remember but told you that i have this uncle who i love and this uncle is living in europe(croatia) ad as my godfather he invited me (well my grandma, my aunt and her fam-) to visit him and basicly today is our 4th day. my mom is always checking up on me and every time she says that she misses me i just say "me too" but i really dont feel it, and also before i left she was like "yeah when youll leave its gonna be nice to get rid of us" or smthg like that but in a like funny way but in my mind i was like"ye youre right" but i just smiled and its so idk weird and i feel a little guilty that im not missing my fam

My childhood dog that we rescued when i was ca. 7, ( his name is Spoty) will probably die soon. Maybe even this night.

He doesn't eat, doesn't stand up and it's just showing. I feel really like I don't know what to do whitout him.

Sure he often was very loud but the house is now so empty even with our other dogs that I also love over everything. Last year my other dog (Aaron) that lived by my father also died and my other dog (Oscar)(also by my dad) will probably also go soon. I don't know how to feel, I know that he will be going without pain so atleast that but I am still so sad.

Since I was 8 I always had 4 dogs (since last year five(Khalil)) I grew up with these dogs, they were/are my friends when I had nobody.

I am just really sad and needed to let it our so thank you

So recently I’ve been feeling bad, me and someone who has been my friend got in a fight and that “friend” got in contact with my mother and got her on her side. It crushed me that my own mother one of the most important people in my life would take the side of someone who I had repeatedly told her was mean if not evil to me. On top of that I’m set to move away from my friends to a new place in May. I really, really don’t want to go but it’s our only choice.

As far as what to do from here-- first, remember that people care. Whether or not they act like it, they do. I do.

Second, try to write down things you're looking forward to. Even little things. Breakfast tomorrow, a movie coming out soon, taking a nap after school. ANYTHING. And then just tell yourself that you're going to get to that thing. Like if you're feeling overhwlemed, tell yourself you're looking forward to watching a movie tonight, and you only have to focus on getting to that movie. Nothing else. Once you get there, then give yourself a new little thing to get to. Small increments. Don't focus on the big picture.

As far as needing validation from men- from your last ask, I'm going to guess you're afab? Yeah, that's probably a societal thing. Afab people are taught from birth that we need validation from men, so that's a hard thing to unlearn. That can be different from being attracted to men, though.

Before I start, I need to tell you that I screenshotted yours and everyone else's responses to my predicament and I read them whenever I feel heartsick, so thank you for those ❤️

Here it goes: crushboy has a girlfriend. Some mutual friend of a friend. Very new and very recent. They're in a long distance relationship. This is not the problem part, obviously, I'm happy for him if he's happy.

The problem part is that he told his gf about me liking him, and now she's not "comfortable" with him talking to me. So now not only do I get to see him be happy with someone else, I have also lost a good friend of mine. And because we're both part of a big friend circle, we have to constantly sit in the same room and avoid each other.

I just... don't even know. So I'm just going to somehow get through the rest of this course, and then hopefully I'll only see him once it stops hurting so much.

Again, thank you for your words and advice, and it's high time I buried myself in my academics anyway.

It's been quite a while since I've touched the subject, so I'll start by defining what makes a star warrior! Star warriors are essentially "chosen" by some inexplicable force upon creation, there's no way to really become a one. You're either born a star warrior, or you aren't. There isn't a choice in the matter.

Characteristically, star warriors tend to possess a strong sense of intuition, which often guides them towards where they are needed the most. The first ones were solitary warriors, harkening out alone to fight in areas struggling under Nightmare's influence; those that came after would continue to follow this example for many, many years—until the efforts of a one Sir Arthur and the Galaxy Soldier Army. By combining their strengths together after centuries of fighting alone, Arthur began to pose star warriors as a genuine threat to NME once more. His is army encompasses not just them, but anyone willing to fight. Though, star warriors are generally placed on the front lines, and are often of a higher rank.

Now, we get to some of the more direct traits tied to being a star warrior, both old a new. Centuries ago, the original proto-star warriors were something of powerhouses, being able to summon and wield fabled weapons long since left behind, and having possessed warpstars they could call upon to aid them. They were some of the only forces capable of standing up to Nightmare, who had only just begun his rise to power, and was looking to cement it as the empire it would become.

This also made these flashy proto-star warriors very obviously a threat, very easy to track down, and very possible for Nightmare to snuff out when concentrating all of his forces upon them, striking them down one by one. This cycle continued, until the power of these warriors was so thinly spread out that it was no longer possible for Nightmare to easily find them, and at that point, he had done enough damage that he no longer bothered to. It was a rough time.

As a result, present-day star warriors are largely in the dark about the extent of their abilities. Traits manifest differently from warrior to warrior, though a few commonalities remain between them.

Most star warriors can sense others like them upon first meeting, and most can sense when a demon beast is nearby. Some demon beasts can also sense them.

Present-day star warriors have retained their affinity for warpstars, but due to Nightmare's efforts, genuine warpstars are few and far between. Still, they tend to have a natural gift for piloting starships and figuring out other means of travel.

Star warriors have a notably accelerated rate of healing, and a higher resistance to the negative effects and abilities of an average demon beast. (However, certain demon beasts, like Mumbies, can override this, as they were specifically crafted to hunt and kill star warriors, at the cost of ignoring anyone who is not.)

They have been known to perform "miracles" in the darkest of hours, achieving feats that are seemingly impossible to account for and often regarded as only old fables. Stories tell of planetary collisions prevented, forgotten wishes bestowed, of luck, strength, will, and always, at the end, great sacrifice.

Some star warriors will manifest one or two of these traits very strongly. For example, Falspar, and his ability to sense other warriors with great deal of accuracy. Sometimes new traits of a similar vein can appear, such as MK's ability to mentally catalogue new demon beasts only at a glance. Having several strong traits remains a rarity, as too much concentrated power risks drawing Nightmare's attention once more.

And lastly, as a little tidbit, any modern-era puffball is likely to be a star warrior, by virtue of their species being highly adaptable to the galaxy's needs! However, puffballs from the ancient, pre-Nightmare period (like Galacta Knight) are not, and could not have been star warriors, as star warriors did not exist before Nightmare's reign. Due to this later development, Nightmare attempted to eradicate puffballs from Gamble Galaxy several times, until their species forcibly adapted into becoming the wingless, non-threatening, and more "average" version that they are today.

Though I wouldn't let it fool you.

And of course I have favorite kisses. I love a good kiss. In my definition of a good kiss, it doesn't need to be the perfect angle or the perfect "lip-touching", I don't know, people rate such scenes differently. For me it is more about the emotions I could feel during that kiss, the build-up or if there is a special detail that really catches my breath. I guess you'll understand, what I mean when you see my choices.

This is not a ranking! It is in alphabetical order, not just because I don't want to rank them, but because I am lazy.

Bad Buddy

The iconic rooftop kiss. The whole build-up was perfect. The tears? The first short kiss followed by this gorgeous kiss filled with all the emotions one person can feel? What is not to like about this kiss!?

Be My Favorite

I was very protective of these two and especially Krist. People were saying, he can't kiss other man because he is homophobic and what is this then? Yes, I remember Sotus. The kisses were.. not good, but I gave Be My Favorite a chance and this kiss was so soft and so full of love and tenderness. I really enjoyed this whole scene a lot! And Kris can kiss.

Boys Be Brave!

This kiss came as a big surprise for me. It is Jinwoo trying to hide from Kisub and the letter finding him what leads to this quiet and beautiful first kiss. I loved everything about it!

Ghost Host, Ghost House

All of there kisses were so good! But I loved the teasing and the chasing in this scene especially. Those two have incredible good chemistry and I wish we could see more of them.

History 3: Make Our Days Count

Oh the desperation for each other was so real in this one. Both wanted each other so bad! But what I loved the most about this whole scene was the way how Sun Bo Xiang reassured Lu Zhi Gang that he desired all of him. So good!

I Feel You Linger In The Air

The most painful and saddest kiss in bl-history! It is such a wonderful scene. Everything about it made me cry and smile at the same time. Gorgeous scene!

Jack and Joker

They finally confessed and kissed for the first time. And what a kiss this was! It left the most of us speechless and a little bit breathless. The way Jack stopped the kiss in the middle to calm Joke down a little bit and they started the kiss again so fucking tender and argh! I love it so much!!!

Love Class 2

Love Class 2 has some really good kisses, but this one was something else! It is one of the softest kisses ever. I don't know how many times I have rewatched this whole scene. Just look at them. You can feel the softness of this kiss! And there were sounds during that scene... they were something else.

Love For Love's Sake

I really didn't expect that kiss at the end of this series. I hoped for a tight hug, but hello? Those two and the script kept delivering until the very end. This was pure perfection.

Love Mechanics

Yeah, well... perhaps I am just a sucker for YinWar kissing... I don't know. But every time I see this kiss I want to live in this scene forever and I would be perfectly fine. I am just sitting here, wanting to write about this kiss and I stared at it for an unhealthy period of time and forgot everything else. That is really bad. I love that kiss so much!

My Stand-In

They had some good kisses. This was not one of them, but this specific moment, when Joe gave in to the kiss, I was blown away. He really didn't want to like this kiss, but his heart still wanted it. The emotions!

My Tooth Your Love

Every once in a while there are these cute and small kisses, so ordinary and overlooked. I think these are very important to portrait a good and real relationship. Because kisses don't need to be these big moments in slow-motion and with different angles. Yes, those are nice, but I really adore those "small" ones that show the love between the characters.

Perfect Propose

The reason I picked this scene is because of the build-up. Hirokuni asked Kai not to call him Hiro, but Kai just ignored him and breathed Hiro and followed with this passionate kiss and I was just in awe.

Sing My Crush

I was absolutely not expecting this kiss! I thought we got this dead-fish-kiss and that would be it. I would have love the series nevertheless, but this scene? Damn, Korea! Such a good kiss!

The Heart Killers

I don't think those two are the best kissers in the industry. I think they have some good chemistry without a doubt. But this kiss. This moment here. It was everything for me. I can feel Style's hand on Fadel's head. I can feel it. And I love it! I am not normal about this scene! Everything about these few seconds brings me so much joy. The look on Fadel's face, the hand and everything that happend before and followed afterwards.

The Day I Loved You

This is still one of my favorite rooftop-kisses. For me it is the way they grab each other to pull the other one close. The way they want to crawl into each other, to feel the other person everywhere. Such a perfect first kiss! Such a perfect scene.

To My Star 2

I love these small kisses. I name them "A thousand little kisses". Those kisses make me smile and so happy! There is nothing more to say about it. I love them. To My Star is just an example for many other shows out there with these little kisses.
