all those lists on social media that are like "christmas gifts for your omega" are so demeaning and generalizing. plushies and cushions and blankets are good for nests, but omegas have interests outside of nesting. and a nest is such a personal safe space for an omega to unwind. unless you really know what an omega wants in their nest, you're probably wasting money on nesting supplies. i can't tell you how many stuffed animals and blankets are sitting in my closet just because someone who didnt know me well just assumed i'd like them as a present because im an omega. nesting is an important part of my identity and nesting is a part of my life, but i do other things. i want books and journals and art supplies. i have hobbies outside of nesting. just give your omega partners/friends stuff they like. get to know them as a person.

brands like Secondary Intimates make soecial boxers for biological omegas, so slick pads work on them. it's pretty comfortable but i find the branding to be very patronizing - on the website, the boxers im talking about are called "omegoxers" which is just weird to me. we dont call slick-unfriendly underwear "alphoxers" so why are calling slick-friendly designs "omegoxers?" it feels like a weird divide to me and i don't like the company's corporate and stilted attempts at "inclusive" lines, but honestly, at least the boxers work.
Anyone with experience can you explain to me how your meant to wear a slick pad with boxers???
I society tries soooo hard to feminize allll omegas but some people with slick don’t own panties!!!

it's honestly fucked up that there was that whole debacle in the nineties arguing about whether george washington was actually an omega and it's even worse that people use the disproven theory that he was an omega to justify omega's rights. like we laugh about it now but really it's not that funny. there was reasonably valid archaeological data that the USA's first president may have been *gasp!* an omega, but traditionalist alphas and omegaphobes laughed in researchers' faces bc "how could an omega lead a nation?" and even though that theory did get disproven, lots of omega rights activists still use that theory as a sort of "gatcha!" in arguments with omegaphobes. like "oh actually omegas deserve rights and respect in this nation because one of the founding fathers was an omega" instead of saying that omegas deserve rights because we're human beings. we shouldn't need a powerful white historical figure to point at and say "look! we're like him, so we deserve decency!" aligning yourself with proximity to power a very alpha-centric worldview and i hope omega activists who think like this can realize that sometime

‘“betaphobia" is a joke”
Are you kidding? I’ve only ever heard privileged people who have never faced discrimination say stuff like that. To act like betaphobia is “a joke” is betaphobic. Omegas face a lot of discrimination and old prejudice yes, but so do betas. Erasing that is going to do nothing but build up more walls to separate the secondary genders even more so than they already are.
first of all, you don't know me and have no right ti claim that i have never faced discrimination. the oppression myself and other omegas have faced is the very reason that so passionate about omega activism. the fact that you invalidated my argument because i wasn't kissing non-omegas asses and including betas in spaces where they dont belong tells me everything i need to know about you and your secondary gender politics.
and, once again:
👏 betas 👏 are 👏 collateral 👏 in 👏 the hierarchy 👏
oppression betas face has never been beta-specific. inserting yourself in omega spaces is just attention seeking

I have to disagree with your assessment of betas and their involvement or lack there of in omega issues. Many betas unfortunately face the same discrimination that omegas do because they fall out of the secondary binary gender-roles and are often forcefully made into omega/alpha adjacent categories. Acting like betas are on the sidelines, willingly or not, or omega issues is honestly rather betaphobic.
"betaphobia" is a joke. any discrimination betas face ultimately has to do with the fact that alphas are on top of the hierarchy. that is what omegaphobia is, actually. anyone can be impacted by omegaphobia, but betas and alphas both have the option to capitalize on their proximity to alphaness. when you see something and call ot "betaphobia," what you're really seeing is the omegaphobic hierarchy in action.

It’s insane how few people seem to even realize that a majority of presidents aren alphas OR omegas, but betas! And yet betas get treated like background characters in every story (history or otherwise)
beta erasure is such a blatant side effect of omegaphobia - it is honestly shocking how far people go to align themselves/figures they look up to with "alphaness" to the point of erasing betas, the majority of the global population. i think that's why so many betas are so neutral about omega's rights. they can not only afford to ignore omegaphobia, but they also participate in it to get social status..

Have you considered that scent blockers might be “considered normal” cause no one wants to smell your stinky-ass omega pheromones? 💀
the hierarchy has literally rotted your brain anon. pheromones shouldn't smell bad unless you havent bathed or showered in a long time. stop projecting your nasty hygiene onto omegas' bodies when they're performing a normal and healthy function smh. it's a Bad Thing, actually, that an entire group of people are pressured to screw up their hormones for the comfort of those who think a natural body is "gross." i dont think it's "considered normal" to stigmatize a function as natural as salivating or sweating. get a life
