ok so my first time out with the cosplay was at evo (friday and saturday). i thought it was just going to be pretty uneventful besides being in costume, but little did i know was that i was about to be subjected to Several Incidents-

Spilled hot cocoa on @starlit-trickster- who was cosplaying kyo-'s jacket before we even ENTERED the venue

realized my fightstick wasn't compatible with the game setups right before my sets in pools

ripped my pants (not visible/big rips but still...)

managing to find some front row seats during kofxv top 24, not knowing the player closeup camera had me in the crowdview until it was literally pointed out by a friend

wandered into the capcom cosplay meetup and didnt realize luke sf6's voice actor was there until he was right next to me

so, it's been about a month, and my local anime con is in town. i didn't get the chance to attend on friday, so i decide to fix up the cosplay and wear it for saturday.

first guy that asks for my picture compliments me for my "kyo cosplay".

...i mean i figured this would happen but i still had a laugh about it-but as a joke i ended up taking this photo to post/send to my friends:

which was fine, until my notifications started blowing up on it for LITERALLY NO REASON-

everybody keeps telling me that all the stuff that's happened is extremely in-character for shingo and im losing my MIND

ngl i think my shingo cosplay is cursed or something- things keep Happening™ to me every time i wear it
