"Sandystar, you need to stay still,"

The she-cat was aware that the tom was talking to her, but she ignored the ever-playful tone, instead trying to push herself up onto her paws, wincing as she could barely stand on her left hind. "I can't rest," she protested. "The clan needs me."

In truth, ever since Slopefur had died, things have been off-kilter. Everything was shifted to the left by a fur length. Everything had been the same, yet, everything had changed. AutumnClan had been lucky to have no deaths aside from the kits when they first settled, but everycat was now frequently visiting the medicine cat den.

She, herself, was stuck here, having been on a training session with Cinderpaw and Cragpaw when the badger appeared. The apprentices were able to return to camp and get reinforcements, but by the time they had returned, she had lost her first life, the badger mangling her leg almost beyond repair, had it not been for Crowburr.

"You died Sandy. You're allowed to not have the clan need you for a few more sunrises," her friend argued. "We both know the others still have a full nine."

"I..." she trailed off, looking across the camp. Rustkit had been caught trying to sneak out by Blueflight, causing the queen to scold the she-kit before returning to where she was listening to Mintsplash. It was such a normal scene, it had her heart ache as she shook her head. "I can't, Crowburr. Leadership waits for no one."

And with that, she limped out of the cave, back towards her own den.

Crowburr here... looks like Sandystar was right in a way. Ever since Slope' died, things have been wrong. It was just supposed to be a simple patrol around the abandoned Two-Leg structure, where Hillary lives, but instead, they walked into an ambush. Rogues, judging by the franticness of the attack. The scents are also unknown to us.

Blueflight just had kits too. How are we going to explain this? Maybe queens shouldn't be allowed to patrol anymore...

The 'Paw Invasion

Crowburr here! All of the kits seemed to grow overnight! I have Aloe' as my apprentice, but everyone else has chosen to be warriors. I don't envy them at all.

Slopefur seems to have gotten over his crush on Sandystar. Or, if he still has it, he hasn't shown it. He was caught sleeping in Tipdapple's nest a few sunrises ago. Sandystar, of course, is still holding out for Thornshadow, but he definitely doesn't like anyone. I know because I've asked.

We seem to be thriving for now, to which I am very thankful to Starclan for. Webclan isn't doing very good...

Hello, and welcome to Autumn Clan!

We're one of 4 clans that have recently formed, though we're not quite sure what the other three have chosen for names as of yet!

As for how we're talking, only the leaders and Medicine cats may interact with this new connection, as we're unsure of what it may cause. The other clans have agreed to this as well.

Anyways, let us introduce ourselves!

I am the leader, Sandystar, previously known as Sandybee.

Our deputy, Slopefur,

Our medicine cat, Crowburr,

And for our warriors and apprentices!

And, sadly, we must pay respects to the two who did not survive the journey to our new home...

Mintkit and Smokekit, you will never be forgotten.

24 Moons

Somehow, we're still going strong. Things seemed to have settled for now, and Cindereye brought some kits in today. Crowburr reassures me that they're healthy, though it is odd. I hadn't been away the tom had a mate...

Crowburr here! Sandystar is a bit... preoccupied at the current moment. See, Slopefur has this big crush on Sandy, but she likes Thornshadow, and Thorn, well, he doesn't like anyone that I know of, but things are getting messy quick!

Peatlake got his name, and I might just take Aloekit as my apprentice once he turns six moons. It's only Greenleaf and everyone is getting on each other's nerves! If the great voices from beyond would like to say something, now would be a good time!

O'Leary found a cat beside the Thunderpath today. Luckily, Crowburr was able to bring Blueflight back. She's been wonderful to talk to, though extremely lucky that the patrol had been out at that exact time.

Peatpaw is still two moons from gaining his name, something he's sour about, but Hopstorm encourages him to look forward for it.
