“You want to spend the rest of your life knowing Dean Winchester’s on your ass, ‘cause I don’t.”
Okay, I have to ask: how did Dean ever earn this reputation? Because it sure as hell wasn't from canon:
(citations and spoilers under the cut)
1x15 The Benders – Spews idle threats while sidelined by a 13-year-old girl. Sam frees himself and overpowers an armed bad guy.
2x10 Hunted – Gordon hunts Sam, Dean gets himself captured. Sam rescues Dean.
2x21-22 AHBL 1 & 2 – Jake kills Sam. Sam is the one who kills Jake.
3x03 Bad Day at Black Rock – Bella shoots Sam, Dean does nothing
3x07 Fresh Blood – Gordon hunts Sam again, Sam decapitates Gordon with razor wire
5x16 Dark Side of the Moon – Walt and Roy kill Sam. Dean throws away the Samulet and forgets about Walt and Roy
6x22 The Man Who Knew Too Much – Castiel breaks Sam’s Hell wall. Dean forgives him in 7x17.
10x2 Reichenbach – Cole tortures Sam, Dean later decides to become Cole’s bestie
11x11 Red Meat – Corbin attempts to kill Sam, Dean tries to kill himself. Sam kills Corbin.
12x01 Keep Calm and Carry On – Watts tortures Sam. Mary kills Watts.
12x02 Mamma Mia – Toni tortures Sam, Dean spends most of the episode in heartwarming getting-to-know-you sessions with Mary. Dean later allies with Toni.
Seriously, why would anyone be afraid of Dean? He's more likely to ally with someone who hurts Sam than he is to hunt them down.
Now let's look at Sam for comparison:
3x05 Bedtime Stories – Sam kills the crossroads demon that made Dean’s deal
3x11 Mystery Spot – Spends 6 months hunting down the trickster and stakes him for killing Dean
4x09 I Know What You Did Last Summer (flashback) – Sam kills another crossroads demon who refuses to let Sam switch places with Dean
10x1 Black – Tortures a demon for Dean’s location
10x17 Inside Man – Shoots Metatron in the leg for information about saving Dean from the Mark
10x22 The Prisoner - Almost kills Crowley for getting Dean to take the MoC
Clearly Sam is the one you should be afraid of if you mess with his brother.

What’s currently going on with Toni and the gang?
So the thing is not a whole lot has been going on the past few months because Real Life happened to basically everyone in my discord group and we've been collectively busy, but I'm going to take this opportunity to summarise what's been going on for the past few years because people I haven't written with since 2016 are here again and explaining what's up with Toni now is an endeavour.
So:
(Tumblr I swear to all that is holy stop moving my read more)
2016-2018
2016 was a hell of a year for Toni. The absolute worst year of her life. Her adopted nephilim sons were murdered as part of infernal politics, Zeke vanished with his brothers in the wake of it, she herself was killed by Hanael due to actions taken to protect Lucida, and then Lucida herself was killed by a different demon anyway after expending her life debt bringing Toni back.
She doesn't do grief well. Can't sit in sadness. She got angry, because anger can save her when everything else is gone, and right then everything else was gone. She left New Orleans with one goal in mind; find a way to kill the demon who killed her children. At the time, she expected this goal to follow her into the afterlife.
At some point in her search for answers she came across Zeke, out on a depression bender after becoming disillusioned with his brother's quick rush into their next misadventure, but they parted ways again soon after.
2019
Toni met Mara (then possessing and going by Malcolm), the literal Whore of Babylon and queen of the NOLA crossroads, online and arranged a coffee date. Discovering that they rather enjoyed each other's company, the pair began to hang out more often. A few months later Toni made Mara her first birthday cake, and the demon's strong reaction to being shown basic kindness means they've been best friends ever since, even if Mara did insist on telling her that her body was "10/10, would posess"...
Ray, one of Mara's underlings and her current lieutenant, was assigned as Toni's bodyguard. Proving to be extremely food-motivated, he has since become Toni's roommate.
2020
Due to the pure coincidence of @concentratedbitterness picking a royal demon name out of a hat and landing on Andras: When Toni learnt that Marquis Andras, the instigator in her children's murder (and factor in much more of 2016's chaos besides) was causing problems for Mara in a bid to expand his own territory by snatching away the one she has worked tirelessly for centuries to make profitable, she sensed an opportunity for at least some petty revenge and threw what resources she had behind the pit demon. However, twists of politics and the revelation of personal secrets (first, that Toni is a former hunter and competent exorcist that the demon had neither suspected or guarded against, and second that Mara has a son whose creation was engineered by Hell to be a God Killer, who had not died during birth as she had lead Hell to believe but was in fact hidden away and being raised by his angelic father) forced more drastic action.
Mara needed to kill Andras.
Toni wanted Andras' death to be by her own hand.
Toni then asked Mara to possess her. Combining the demon's strength and power reserves with Toni's hunter background and research into the weaknesses of that one Marquis in particular, they brought the bastard down.
(In the intervening time, Malcolm, who Mara had intended to re-possess, was set free by Ray...)
Unfortunately, weakened in the aftermath of their victory, they were captured by other demons. This forced Mara's husband, the angelic father of her hidden son, to come out of hiding to rescue her, leading to his own capture by Heaven soon after. In a bid to protect his family, he agreed to take up his long dodged responsibility of overseeing the realm of Purgatory on the condition that they be allowed to come with him. Therefore, Mara (now in possession of a new, brain-dead host after Toni kept telepathically scaring off any conscious girl she tried to pick off the street) found herself dragged to Purgatory against her will, leaving Toni in possession of her earthly estate.
Around the same time, Malcolm, who had been taken on as an appentice by the long-time patron and distant relative of the Brockways, the warlock Santiago de Castilla, kidnapped Ray after rediscovering the notes of Santiago's former apprentice snd reignited an experiment begun on Ray several years earlier; a process to cleanse a demonic soul.
After a negative reaction to part of the experiment lead to Ray tearing off Malcolm's leg and escaping, Toni reconnected with her former roommate. Though her relationship to both parties was strained (with Ray for letting Malcolm go despite the risk he posed to Mara and herself, and with Malcolm for obvious reasons) she offered whatever assistance she could in seeing the experiment succeed, as in it she saw an opportunity to rescue her condemned-by-birth children, if something could only be done to retrieve their souls from Hell.
In the time between their rescue and Mara moving to a new host, Toni became aware through observing Mara and Hanael's private conversations by proxy that Han had begun a put rebellion in Hell which was taking full advantage of the chaos sewn by their assassination of Andras.
After a few months getting affairs in order, Toni and Mara are able to reconnect digitally if not in person. At the same time, Zeke quit his depression bender and reconnected with Toni. After being forced to confront both their grief and feeling for each other they became an official couple.
Toni also took on magic lessons with the fae queen Anna, in order to improve her glamour skills. They came to an understanding regarding Toni's part in her estranged husband's assassination.
With some nudging and woo-to-demon-speak translation work from Toni, Mara transitioned to drawing on Purgatory's energy source as opposed to Hell, suffering many of the same side effects as Ray was during Malcolm's experiment. Noticing the similarities, Toni encouraged the demon to allow information to be shared with her former adversary, helping the experiment with Ray along. Within a few months, Ray was shown to be successfully unbound from Hell.
2021
Toni then heard through the grapevine of supernatural contacts the Han's rebellion continued, but was struggling as the Crowns recovered from the earlier chaos. There lied the next opportunity; to secure her children's souls and take some manner of revenge on the royals who were complicit in their deaths all at once. With Mara's help she made a contract and braved a face to face meeting with Han to present it; all sensitive information gathered on the Crowns during years of overlooked observation and the location of Mara's remaining caches, in return for Han bringing her children along for the ride when he eventually made his run for the door.
While this took place, Mara was crowned Queen of Purgatory, and announced the annexation of the New Orleans territory during the official banquet. What seemed a petty and ill-considered move on its face was actually a calculated play in Toni's favour; resources spent on the territory dispute were resources not available to combat the rebellion or the rescue that relied on it. Meanwhile, New Orleans had been Mara's home base for centuries, with protections against such disputed built into the foundation. All they had to be was activated, and opposition was driven out over night, providing a secure territory for the escapees to retreat to. For security reasons, Toni's family was also moved inside the territory for their protection, revealing the supernatural to them in the process.
Purgatory also began taking in refugees from Hell, with the possibility of freeing them in the same manner as Ray.
Though not without complications, Toni's children were successfully retrieved from Hell, and brought to Purgatory for their own protection. Preparations began to adapt the experiment to their needs. Part of this experiment required drawing blood from the nephilim themselves. While Eli had stabilised and begun to recognise his mom enough to allow it, Asher, who had been much younger at his death and much further along in his demonization, pretended to allow it only long enough for Toni to get close enough to become dinner, then devoured the whole of her lower left arm before anyone could intervein. Devourement being somewhat irreparable, no healing magic would restore it.
Unfortunately, Mara had unintentionally become pregnant with a second god-killer. Heaven discovered this and came knocking at Purgatory's door, spurring Toni to make a deal with Anna for mutual protection of each other's children should trouble come knocking. Anna, learning of Toni's arm situation, offered a fae prosthetic, assuaging Toni's suspicion about the cost by declaring it payment for not going full scorched-earth in her revenge and preventing others from doing the same.
The pregnancy would almost kill Mara, if not for an instance of cross timeline time-travel. Mara's daughter 'Fig' (birth name Antonia), who had been forcibly taken as a ward of Heaven and trained to fulfil the role of the antichrist after it had been rejected by Mara's son in her own timeline, had rebelled against her teachers and jumped through time, seeking the familiar energy signature of Han and Audrey's own god-killer infant daughter. Han, after deducing who she was, attempted to introduce her to Mara in the hope that her power might allow her to rescue the demon from her lethal pregnancy. However, contact between this timeline's foetal Fig and the alternate timeline's adult Fig proved catastrophic, with adult Fig absorbing the very essence of the unborn child and irradiating Mara and her host. Mara re-possessed Toni with her permission and remained dormant within her through months of grief. Only Toni's need to move on with the experiment with her own children convinced the now not quite a demon to take a new host.
The experiment proved a success with Eli, but failed for Asher. Grieving her own child while still not having time to process and box away Mara's grief from the latest possession, Toni threw herself into her work of documenting everything they had achieved and learned.
And then she collapsed.
It turns out that being possessed by what she would later call a 'semi-divine entity' had left Toni with irreparable damage to her health, as Mara had changed her body over the course of her own recovery in order to draw in sufficient energy from Purgatory without knowing the long term consequences it would have for her friend, only to cut Toni off from that energy when she left. She now requires a higher calorie intake to avoid hypoglycaemic crashes, is medicated with a medicine Anna used to regulate her own energy when pregnant by Andras, and must moderate her magic usage to avoid knocking herself out.
Mara's husband also died around this time, leaving Mara as the sole regent yet unable to properly control the realm.
2022
Anna's realm suffered repeat incursions from Hell due to problems caused by the rebellion. When the Crowns refused to take action in accordance with the tithe treaties, Anna cut ties and declared war on Hell. Toni found out about this when the deal she had negotiated to protect her own children was called in by Anna to protect Labella.
With their refugees energy situation proving to be a struggle in an already unstable realm, Toni saw another opportunity and negotiated temporary access to the fae realm's energy in order for Malcolm to try a further experiment on former tithe slaves.
And then there was the bomb.
Hell had smuggled a bomb through agents posing as refugees into Purgatory and planted it at the wellspring of its energy, devastating the realm at large and nearly killing Mara, who ended up possessing Toni again for a brief moment before finding a new host to return and oversee the damage. Though claimed as an assassination attempt, it was a cover for Prince Stolas to steal the remains of the infant Fig in order to do further research into the god-killers.
In the aftermath and with some far less than gentle threats negotiation from Toni, Malcolm was convinced to start working with purgatory in order to solve the refugee energy crisis. To do so, Audrey and Ig tracked down the soul of Augusto de Castilla, Santiago's son, who had been burned at the stake as a result of a deal with Mara to rescue his father from the Spanish inquisition centuries ago. He was an expert in alchemy and time magic.
Also, Toni's little sister started dating Leroy Brockway, Malcolm's nephew. Due to this, she invited Lee's family including Santiago to her family's Christmas dinner. Where Eli, upon learning that Santago's familiar Magdalena had "the same name as Mr Augusto's", spilled the beans about Augusto which until that point had been kept from Santiago lest he do something dangerous.
In the damage control conversation Toni had with Santiago immediately after this, he revealed a book he'd been given supposedly by someone from the future. One of the authors was Antonia herself. She might have thought it was some kind of trick, if it hadn't contained finished paragraphs based on notes she had only just written and not yet shown anyone. It is a book she is already writing without realising, despite swearing to never write a boot on her experiences since Gabriel (the angel of prophets) suggested it to her years ago. She does not want to think about the implications.
It's worth noting that Mara has a blood-vendetta against the entire Brockway bloodline, so when Toni found out Lee had gotten Hannah pregnant, Toni shot him in the ass (she was aiming to kill him, but Hannah pushed her and threw her aim).
Current
Toni is trying to ignore that she's doing prophet things while edging ever closer to doing even more obviously prophet things.
There is an ongoing thread of Toni pointing a celestial-enchanted gun (that Han designed) at Han and telling him to stop threatening to kill her on a whim all the time.
Due to a series of unfortunate and very stupid events, Han crushed Malcolm's hands and no one has managed to convince him to come back to purgatory if and when he recovers yet.
Hannah's pregnancy is ongoing but the timeline has been intentionally blurred until we have time to nail down some key precursor plot points because there's a whole reincarnation thing in here somewhere.
------
Most of these plot points are expended on if you read the drabble tags:
Toni's Drabble Tag
and @concentratedbitterness: HERE
I don't know where anyone else involved keeps theirs.
#long ass post#this is key events from Toni's POV#you will have to ask other muns to expand on their own character's involvement it's too long as it is

Last Line WIP Game
Finally responding to @weethreequarter's tag! I love these kinds of games even if I'm slow to respond. 😅
Like Ree, I have many, many WIPs at the moment. So here’s the last lines from the ones that are farther along than others. There's a couple more, but the latest lines of those are in 4thewords, which is currently down for maintenance.
Steve/Natasha modern no powers AU (and they were roommates!):
She hesitated, then wrote ‘dancing lessons’ on her list.
WinterBones 9-1-1 crossover AU:
Bucky closed his eyes, listening to the music, snapping his fingers to keep the beat.
WinterBones modern, no powers, Soulmates AU:
"If we're gonna talk about our exes, I think we'll need something stronger than beer."
Possible WinterIron Daemons AU (haven't 100% decided the ship yet):
“Oh, gosh Buck, I’m sorry – I didn’t realize.”
IronHawk Crossroads Demon AU:
"I wanted to ask you... why did you help me then?"
Ghost!Bucky and Pepperony fic:
"Is this guy bothering you?" Betty's date asked her. Fantastic.
WinterBones a/b/o sequel to Burn the World Down for You:
They even had plans to celebrate Grace’s first birthday tomorrow.
Bucky/Maria Hill Modern, no powers AU (Maria is an author and thinks Bucky, her neighbor, is a hitman):
“I wrote Washed in with the Tide… you’ve probably never heard of it.”
Tony Stark/Dean Winchester partially posted fic:
He felt a flicker of panic, then brushed it aside, shuffling the rest of the letters to see if he could figure out what he was supposed to be doing here.
WinterBones modern, no powers AU (Bucky is a bookstore owner, Brock is a divorced father of 3):
He’s not looking for a hook-up.
WinterBones modern, no powers a/b/o AU (Bucky is an omega homeowner and Brock is a contractor. This is the product of me watching too many renovation tv shows.):
Steve just had opinions about aesthetics - strong ones - and more opinions about the kind of person Bucky should date.
Seek and Destroy collab that @polizwrites and I are working on as a next part of this series where Morgan Stark has been kidnapped by Hydra:
But if he could keep that little girl alive, and even better, bring her home, it’d all be worth it.
SO, just a few, lol.
If any are super intriguing, let me know, I'd love to talk about them, but no pressure! :D
No pressure tagging: @rebelmeg, @snarkythewoecrow, @ralsbecket and whoever else would like to participate! (For reals, no pressure!)

Sopranos anon: I definitely get what you mean with regards to dragging your feet through the later seasons, I do the same thing starting from s5 which is when that sense of doom/despair becomes impossible to ignore, that said I do still prefer the later seasons (5 and 6b) cause I find them more impactful/fascinating...the strange thing is I read an interview with Chase where he says he doesnt understand why people think the show/Tony got darker later on, it was a little shocking honestly cause that tonal change seems incredibly deliberate (the show is literally lit much darker later on) so the fact that it happened subconsciously maybe is mind blowing (Thank you for indulging me, I havent found many people here that love this show)
that's so crazy to me like it definitely feels like a deliberate choice!! it's so obvious to me too. like obviously there's a lot of darkness in earlier seasons too both thematically and in tony's character but it's definitely getting worse over time. i think my favorite seasons are 2 and 5.
i personally pick out 3 things that are sort of triggers for the tonal changes. 1 is pussy's death because i think in some ways that's a huge moral crossroads for tony. 2 is livia's death because that unmoors him and it is also the point at which ghosts and demons begin haunting the narrative. 3 is 9/11 both real life and in the show because i think it exacerbates this sense of empire in decline and meaningless violence. just my onion.
feel free to message me about sopranos any time it is truly the show of all time and i also wish there was more discussion about it on here!

The Rule
Sometimes she does actually do her official day job from the actual office.
Mara's office, as she still thinks of it. Her office, the relic of her few years on hell's literal payroll, is a few doors down the hall, though she has changed the decor in this one a little. A display case filled with pristine ancient contracts was her personal favourite. It had also caught the attention of the hunter currently stood in her office.
"They look like they should be in a museum."
"I'm sure they should. The previous owner was something of a collector." She gave him a polite and thoroughly guileless smile before returning her attention to the computer.
Of course, he hadn't told her he was a hunter. No, the block of scars and muscle in a cheap, ill-fitting suit was a lawyer, needing to review a decade old contract on behalf of a new client or some such. She'd gotten the cliff-notes version from the front desk. He'd bluffed quite well too, truth be told, for someone who clearly didn't have a damn clue what he was talking about. Experienced. Unfortunately for him, Antonia had seen this song and dance before. She had done this song and dance before, and she was by far the better mummer.
"I'm sorry Mr Moore, I can't seem to find any record of your client in our database." Not the business database, at least. Mara's meticulous records had delivered the information quite swiftly. "You're quite certain this deal was with SCI?"
"This was the address he gave me." Mr Moore gave an affected shrug, moving to take a seat on the other side of the desk. Toni hadn't quite worked out yet how he saw her. He didn't seem so suspect she was a demon, or he'd have found a way to test her by now. Surely he'd have smelled a rat if he'd realised the CEO herself was taking an interest in his seemingly mundane query. Perhaps someone's secretary? Or perhaps he was a bettor actor than she gave him credit for.
"A private deal, perhaps? Southern Crossroads has employed a number of freelancers over the years. It's not unheard of for them to use their company office space for private business."
"No. No, he said he made the deal with the owner himself."
"And you're sure he was a business client?" There's a way she said business that says that's not what she's asking, and she watched closely to see if he hears it. He frowns, eyes narrowing just a fraction, and she thinks this might be the first time he'd considered that the woman in front of him might not be some clueless employee.
"What other kind is there?"
"I think you know, Mr Moore." She blinked. Slowly. Deliberately. When they opened, the innocent blue doe eyes were replaced with the demon's smokey crimson.
She could practically see his heart near escape through his mouth. When a prayer rose to his lips she didn't so much as flinch, and that only made it worse.
While many hunters might try to deal with a demon-related job if the task is put before them, few are properly equipped to do so in any meaningful way. The best any without rare magical weaponry at their disposal can hope for is to exorcise those on the bottom rung, or to trap and extort them into breaking a contract and hope that the demon doesn't return for revenge before the end of the hunter's short life.
It was a sadistic sort of power, toying with the man like this, but he had broken the rule; No hunting in the city.
"Now," she dropped the glamour with another blink, "shall we try this again with just a touch more honesty? Deep breath, hunter." She grins as he glowers at her. "Why are you here?"
"What's this gonna cost me?"
"Well I don't know until you tell me what you want."
He huffed. "Albert Guidry made a deal with the Whore about a decade ago. That'd be you, I take it?"
Toni's smile only grew. "I'm flattered, but no." Not today, anyway. "Go on."
"He's old, doesn't have long left. It might not mean much to you, but no one deserves to go where he's going..."
"I agree."
The hunter blinks at that, confusion drowning out fear and hate both.
"Fortunately for you, the demon who made the contract no longer serves Hell, so I can tell you what I know. Unfortunately for you, that means the contract is also out of her hands, and therefore out of mine."
"...Whose hands is it in?" He asks after an uncertain pause, while she busies herself with a flash drive.
"You said the contract was made here?"
"Yeah?"
"Duke Gremory. She claimed the territory before its annexation. If you're lucky, official ownership will have gone to someone in her service. If not..." she grimaces, retrieving the flash drive from the computer "...good luck."
"What's that."
"A copy of the contract, and relevant client information. Will that be all?"
"Why are you doing this?"
"Because I can. Do you have holy water?"
"Yeah?"
She holds out her hand expectantly. When, after significant hesitation, he finally hands her the bottle, she opens the cap and drinks directly from it while looking the hunter dead in the eye. "I'm also not actually a demon, I just wanted to see how easy it was to make the big tough hunter wet himself." She explains as she hands the bottle back.
"Bitch."
"Witch, actually. Go on, I have real work to do. Oh, and one last thing? The rule is no hunting in the city. You will not get a second warning."
#drabble#My brain made me write this last night#sadism hours ocurrinng somewhere between the annexation and now

Deal with the Devil
Did I tell you guys about the Crossroads Demon starker au I’ve been thinking a lot about?
No?
Well...here you go...
—————
Peter has heard the rumors about this place told in hushed whispers and hidden behind hands, as though simply speaking the words will call attention to the creature that supposedly can be found here.
Dirt cakes beneath his nails as he digs, heedless of the rocks and detritus that scrape his skin and draw blood. It mats under his nails and on his skin as he digs, cold sweat on the back of his neck.
The battered tin lunchbox with Captain America’s shield on it serves as his container for his offering—a photograph of the summoner, graveyard dirt, a black cat bone, and yarrow, placed exactly at the center of a crossroads.
He shovels the dirt back over the box and climbs to his feet, wiping his filth hands off on his jeans, the back of his hand swiping over his mouth, smearing grime and rusty blood over his lips.
He’s not sure how long it’s supposed to take, but as the minutes tick by his despair grows; it was all just rumor and superstition. With a broken sob, he turns away, thin shoulders curling forward.
“Now now, it can’t be all that bad.”
Peter whirls and goes wide eyed at the man standing before him. He’s barely taller than Peter but much more muscular, broad shouldered and narrow hipped with inky black hair that’s tousled artfully. He cuts an impressive figure in a trim black suit, the shirt and vest underneath as black as his eyes, the only color in the whole thing the strip of crimson silk around his neck.
At his side are two great beasts-and Peter hesitates to call them dogs because he’s never seen a dog this big. They stand tall and proud, barrel chested and black as night and have the oddest crimson eyes Peter has ever seen.
Swallowing hard, he shifts uneasily on his feet, gaze caught by the man (demon?) across from him. The man smirks, slow and wry, “Come now, tell me what brings you here,” he encourages, voice low and smoky like the cigars his uncle used to enjoy.
Peter hesitates and then nods, hands fisting at the hem of his T-shirt, “I-I’ve heard you help people,” he murmurs softly.
He’s heard the stories; The man down the street who had cancer and came back from the crossroads cured. The woman unable to bear children, blessed with twins. The unsolved murder, suddenly solved when the man responsible walked into the police station and confessed.
He’s heard the stories but he’s not sure he believes.
The man nods and scratches the head of one of the beasts, “If you have something of value to trade,” he agrees.
Peter’s heard about this too—the trade.
A soul, usually, as the stories go.
“I, I don’t have money,” he stammers and the man laughs, and Peter swears he hears thunder in it, low and rumbling.
“Oh pretty boy, I don’t need money,” the man says with a laugh. He snaps his fingers and a wad of cash three inches thick appears in his hand, “Your petty human paper means nothing to me,” he says with a grin.
Peter gasps as it goes up in flames, a hundred thousand dollars, smoldering in his palm, like it’s nothing. Enough money to feed he and his aunt, pay the mortgage, hire a lawyer...gone.
The man’s eyes sharpen, “Now tell me what you want or let me go, I don’t like being summoned without making a deal.”
Peter swallows hard and nods, “I...I need you to help me. My uncle was murdered and they can’t find his killers.”
The man tilts his head and studies Peter, “And what? You want me to find them? Punish them?” he asks. “Perhaps flay them alive or torture them with their darkest nightmares?” he suggests with a smirk.
Peter shakes his head vehemently, gut roiling, “No! No, I want them to be arrested and tried for their crimes!” he says, voice trembling.
For the first time the man shifts, and Peter flinches, stepping back as he closes the gap between them inhuamnely fast. A hand closes around his jaw and his gaze is forced up to meet the ebony one above him.
Up this close he can smell sulfur and brimstone and smoke, and the hand on his jaw is inhumanely hot. The man smirks, “Don’t lie to me boy, I can see inside your heart,” he hisses softly, “tell me the truth.”
Peter is trapped, the demon at his front and the hounds behind him now, their presence threatening and hot, reeking of ichor and misery. He whimpers and trembles in the grasp of the demon—because that’s what he is, despite Peter’s best attempts at ignorance.
“I want them punished,” he admits, voice cracking with anger that’s been repressed for far too long. “I want them to in agony for what they did to my uncle and aunt when they broke into our home.” He’s panting now, sweat on his chest, burning with righteous fury, “I want them to pay.”
The man grins in delight, “Finally, the truth,” he murmurs, voice sibilant and low, mouth twisted as though he’s tasting some arcane delight. “And what price are you willing to pay?” he asks hungrily, gaze sweeping Peter’s lean form.
Peter trembles in his grip. He doesn’t know what to offer; he has nothing—no power or prestige, no money.
“My soul?” he asks weakly, dread threading through him.
The man smirks, all teeth, and then nods. “Do you know how we seal the bond?” he asks softly, tongue swiping over his bottom lip.
Peter shakes his head, swallowing hard, “Blood?” he hazards.
The man rolls his head in a lazy nod, “Most of the others do, yes,” he agrees, hand sliding from Peter’s jaw to his throat, grip firm but not too tight. “I however, would like something, a little different from you,” he murmurs, hot breath on Peter’s skin as he leans in, lips scant breaths from Peter’s.
His eyes are dark and glowing, like embers in the night, and Peter trembles, fear and anticipation leaving him breathless.
A kiss, he thinks, a kiss won’t be so bad, if that’s what the demon wants.
A small price to pay for revenge.
The demon laughs, as though he’s heard Peter’s thoughts and shakes his head, “No sweet boy, I want your body, your flesh, your seed,” he croons, running a hand down Peter’s chest to cup his cock, grinning when he finds Peter half hard.
Peter gasps and frantically tries to think of something else he can offer, but he knows he has nothing else to give.
He nods, and damns himself for eternity.
A breath later a hot mouth is against his, tongue sweeping and demanding, and the taste of whiskey and smoke fills his mouth. Pleasure suffuses his veins, makes him weak and pliant and the next thing he knows he’s being pushed up against the stop sign at the side of the road, the demon’s hand beneath his shirt.
Nails take over his skin and he hisses, mewls and arches into the touch, gasping as the demon rubs his palm against Peter’s cock. He’s aching and dripping, grinding into the touch desperately, mewling softly, please please please.
The demon laughs and then suddenly he’s naked, shivering in the October night air. The man flips him and pushes him forward till he’s bent in half, face flushed as his ass pushes backward.
“Mmm, I haven’t seen anything as lovely as this in a millennia,” the demon murmurs, trailing a finger down Peter’s back, sliding down to press against the tight furl of his hole, the pressure and heat of his skin ripping a cry from Peter’s throat.
The demon chuckles and withdraws, “Has anyone taken you little one?” he asks, voice soft and silky like whiskey. Peter shakes his head, thighs quivering as he waits for something else to happen.
“Mmm, then I’ll be sure to make it pleasurable for you,” the man murmurs, and Peter gasps because his fingers are back, slick and hot, rubbing at his hole while his free hand slides up the sweaty planes of Peter’s chest to toy with his nipples.
Peter yelps when they’re twisted, a burning pleasure blooming under his skin with each touch, the ache as relentless as the demon’s hands on his body. His cock jerks against his belly, drooling and dripping, splatters of it falling to the dusty earth below.
The fingers at his hole push in and Peter shouts, seeing stars as he’s stretched, the burn of it leaving him shaking and sobbing. Lips press to his neck and a low voice murmurs in his ear, “Good boy, you’re so good Peter.”
Peter keens as they’re spread, sinking deeper, and then they touch something inside him that has his cock jolting and his voice cracking as he shouts again.
Low laughter fills his ears, “That’s it pretty, scream for me.”
Peter can’t hold back his sobs of pleasure as the demon attacks his prostate relentlessly, crooning filthy words of praise in his ear.
“Oh sweet thing, I haven’t seen anything as beautiful as you since the Fall.”
“That’s it dear boy, take it.”
A tongue flicks at his cheeks, swiping up the salt of his tears. “Delicious,” the demon croons.
A hand tangles in his curls and he can’t help the gasp he lets out when his head is pulled back, spine arching. He pushes back against the fingers inside him, desperate for more, begging through bitten red lips for anything the demon will give him.
The fingers inside him disappear and he keens at the loss, whining and arching back, flushing when the demon laughs at his desperation. He hears the jangle of a belt and the rasp of a zipper and then something hard and hot is pressing against his hole, something huge and thick and he barely has time to look back before his head is being wrenched back around.
He’s seen it though—the demon’s cock. It’s flushed crimson and dripping at the tip, thick veins pulsing under the skin and Peter has no idea how it’s going to fit because it’s easily as thick as his forearm and nearly as long.
When the demon pushes in Peter shouts, spots dancing in his vision as he’s speared open, sobbing as it keeps going, hard and thick and impossibly hot.
It feels like his insides are being pushed aside, the bruising weight of it too much and he rocks onto his toes trying to get away, only to be pulled back and forced further down the length of the demon’s cock.
When it’s fully inside him he’s delirious, trembling and whining, incoherent with something that’s too sharp to be pleasure and too soft to be pain. The demon licks the sweat from his neck and laughs softly, “Sweet boy, it’s been an age since I had one as soft as you,” he whispers, and then rolls his hips back, the drag of his cock punishing and sweet on Peter’s prostate.
Peter’s knuckles are white where he clings to the metal of the signpost, palms aching at the sharp bite of the edges, and he cries out when the demon’s cock tugs at his hole, very nearly gone from inside him and yet still too much there.
“Hold on sweet thing,” the demon says, laughter in his voice, and then plunges in, Peter’s scream echoing into the night.
It’s too much; too hot, too thick, but his own body betrays him—his cock drools and he moans louder with each thrust, relishing in the burn of too much inside him.
He’s had a finger or two inside himself before but nothing like this—each thrust of the demon’s cock is like a punch to his gut, a punishing ache in his prostate that has him weeping, gasping for air through a raw, dry throat.
“That’s it little one, take it.”
The demon growls and thrusts harder, teeth latching to Peter’s delicate flushed skin, marking him outside as he reaches around to fist Peter’s cock, the stimulation sharp and furious and he wails, tears on his cheeks as he comes.
The demon howls and bites down, copper in the air and on his tongue as he fucks into Peter relentlessly, the drag of his cock on Peter’s too sensitive insides like agony, but he pushes back into it nonetheless, panting like a bitch in heat as the demon milks his cock dry.
The sudden spurt of heat inside him is followed by the growl of something in a tongue that’s twisted and sounds like hell itself as the demon marks him on the inside—his, for all eternity.
When the demon finally stills, Peter is shaking so hard he’d fall over were it not for the demon’s hands around his waist. Lips press to the nape of his neck and one of the hands on his hip slides up to cup his throat, rough fingers pushing at his jaw till it’s tilted and the lips find his once more.
He tastes blood on the demon’s lips—his blood— and he thinks dizzily that they’ve sealed this bond with blood, tears, sweat and cum and that perhaps it’s not just his soul he’s lost here tonight, but his mind and body too.
Peter gasps and winces when the demon withdraws, clinging to the signpost as he rearranges himself and then suddenly finds himself dressed and standing back in the center of the road.
His legs quiver and his body aches, but he finds that the throb is dulled—the demon’s work, perhaps?
The man in question looks no less impeccable as he did when he first showed up—as though nothing has happened. The great beasts are back at his side, drooling acid and breathing in great bellows that stir the dust.
The demon smirks and an odd, unearthly glow—like hellfire, Peter thinks giddily—appears behind his eyes.
“I’ll see you again, Peter Parker.”
“Wait!”
Peter lunges forward and then stumbles when the hounds growl menacingly. The man laughs, patting their heads, “Hush Dum-e, U, let the pretty boy alone,” he croons, smirking at Peter.
“Well?” he drawls, sardonic and lazy.
“I uh, what if I need you again?” Peter asks, wondering what the hell is wrong with him as he does. If this isn’t some hallucination, then he’s sold his soul, and been fucked within an inch of his life by a demon who he shouldn’t want to see ever again.
The demon quirks his head and then smirks, “If you need me, call me,” he murmurs, flicking his fingers—Peter gasps as a smooth piece of card stock appears in his palm.
The lettering is black and raised—Tony Stark, Knight of Hell.
When Peter looks up the man—Tony—is gone.
—————
The next morning there’s a story in the news about two men who stumbled into the police station, covered in wounds, screaming about hell hounds and a man with glowing eyes torturing them in the night.
The confess to the murder of Ben Parker and the assault of May Parker and are thrown in jail where their screams each night haunt the hallways—just as they are haunted by their crimes, each and every night.
Peter calls Tony’s name one night soon after and gets on his knees to thank the demon.
Vengance has never tasted so sweet.

Deals with the Devil
Author: hela-avenger
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Word Count: 1588
Summary: “And you say that I'm the devil, you know, and I don't disagree No, I don't see the harm” -Quit by Ariana Grande
You stood in the middle of a desolate crossroad wondering if this was the right decision to make. Your friends warned you against doing this but hearing the rumors of the darkness that lingered here was enough to convince you to come. If there was any way to correct what went wrong, then you would gladly sell your soul to the devil to make things right.
The moment of hesitance passes as you shakily dig a hole in the center of the crossroads and place the tin box inside. The contents of the box were the basic components of a simple spell you found online; some graveyard dirt, a bone from a black cat, and a picture of yourself.
It was a picture of you from a few years ago and you couldn’t help but tearfully smile at the memory. An arm could be seen wrapped around you but the picture was ripped in the middle just revealing you in the image and no one else.
Wanting to get this over with, you quickly bury the box and stand up. You wait for something to happen like a breeze of air to cause you to tumble or lighting to strike from the sky to warn you of the dark forces you called into play.
Nothing happens.
You let out a sigh, regret seeping through your whole being. You should have known this spell was a sham and now you were left with dark memories of the past that opened up some deep wounds.
You turn to leave only to find yourself face to face with a smirking grin.
“Leaving so soon?” he asks, his breath fanning over your face.
You shiver at the act and his grin grows wider at the effect he has on you. You slowly look up to take in his face. His hair had grown enough that it curled behind his ears and instead of clear sky eyes, they were black.
An eternal darkness was staring back at you and you felt the last of your hope disappear in it.
“Done checking me out, sweetheart?” he asks you. “I don’t have all night.”
You quickly take a step away from him and brush your hair away from your face. A nervous habit that you adapted from… well, he’s gone now. Every good in him was gone.
“I’m here to make a deal with a demon so just give me a minute to recover from the initial shock,” you snap back at him before muttering something under your breath, “Talk about customer service…”
He grins at the comment and simply raises his hands in mock apology.
“Just let me know when you’re ready.”
You offered a simple nod before turning away and rubbing your face tiredly. You had known the outcome of this so why were you shocked that he had appeared. This is what you wanted and yet it didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to.
“How did you get into this business?” you ask as you turn to face him.
The question catches him off-guard. None of his clients were ever interested in starting up a conversation with him, but ever since he's been called here, he knew that his latest client was different. Something deep inside him told him so.
“I don’t know,” he answers sincerely with a shrug. “Just woke up, given a set of instructions, and now I’m here.”
“How long have you been doing this?”
Another shrug, “A couple of years, I think.”
You frown at this sensing that there was more to it.
“Do you remember anything that happened to you when you were human?”
“No,” he answers with a scowl. He didn’t remember anything from his past and he was put off by the question. “What’s with the interrogation?”
“Bucky, don’t get mad…” you start to say but he quickly cuts you off.
“Who the hell is Bucky?” he shouts in anger. “And who are you? Why are you here? What do you want?”
You stumble back as you felt the immensity of his rage. Fear coursed through your body as he caught your arm and pulled you back to him.
“Tell me what you want,” he orders. “Strike the deal, seal it, and leave.”
You shake under his hands and a whimper slips from your lips.
“I want you back,” you whisper as tears threatened to spill from your eyes. “I want my Bucky back.”
His anger fades away and a sense of regret flickers in his being. It surprises him, the act of feeling, but he doesn’t reel in disgust like other of his kind do. Instead, he wants to feel it again.
He turns away from you trying to make sense of this all and you watch him struggle. You want to go over to him and pull him into an embrace, but the Bucky you knew was gone. The person standing in front of you was someone else.
“I want to make a deal with you,” you tell him causing him to turn back around to face you. “I want you to go back to the day of the car accident and stop it from happening.”
“What car accident?” he asks though something in the back of his mind knew what she was talking about.
“The one where we were driving back from a day at the beach,” you explain to him as tears started to run down your face. Your throat begins to tighten, but you keep going, “The one where you looked away from the street to ask me a question and you veered off the road and killed that couple. The one where I woke up at the hospital and you were gone and Steve had to tell me that you weren’t coming back. The one where…”
“Stop,” he begs not being able to handle your self-destruction. “Please stop…”
“Their son, Tony, he’s doing fine,” you explain to him. “Steve and Peggy were fostering him and they just finally adopted him last year. They’re married too and are expecting. I’m happy for them but I couldn’t stop thinking about how that could have been me if you had just stayed…”
“I need you to stop…” he pleads as a sick feeling grows within him.
“All these years I’ve wondered what happened to you,” you tell him. “I wondered where you were and what you were going through. I wanted to help you and bring you back home and I finally found you... doing this.”
“STOP!” he shouts. “PLEASE STOP!”
“So make the deal!” you demand as you’re the one to grab a hold of him and shake him out of his reverie. “Take my soul, fix this!”
Bucky grabs you by the hair and pulls you forward. You wait for a painful impact but instead, it is a brutal kiss that seers between you. A clashing of lips and teeth that was sweetly painful.
He lets you go and wipes his mouth still looking shaken up.
“Deal sealed.”
Those were the last words you heard before falling into an immense darkness.
Bucky’s laughter filled the air as he drove down the road. Your hair was flapping around due to your adamant need to put the top down. A decision that you were now starting to regret. He was laughing at your misery and though you scowled at him, you weren’t really angry at him. His laughter dies down as he looked at you, something different flickered in his clear sky eyes.
“Today was perfect,” he tells you.
“Very,” you respond with a growing smile on your face. You lean your head back on the seat and close your eyes in contempt. “Picnic on the beach, swimming with some dolphins… an overall perfect day.”
Bucky’s focus returns towards the road but he couldn’t stop from glancing over to you once more. The happy smile on your face was something he wanted to see every day of his life. He wanted it to be the first thing he sees when he wakes up and the last thing before he falls asleep.
“Hey, can I ask you something?”
You hum in response keeping your eyes closed. His hand shifts towards the pocket of his shorts, feeling the small velvet box that held an engagement ring. Bucky had every intention to propose to her here and now before he feels a shiver run through him.
Look up.
Bucky shifts his gaze forward and finds that he was driving on the other side of the road with another car coming his way. He’s quick to veer back into his lane, the passing car honking their horn unnecessarily, forcing you to jump in your seat by its suddenness.
“What was that for?” you ask confused as you turn to look behind you at the car.
You could see the shadows of two heads from the front seat and a small hand extended up, holding a toy plane.
“Nothing,” Bucky responds with a shiver.
With your attention elsewhere, he takes his hand out of his pocket, leaving the engagement ring there, and places both his hand on the steering wheel.
That was close, he thought. He could have gotten them all killed. Must have an angel looking over his shoulder or something.
You turn back around and face him with a curious expression.
“What did you want to ask me?”
Bucky made sure that there were no more incoming cars from the other side of the road before shifting his gaze towards you.
“Marry me?”

***FURTHER UPDATES***
So sit-com wise, it seems they were referencing Malcolm in the Middle as the twins broke the fourth wall and talked to the audience, like Malcolm did
However, the theme song has told the viewer to stop questioning the reality of Westview - which could be a little reference to Mystery Science Theatre 3000? - When Pietro first shows up in the title sequence, along with his name title card, the lyrics say “Though there may be no way of knowing who’s come to play” - Istg, I do not trust Pietro
Vision says to Wanda that he had to wear his Halloween costume because there were no other clothes in his closet, Wanda is trying to move the plot along and forcing Vision to play along
Evan Peters’ ‘Mom’ tattoo is shown, which is a tattoo he actually has in real life ! But could this stand for ‘Multiverse of Madness’ or some other red herring?
Pietro mentions to Wanda that if he had found ‘Shangri-La’ he wouldn’t want to leave either - Shangri-La is a real place on Earth-616 that was founded by a version of Vision
Tommy refers to Pietro’s speed as ‘kickass’ and then Wanda repeats that, saying ‘kickass’ again - Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Evan Peters (both versions of QuickSilver) were in Kick-Ass together
The ad for this episode was freaky af - the character on the beach who starved and decomposed could be a little nod to Indiana Jones, where a Nazi’s face melts in - and it could also be reference to Wanda being all alone and struggling to process her grief. The shark in the ad could also be Nightmare or Mephisto or just someone more powerful than Wanda offering her a new beginning with Vision or trapped her in some way - and is feeding off her magic? The flavour of the yoghurt is strawberry flavoured and strawberry’s are red on the outside and pink-ish on the inside - much like Wanda’s og costume and her magic being red 👀
Pietro and Wanda talk about their Sokovian accents at a point in the episode and how neither have them anymore. Wanda’s, as we know, has disappeared over the course of the MCU movies and Pietro’s just doesn’t exist - another nice little nod to Peter Maximoff from the fox X-Men films? Also, Pietro states that “I’m just trying to do my part, okay? Come to town unexpectedly, create tension with the brother-in-law, stir up trouble with the Rugrats (a 90’s cartoon 👀) and ultimately give you grief.” - in reference to the grief part, could Pietro be killed off again? Stir up trouble with the rugrats, being possible shards of the demon Mephisto’s soul, could this be Mephisto trying to influence them on a deeper level? It’s also many many common sitcom clichès
Pietro talks about how “I got shot like a chump on the street for no reason at all” - nice little nod to how Pietro was killed off unnecessarily and how we as a fandom still talk about how regular bullets shouldn’t have killed him
Herb is dressed as Frankenstein’s monster - Dr. Frankenstein created his monster and soon lost control over him, and he was created using electricity or lightning - much like Vision was created and brought to life by Thor using Mjolnïr to bring lightning down to his incubator thingy majig. Could this also be a reference to either Wanda slowly losing control over Westview or someone else controlling Wanda/controlling the citizens of Westview - we saw in episode 3 that Agnes told Herb to be quiet as it seemed he was about to spill the beans 👀
Vision goes towards Ellis avenue and is at a ‘crossroads’ of sorts - in folklore, crossroads are often used to speak to or summon the devil and are also used when an important character is making a decision that could change everything. He spots some citizens repeating certain actions and/or just standing completely still, could these be npc’s (non playable characters)? And now that the barrier of the Hex has spread, will those citizens now start to move? 👀 Also I know that all stop signs look like it, but the stop sign is also a red hexagon 🛑
Darcy scrolls through Hayward’s computer files and goes past a file called “Project C4-113” - it could reference Avengers Issue #113 in which Wanda and Vision both appear on the cover and she says she’s going to make the world pay for Vision’s death. There’s also another file called “Project M5-247” which could be a nod to Avengers Issue #247, which shows the origin of the Eternals and in the same vein, Scarlet Witch and Vision trying to help Captain Marvel. And when Darcy emails Hayward’s cataract plans, you can see the names of “James Alexander and James Gadd” - James Alexander is a visual effects producer on Wandavision and James Gadd works on post production at Marvel
Also: Agnes pulls as Mrs Hart and repeats the same phrase over and over again
After Wanda blasts Pietro, you can see on a fake grave stone the name of “Janell Sammelman”, Janell is a first assistant director on Wandavision
When Wanda moves Westview to save Vision, she turns S.W.O.R.D and it’s agents into clowns + a circus - I just love that the agents turned into clowns 😂 but there is a nice little plot line in the comics where Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Hawkeye join the circus - and this COULD be stretch, but earlier in the episode there is the number #22 which could be Avengers Issue #22, which is the Issue that they join the circus
As soon as Vision was brought back into Westview, he was healed - which means if he was to exit again, he probably wouldn’t survive 😭
The episode title is ‘All-New Halloween Spooktackular!” - which “All-New” is a designation that is often used on covers for comic books. And the first issue of the second The Vision and the Scarlet Witch series takes place on Halloween night - but the events in this comics didn’t influence this episode’s plot
Pietro points out that he has the “XY chromosome” - X for X-Men? Plus there’s the X gene 😂
He mentions “Uncle Peter to the rescue” - Peter is the name of Quicksilver from the Fox X-Men Franchise
Pietro and Tommy quote the movie Top Gun (1986) by saying “I fell the need, the need for speed”
Wanda almost seems hesitant to trust this version of Pietro (rightfully so, in my opinion) and is wary of him being around Tommy and Billy
Pietro says some very Mephisto/Nightmare-like things this episode - “Unleash hell, demon spawn!”, “The kids need a father figure”, “Damnit, if Westview isn’t charming as Hell...” - And if Pietro isn’t Mephisto/Nightmare, it HAS to be Agnes or her other half Ralph and Pietro is probably Ralph tbh...or could Pietro just be a scapegoat and Hayward is Ralph? 👀
The theatre in town, which is playing the Incredibles and The Parent Trap, is called the Coronet. There’s a classic poem called “The Coronet” written by Andrew MARVELL (Marvell, is also the true name of the first incarnation of Captain Marvel in the comics) and is about a guy who knows that the sins of mankind led to the death of Christ. He attempts to create a new crown for Christ’s head in an attempt to atone, but finds that there is sin in the crown as well, as the devil is within the crown and therefore he may achieve glory and success with his new creation 👀
Hayward’s confidential project “Cataract” included experimenting on Vision’s body, as was revealed by Darcy (my wife 💙 and Monica is also my wife 💚 and so is Wanda 💛, I just love women, you know? 😂). A cataract is a cloudy area in the lens of the eye that leads to a decrease in vision - is Hayward trying to weaponise Vision? Or maybe even trying to bring Ultron back? Or do what Tony wanted to do in the first place, and make a suit of armour that’s around the world? Either way, it’s for nefarious purposes
Who is Monica’s guy? Jimmy and Monica are off to meet him - could it be Reed Richards (Mr Fantastic)? Or could it be Victor Von Doom (Dr Doom)? Could it be Hank McCoy (Beast)? Or even Adam Brashear (Blue Marvel)? Or if it is a woman, could it be the Skrull daughter of Talos that Monica befriended at the end of Captain Marvel? Could it be Abigail Brand (A major character in recent S.W.O.R.D comics and an Alpha Flight Member)? Or even Toni Ho (Iron Patriot, and could she be introduced to help lay the ground work for my other queen, Riri Williams/Iron Heart?)? Or could it even be Sue Storm (Invisible Woman)?
In the background of the episode we see a number of children and adults dressed up as many different characters, which includes: Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, Jason Voorhees, with a sweater striped like Freddy Krueger’s and even a kid that looks dressed in an off-brand Charizard costume 😂 Pokèmon has always been popular, but saw an increase during the 90’s
Pietro and the kids are drinking “Kane Cola” which could be a reference to the 90’s drinks “Jolt Cola” or even “Surge” - it could also, with all the X-Men Easter eggs, be a reference to Garrison Kane, who was a member of Cable’s mercenary team “Six Pack” and is sometimes also known as ‘Weapon X’
The kid that Wanda mentions having a “skin thing” in the orphanage - could that be a reference to her Brotherhood of Evil Mutants co-worker Toad? Or maybe even Mystique? Maybe Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler)?
One of the houses has a sign up that says ‘Macabre Mansion’ - another possible reference to House of M?
During a flashback, it’s shown that the twins are playing Dance Dance Revolution, which came out in 1999. Also this might be a stretch, but the boys have a dog plushie in their room the right - which is coloured red and black - could this be a reference to Dogpool? 😂
I love this show 🤣💙

quite a few people requested hbo bela! i’m thinking she [claws her way topside after an eternity on the rack] [eyes blood-red, any warmth she had left seared away by hellfire] [finds her corpse moldering in an unmarked grave and restores it with pilfered magic and sheer force of will] [she’s been through too much in that body to let it rot alone in the cold earth] [stakes out a swath of crossroads and builds up her territory deal by deal] [destroys every contract signed by a child] [snaps the neck of any demon who dares ask why. pretty soon they learn to stop asking] [retakes the supernatural black market by storm, because she’s bored with dealing only in souls] [caches of stolen and bartered arcana scattered throughout the continental US] [weapons of heaven in a nondescript locker in Atlantic City] [Hand of God in a warded basement in Detroit] [luxury because she can afford it and because the slide of silk and marble on her body makes it easier forget the pit] [celadon teaware, perfume in crystal decanters, leather purses as red as the smoke under her skin] [negotiating with buyers over glasses of thousand-dollar scotch, in the plush back rooms of private clubs in London and Paris] [has Crowley’s real bones in a bank vault in Zurich. nobody knows this, including Crowley] [has the name and contact info of every supernatural power player on three continents, because that’s just good business] [if the thing you’re looking for exists somewhere between heaven and hell, the saying goes, Bela Talbot can sell it to you] [diamond earrings laser-engraved with warding sigils] [anti-summoning charm she got from some witch twins in exchange for a set of resurrection sachets] [burns Barthamus’s bones with a snap of her fingers, the instant he makes a play for the crossroads] [sends Toni Bevell back to the British Men of Letters with a warning and two shattered wrists, the first and only time they try to meddle with a buy] [tea and secrets with Rowena in the throne room of Hell] [brunch with Anael in a Manhattan skyscraper, champagne flute in one hand as she slides a strand of rubies across the white tablecloth] [tense season 9 meeting with the Winchesters to sell them the location of Nadia’s Codex] [laughs when Dean can’t quite meet her eyes] [lifts her shirt to show him the scar that runs up her belly, where a blade once split her open, spilled her entrails onto the rack as she wept and begged] [she kept only one scar from the pit: the one Dean Winchester gave her the first time he picked up the knife] [ignores the apocalypses that come and go] [she’s Bela Talbot, Queen of the Crossroads, First Seal of Hell] [she knows the world can burn and still go on. after all, she did]

Avenging Angel
A/N: Whew chile it’s been a minute! I’m actually excited to continue to write for this series, as I’m getting more inspired! This is Ch. 9, and is not beta read. All mistakes are my own.
Warnings: Curse words, threatening violence, I think that’s it. As always, please leave some feedback! I appreciate all of your support!
Pairing: Winchesters x inhuman!reader, Avengers x inhuman!reader
Dean situated himself in the middle of a crossroads. “Crowley get your ass up here now!” “Really?” Dean turned to see the King of Hell looking unamused at his summoning. “What did moose do this time? Make a deal with the devil?” Crowley smirked. He knew exactly which buttons to push the eldest Winchester to the brink of insanity.
“It’s Y/N.” “Oohh, sounds delicious.” Dean’s jaw began to tick in irritation. “She’s pregnant.” Crowley gasped. “And you’re the father?!” “What? No!” “Oh. Oh! Sam’s the baby daddy!” “Can you shut up for five minutes or are you incapable of being utterly annoying?” “It’s a skill, squirrel.” Dean rolled his eyes. “Y/N’s pregnant with a nephilim.” Crowley was quiet for a minute. “Oh, so you can shut up.” “Of all the things I was expecting you to say, that was not one of them.”
Crowley walked closer to Dean. “And you want me to help. You do want to conspire, don’t you?” “No, I want you to sit there and look pretty. Yes I need your help!” Dean snapped. Crowley clasped his hands together. “Great! I’m assuming you’re driving?” Dean was on the verge of strangling the demon, but he knew that he had to make things right with Sam, Cas, you, everyone. He got in the car as he began to drive and tell Crowley everything.
Two hours later, and Dean was back at Stark Industries. He took a deep breath. He could do this. The two men walked in the expansive building and headed towards the elevators, and headed towards the very top of the skyscraper. As the elevator opened to where he had last left you, he saw everyone was still there, trying to come up with ways to help you.
The youngest Winchester stood up abruptly. “Dean! What the hell? Where have you been?” “Conspiring, moose. You should try it sometime.” Sam looked between his brother and the King in disbelief. “Nope. No way. He’s not going anywhere near her!” “Moose, we’ve been through this, haven’t we?” Crowley stared at Sam, daring him to defy his abilities.
“Who is this guy?” Tony asked. Crowley turned to face the billionaire. “Apologies, Mr. Stark. I’m Crowley.” He stuck his hand out for a handshake. “Yeah, okay. Why aren’t you able to be around Y/N?” Crowley smiled as he spoke. “I’m the King of Hell,” he said as his eyes turned red.
Steve and Bucky immediately shot up out of their seats, ready to fight. “Calm down, Barnes and Noble. I’m here to help Y/N. Not to cause her anymore harm.” “Why?” “Because it’s the right thing to do. Believe it or not, I actually care for her. You know, if I could have feelings.” Not everyone in the room looked convinced. Sam walked up to him. “Fine. But if you try anything, just know it’s not just me who will kick your sorry demonic ass to hell and back.” “Yes, yes. I love you too. Now, where is she?” “She’s right here.” You said calmly. A little too calm. “Y/N, what are you doing? You should be resting.” You smirked wickedly before your eyes turned black. You flicked your hands and sent everyone hurtling towards the ground in agonizing pain. “Now. Let’s talk, shall we?”
