By going to her, you control it and demonstrates your desire to work together and to be honest. Create a safe space for her. Be totally honest and say EVERYTHING. Don't leave anything out. It may be hard on her but she will appreciate your honesty

Give her time to process it all. It can take an hour or a month. Don't push her. Instead of support her. Act like when you first met her and romanced her. You are still you.

You have been living half a life. You deserve to live YOUR full life.
