Info: Bubbulita spends most of its lifespan living in the ocean, only leaving for dry land to breed and raise its young.
Baysee’s large bulbous nose can be inflated with air as a territorial display. Male Baysee with larger noses are seen as ideal mates by females of the species.
Weighing over 8,000 pounds, Meganeptune is one of the largest mammalian Water-type pokemon. They mercilessly attack anything they see as a threat using thier brute strength and sharp tusks.
Lotusquil is a docile pokemon mostly found living near small ponds in the forests of the Johto region. The flower on its back emits a refreshing scent that soothes the mind and spirit.
A shy pokemon that lives in the forest, Quilily spends most of its time foraging for nuts and berries to eat. When food is scarce, they resort to basking in the sun to absorb energy from its light.
Typhorest are often seen in myths as guardians of the forests they inhabit. These gentle giants have become increasingly rare due to the destruction of their homes by careless humans.
Smolderdile has a nasty bite that can cause a burning pain to spread throughout the body, starting from the location of said bite. It’s fires are constantly kept burning via a flammable chemical produced by glands on its back.
Despite its bulky appearance, Croconite are highly agile and can run at speeds of up to 40 mph when hunting prey. It’s bite sets fire to whatever it catches, cooking them alive in its jaws.
A deadly hunter, Devourgatr subdues its prey with its powerful bite and intense fire attacks. Even water types can be greatly injured by this pokemon’s flames.

usually in the fun little fics i've written for myself, my keykid crocus tends to swap between starlight and sleeping lion! crocus likes sleeping lion more for the aesthetics of it, but starlight is what his keyblade "truly" looks like, so to speak.
prior to what little we know of khml based on beta testing footage, i actually had a very vivid scene in my mind (which i did write up as a 2.1k fic for myself for fun) of how aconite's keyblade manifesting being a major stressor for them. the idea that their keyblade might still manifest as starlight, even in this new life, and it somehow marking them as an 'other' because it's a keyblade very distinctly from the age of fairy tales. you know how it is when you're eleven years old and having a keyblade bequeathed to you but you're so, so afraid of getting caught being something you aren't that's out of your control.
needless to say, it was a major relief when their heart listened to them and they manifested fortune gear (a 'scala-era appropriate' keyblade in my mind) instead.
Which Keyblade(s) does your keykid wield?
Do they have a unique Keyblade, or use one of the in-game ones? Do they have Keychains they don't use much?

crocus! at least during the events of both χ and union cross. he hasn't gone by anything prior, when he transitioned he decided to keep his birth name, since he liked it a lot & i don't see a lot of transgender characters who do keep their birth names. so i thought it'd be a fun change of pace. :)
then, you know, the whole reincarnation thing happened, and my keykid upon being reborn is aconite! it's actually one half of a "matching" set of names, since before [REDACTED FOR KHML LEAK SPOILERS] was revealed, i was really attached to the idea of player reincarnating as part of a set of twins. the contrast between someone who is burdened by the memories of a previous life & their sibling who is ostensibly a normal kid who was indoctrinated into scalan society and really bought into the light/dark dichotomy is interesting. anyway, the two twins were named dahlia and aconite. their parents had no idea they were having twins, and... whoops! named one after a plant that symbolizes justice and named the other after wolfsbane.
...and, you know, if someone's name in both of the lives they've lived is the same as a poisonous flower, don't worry about it too much!
What is your keykid’s name?
Does it mean anything special? Have they ever gone by other names in the past?
