I really loved being Bismuth in overalls! It was slightly more casual and I had so many pockets!! I hope in the movie we get to see her whole outfit. Day 162 since I last wore my big buff lady and I miss her. It’s funny how some cosplays end up meaning a lot to you . Bismuth is the one I learned a lot with, I learned just about everything I now know about body paint because of her and I found out about armsocks doing research for her (lifesaving hack for colorful characters, without which I would just die). I’ve bis-missed being Bismuth. Sadly for AnimeUSA I was having some bad headache days due to my period and I couldn’t muster up the strength and energy to wear her heavy wig. And I have a feeling she won’t be on my lineup for Katsu either so I’ll be missing her. . I’d love to remake her boots before the next time I wear her though, I crocheted boots for her for the first time but I didn’t like how they came out. They weren’t as tight as I wanted them and I’d like to try again. . Do you guys have cosplays like that? That you miss when you don’t get to wear them but they also bring you pain to wear them? I ended up not wearing Bismith to #AnimeUSA and I missed her. But I was on my period and was having terrible headaches and I couldn’t have worn her so I had to skip her this time around. But there’s always the next weekend con 👍👍 I seriously love her overall look, it’s surprisingly comfy to wear around. I’m painting her star on the back, which I was excited to spot in the movie (though I was secretly hoping for stars on the butt pockets)! Some #cosplaydetails for the Bismuth crocheted pieces. I don't usually get pictures from the back or the side so this was a fun photo to get, you can really see the wig here and I love it. The details are close ups of the wig and the gem. At Otakon we *had* to take some pictures in the convention center by these Pixar looking lamp lights posing like some toys! 😂 It's becoming a tradition every con we go there. I went with the classic action figure while my sister took the barbie pose.
