A velociraptor for another little cousin. This is his favorite animal paired with his favorite color. When I was wrapping it, I decided I couldn't wrap it to keep the legs and tail safe from being squished before he got it. Soooo... I got a cardboard box, punched holes in it all over with some scissors, drew on scratch marks on the inside of the box with a sharpie, and wrote on the box stuff like, "DANGER," "KEEP OUT," etc. On the wrapping paper, I put some "this side up" arrows lol. Although my cousin didn't care about the box or anything, my older cousins LOVED the additional details 😊

hi hi! i just saw that you were doing matchups for hazbin, and i wanted to send something in!! this is my first time sending in anything like this on tumblr, so hoping i’m doing this right!!

✧ i’m genderfluid, and i’m generally more interested in men than i am women

✧ i’m ambiverted - i was raised in a way that made me a bit socially isolated, so i have issues with being social today. i don’t really know how to introduce myself to people, so i don’t speak to people unless they speak to me first. when it’s someone new, i usually let them lead the conversation, but when i’m comfortable with someone, i talk a lot more - i’ll tell them random stories i remember, and infodump about my current interest, run down the entire plot of the book i’m currently reading, all of that. my brain goes faster than my mouth a lot of the time, and i have trouble putting my thoughts and feelings into words.

✧ my style is all over the place. the most common color in my wardrobe is black, because mixing and matching colors kinda stresses me out. not to mention what i wear in my day to day can change depending on where i feel on the gender spectrum at any given time. my default is combat boots and (faux) leather jacket + gold rings and earrings

✧ my main love languages are acts of service (receiving) and gift giving (giving) - making people stuff is a sort of hobby of mine. i crochet a lot, and i love love love making people plushies <3 a lot of the time i’ll even start a craft project that i don’t even really want to keep and put it away in a stash of stuff to give to other people when the opportunity arises

✧ i bounce hobbies a lot, but the main ones that have stuck with me over a long period of time are drawing/animating and reading

✧ i have obsessive-compulsive disorder. there are certain topics/words i absolutely cannot say due to my ocd labeling it as taboo, and it’s made me a very superstitious person

✧ i cycle through interests a lot lot lot, but animation (both itself and as an industry) have been my main one for a while now. currently, i’m also really into dinosaurs and jurassic park! (fun fact, the velociraptor in jurassic park ought to be closer to the size they depict the dilophosaurus, and the dilophosaurus ought to be closer to the size they depict the velociraptor!)

Luci is a bit socially isolated too haha, as he sits at home and makes ducks all day

Speaking of, you two have your fair share of grandma-grandpa hobbies that you do together (crochet, knitting, etc)

He loves trying new hobbies with you, it keeps you entertained since your hobbies bounce back a lot, and it gets him out of his comfort zone

Also, he loves reading to you, he will do a bunch of silly voice for all the characters XD

You both just tend to info dump about your favorite topics to eachother, which Lucifer loves, no one really listens to his odd rambles, so the fact that you do is very heartwarming💕

I am currently watching Prehistoric Planet while crocheting and as soon as the velociraptor came on screen I basically went '!!! !!!!! !!!!!!!! It's Lise, it's Lise's little buddy, hello little buddy', which I figured you'd get a kick out of 😆

i have this sweatshirt i got handed down from my uncle and it's been my favourite shirt to sleep in!! it's just comfy!! perfectly oversized, so soft and i feel really cute in it! it has little holes but i don't mind since it's my pjs C: it's either that or there's also a Freddie Mercury T-shirt from I Want To Break Free music video!! it has holes too sadly, but it's a recent development i would say

paper - favorite children’s book?

ooo! that's an interesting one!! there were tons and tons that were read to me and that i adored, like Winnie the Pooh and etc. But the one i remember loving the longest was The Secret of the White Cat by Käthe Recheis and Friedl Hofbauer!! it's a collection of cat-themed fairytales from all over the world!! you can tell that cats were my special interest lol

plush - how many stuffed animals do you still own?

oh lord, i have so many lol ok so i'm not going to count the little one tsum tsums cause i honest to God i have no idea how many i have lol

but anyway! i have two ikea brown bears plushies (one's mine and the other one my youngest bro gave to me cause he didn't have room for it anymore), two dinosaur plushies - velociraptor and brachiosaurus from ikea too, a Catbus plushie from My Neighbour Totoro, Piglet plushie that @kozlatko gave me for my birthday this year (C:<3), a little cat squishmallow and a weighted hedgehog plushie Kozlatko gave me too!! also i have a big tsum tsum of Simba my friends got me on my 18th birthday, rat plushie from ikea, three reversible plushies - one skeleton cat and two octopuses, one crocheted octopus @mx-slut-supreme made for me (C:<3)!! Also i have a plushie of the main character from Journey from a con, but idk if that counts? and that's about it....

oh! i know he doesn't count as a stuffed animal, but he's an animal to me: i also have a Dabi plushie

so in total that's 15/16? i'm so normal about the textures and plushies : )

i just. im making this christmas velociraptor for school crochet club cuz we are making decorations and dinosaurs my special interest and i find this amazing pattern shoutout to crafty intentions. and i spend a week on the first part bc i think im so smart so tough the pattern is wrong not me... but alas. idk why im sending this good luck on whatever ur working on queen

i'm looking at her ravelry account rn her stuff is sooo cool ◉_◉ i don't see the specific one you're talking about, but it all looks very intricate and something i'd probably struggle with as well so good luck lol. i've been slacking on my projects because i got discouraged when the sock i made for my mom didn't even fit over her heel -_- the yarn's a pain to rip out too. ah well.
