I tried out a new ducky pattern. This was supposed to be a strawberry ducky, but it came out looking more like a tomato. Ha ha ha! The pattern is from Monkey House Crochet Patterns.

I know this isn’t my usual content but I thought some of you might appreciate my Ducky Momo pinafore dress (just finished today!) :)

A little bit of process stuff under the cut!

Here’s my concept! I ended up just using cotton for all the features and haven’t had the chance to add the duck feet pockets yet (and I’m not planning on doing that until October lol I’m done with sewing for a bit)

My pattern piece for the face!! I did a lot of measuring and I know the face ended up a little on the high side but I still like it :)

Here’s some process shots of the face before it was done + before it was attached to the skirt! Adding that line of darker orange thread between the upper and lower beak was EXACTLY what it needed!

And that’s it! I’m not the best at remembering to take process pictures I just go go go skfjdjk

I know that there is a company that makes rubber duck versions of popular TV show characters, but, they don’t make the whole cast. So, I am remedying this issue. @wilwheaton Wesley is coming, I just need to figure out if I should recreate the classic striped jumper or should I put him in his Cadet uniform?

I am not immune to Complicated Knots' owl bear plush pattern. Sure he's a lil crooked and his head is too tall but at least I got him done!

THERE WAS A STORE THAT SELLS THOSE 20CM DRESS UP DOLLS AND THEIR OUTFITS WHILE I WAS IN CHINA FOR THE LUNAR NEW YEAR LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO

The og lil guy (+ nakey to show the anemo symbol on his chest)

The shark fit was an absolutely amazing investment 10/10 it looks so good with his hair he is so fucking cute I cannot take it

Also different shoes bc the outfit came with a pair but I also specifically got the shark crocs for this

Same with the shark crocs the froggie shoes are separate but they pair so well with the outfit <3

Also that's a headband but in my heart it's also a sleeping mask for the eepy

He doesn't have synthetic hair to slip the flowers onto like some other dolls do but the little bits of hair on the side and his braids work fine

I wish I got more outfits with pants tbh but most of the clothes were feminine or didn't quite fit his vibe + the dress and hanfu are so venti coloured how could I not lmao

That being said venti being the gnc icon they are would wear dresses too trust me I'm the flower hairclip
