Crocfoo and I were challenging each other to video games throughout the night. However, during one game, I felt sleepy and accidentally fell asleep on my rival. Whoops! :D
This idea came from an old pal from my early ask blog days! We were talking about characters when he proposed this idea. I thought it was cute, so I drew it out!

I had a little fun with numbers. Someone calculated the stats of their fusion, and I was like "huh, I want to do that too!" They balanced it to just be the total of their stronger fusion part, but I wanted to make my fusions a bit... stronger.
Usually, 405 is the base total for the Johto middle-evo starters, so I raised up the base total of each of the Pokémon my fusions were connected to to 405. Then I took the highest stat from each of these starters. While the average between all the base total of the "Highest of Stats" is 446, I rounded it up to 450 and had it balance off there for the final stats.
As you can see, I, Zorquil, am the best attacker with high speed, special attack, and good attack. Defenses and HP are pretty low though.
Crocfoo is also pretty strong at physical attacks, but not so much for special. He's also good at tanking physical hits and has a decent speed! Not so good at special stuff though.
Elgleef is a pretty strong special attacker and is the more defensive of the three. Speed is really slow, but she makes up for it by being decent to good in overall stats.
This was a fun experiment. :>

After I fell asleep on Crocfoo by accident, he decided to use me as the controller instead, disturbing my slumber! Pulling me into his lap, poking and prodding at my belly and chest, giving me soft flicks of his claws... Argh, it feels so good! But I also just want to sleep too...

Remember these sketches? Welp, I decided to make Crocfoo a reference sheet! His design is subject to change in the future when I draw him more, but for now, this is his current design and colors! Now my rival can bully me as much as he wants!
Alt Text: The text on the top says Crocfoo (Rival). He/Them. Meinfoo + Croconaw Hybrid. Type: Water/Fighting. There's a color palette for the body and eyes, where the body has maroon, peach, and gray, while the eyes are black, white, and maroon. The character has a three-point scale on the top of its head with bear ears and gray eyebrow markings. He is angy with one single tooth sticking out. His arms have maroon markings like sleeves and he has five claws. He has a gray sash across his lower chest and a peach tunic-like body. There are three jagged holes in the front and two jagged holes in the back, showing maroon. He also have two long maroon scales poking from his upper and middle back, and a long peach tail with a single maroon diamond scale sticking out of it. He also has maroon legs with a shape similar to a Riolu.

Whenever I play a Pokémon game, usually I give the rival the nickname "Crocfoo" (used to be Mienaw before deciding that was dumb) since I saw Croconaw and Mienfoo as something a rival would choose against Quilava and Zorua. I finally felt inspired enough to make some concept art to make Crocfoo an actual design! When I was drawing these sketches, it felt like Mienfoo had bear qualities while Croconaw had more dragonic qualities when combining the two.
Anyway, let's do a bit of character building! Crocfoo is one who is more aggressive and irate. He usually have more angry eyes, but he's a softie… Well, if you can get through the layers of aggression. He's also quite prideful in his power and glory, tending to be more cruel towards me since I'm considered "weaker" than he is. Though I usually just ignore him, though that sometimes provokes him into punting me into the sun.
I had a bit of struggle deciding how to incorporate Croconaw into Mienfoo, but I'm pleased with the current draft so far. I decided to make Croconaw's egg shell into a type of tunic design and just give his hands, tail, and scales. Then the rest would be Mienfoo with the head and legs, along with the inspiration for the tunic since it looks like it has an oversized shirt on.
We'll see if I draw him more in the future (and in color). For now, I'm just glad to get a design idea for him!

I mentioned before that Crocfoo has a soft side, and you can find him at his softest when he visits the daycare to play with the children there. The children adore him for being the big "scary" bear! Here, these two brave "warriors" are taking down this frightening foe and succeeding with a bunch of Nuzzles! And he's paralyzed and unable to move. Guess the children wins! And he's quite proud of these two having such a strong amount of electricity enough to paralyze and take him down.

Tickletober Day 3 - Chase
Let me be free! It's Day 3!
I managed to escape Crocfoo's grasp, but he wasn't letting me go that easily. Him being a fighting-type that regularly trains, he easily caught up to me and tripped me up, grabbing my arm and tickling in my pit! Why did he have to be so good at takedowns like this?
(Notice: I'm drawing all these prompts in 30 minutes or less with little corrections, so I didn't have time to fix the size of Crocfoo's head. I focused more on getting the pose right and rushed the coloring at the tail-end. Lineart is hard...)

Tickletober Day 7 - Arms Up
The bread is leaven! Go, Day 7!
Can you tell Crocfoo was a last-minute addition during the 30 minutes I had? That arm is so bad...
Time for the next part of my prank! I invited Crocfoo to the fun, saying that Elgleef is testing a Tickle Resist Potion. As I know how much Crocfoo's claws tickle and how good it feels, I knew it would be the best for getting Elgleef to squeal! So, I told Elgleef that I would hold her arms up, and she complied, thinking that we were testing the duration of the potion. And, of course, the first instance of Crocfoo's claws made impact, she began to laugh like crazy!
After a little bit of tickling, she started enjoying herself. Once the tickling session was done (which was short, to my dismay), she admitted the feeling of Crocfoo's claws was just too good. And I have to agree!
But I'm not done with her yet. I will have to prank her again sometime! Well... After I get punished since Elgleef figured out my prank...

Got Dewott on the wheel this time!
Crocfoo goes to a dojo to train, and sometimes he messes around with other dojo goers. This Dewott, in particular, somehow got his poor paw stuck in a wall, and Crocfoo decided to have a little fun tickling it. Now the Dewott is doing everything he can to pry his paw away. In a way, it's a type of training with Dewott strengthening balance with one paw up, so the dojo is still being used properly I suppose!

Welp, first true art of Elgleef, and it's tickle art. Amazing. XD
Elgleef, being the scientist she is, wanted to research some mysterious happenings within one of the snowlands. She recruited Crocfoo and I to escort her since both of us have a type-advantage over ice-types. While we both are rivals against each other, Crocfoo is a friend to Elgleef, so he and I didn't butt heads like usual. When we arrived, she laid out all possibilities of intrusions that may occur based on her Future Sight.
Of course, I'm a dark-type, so she can't predict things as clearly when I'm around. And she doesn't know my luck. I'm a magnet for getting into ticklish situations. A Froslass snuck behind me and used Sheer Cold, taking me out instantly. I suppose the other two were knocked out at some point as we were all stuck into snowballs in a pile with our feet/paws stuck out of them. And soon, icicles began tracing our soles.
However, Elgleef is still quite rational and had a plan in mind. I shake around as much as I can to make the head of the snowman fall off and I use my fire to melt Crocfoo out. Of course, I'm having trouble hearing her over my laughter, yet I'm still executing at least one part of the plan unintentionally!

Tickletober Day 2 - Poking
Going on through! It's Day 2!
Crap. Yesterday's hypnosis... make me more ticklish today. And, to my horror, Crocfoo discovered out how more ticklish I was than usual and took advantage of it. This "poke"mon pinned me down and began to poke at my paws, making me squeal like crazy! But because of how relaxed the hypnosis made me during tickling, my body is still under the influence, not even twitching or squirming... and it's just making it even worse! If Crocfoo went further and dug all his claws in, I'll probably die from laughter!
I swear I'll escape...

Tickletober Day 4 - Plants
Time for more! It's Day 4!
Crocfoo was chasing me and managed to get a hold of me a few times, but I finally made a break into a forest that had caught me a while back. And, to my luck, Crocfoo ended up getting caught by vines and tickled by leaves! And I didn't! How often does that hap-EEP!
... Nevermind, I just got caught by vines off-screen...

"I haven't drawn any tickle art for a while! I'll just take it easy and draw a simple Riolu and Vulpix in the stocks being tickled on their paws!" Nope, added a background and a bunch of other things.
These two are quite the troublemakers. One keeps setting things on fire around the house while the other keeps accidentally smashing things. And if you think it's the Vulpix burning things, you would be wrong! Riolu has Blaze Kick as a egg move and keeps burning the floors and carpets. Meanwhile, Vulpix rests in the most strangest places and keeps kicking things off windowsills and counters.
So, as punishment, their trainer put them into stocks and tied their toes back with some steel wire, making sure that neither of them would escape. And, just to add insult to injury, the trainer also disabled their moves, so no fire from either of them! To start things out, they get their defenseless paws feathered, but with all those other tools in the cup, they're not getting out anytime soon!
---
Also, apologies for not getting the Crocfoo prompt thing posted last Saturday! I've started getting really busy and lost motivation and drive to work on it. I'll be posting it when I get to it, but right now, I'm adjusting to the new workload (music stuff and work, mostly). I have the prompt chosen though, and I'm planning on two panels for it!

Time to complete the cycle! In games where I have two rivals that can be named, I usually name the third character Elgleef, which is a combination of Bayleef and Elgyem! It's to be the grass and psychic-type to Crocfoo's water and fighting-type (Croconaw + Mienfoo), and I'm strong against both of Elgleef's types (Zorquil = Quilava + Zorua) being fire and dark-type! When drawing Elgleef's design, I found it difficult to figure out how to make it more appealing to me, and I found myself kinda mimicking the style of Gimmighoul... and a bit of Elmer, the dragon from "My Father's Dragon". I want to make her neck longer, but I am struggling to get it looking right.
So, Elgleef was a character I was figuring out personality-wise as well. I was debating whether to make her outwardly soft or if I wanted to try another personality. I ended up making her more of a cold and serious character with a passion for chemistry/alchemy. She rarely shows a smile, and is more oblivious to social things, such as Crocfoo's crush on her. Also, don't get in the way of her work.
This one was a lot of fun drawing out! I made the leaf on her head like this to represent the "Y" on Elgyem's head, then gave two of Bayleef's neck leaves to represent the curves around the Y. The curved lines around her arms, neck, legs, tail, and belly were just taken from Elgyem, though I added a few more to make the design better. She also has Elgyem's hands and... "fingers"? I guess? I made it so vines can shoot out of them, but also be a source of psychic energy. And then both have a small tail, so she just gets a smol tail! Then I gave her the feet of Bayleef.
To be honest, I had the struggle designing her with Bayleef qualities and had more fun putting in Elgyem stuff. Which is ironic, since I have the opposite problem where I had trouble putting in Zorua qualities onto Quilava. :> Can't wait to see what colors Elgleef will have!

"Ooookay. This works... I guess."
A Swampert of a rival group tried invading Elgleef's laboratory trying to obtain her recent creation, the Super Scarf (name pending). This scarf is quite a powerful item as it raises up Attack, Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense. However, he was easily taken care of by Elgleef because why would you send someone four times weak to grass to steal from a grass-type? He was easily captured, but Elgleef knew she needed to get to the bottom of this.
Of course, after her ticklish interrogation, she had the fun idea to tickle interrogate Swampert (probably because she's researching my tickle curse). Not even 2 minutes in before he broke and started telling her everything. So now, we know it's Team Muddy Water behind this failed heist. They wanted the item to show up Team Trailblazers. And that Swampert wanted to make Crocfoo angry since he defeated his team to getting to the end of Drizzle Path and claiming the treasure before them.
Well, he failed spectacularly. He didn't get the item, Team Trailblazers showed up Team Muddy Water again, and Crocfoo mocked Swampert for even trying to steal from Elgleef in the first place and that he was defeated so easily by tickling. Also, the Super Scarf is still in beta, so it could easily backfire and lower the holder's stats, so perhaps it was for the best Swampert failed.
-----
Starting to get back into the groove of art again, and this was requested by a friend. I decided to also make an alt of Swampert trapped in vines and tickled in a forest setting for him. :>

After finding out about Elgleef's quick escape, the dark-type part of me felt devious. I wanted her to know longer tickling, so I decided to hack into her robot to make it a tickling bot, then reset the password so she wouldn't be able to easily escape the tickles as well!
However, two things were flawed. One: I'm not a programmer. With the code I found online, it had no set target except for the first one it saw. And two... I forgot the password. So I am getting tickled like crazy trying to figure out the password.
Of course, Elgleef heard my laughter and came to see what was going on. What's infuriating is that her first question wasn't "What the heck is going on?" or "Why is my robot tickling you?" Instead, she stated, "Of course this happened to you somehow." Like she wasn't even surprised I was getting tickled by her robot!
She did manage to free me after figuring out what the password would be. (5000, because my favorite number is 50 and she assumed I just put in two extra zeros.) And she apparently knows I'm somehow a tickle magnet after Crocfoo told her about it, along with her recent experience. My only luck is that she just thinks her robot malfunctioned, so I'm clear for now.
So, while I still have the element of surprise, I will find a way to tickle Elgleef! Just with things I actually know more about.
