Critship basically just means you might talk about that stuff, you might not, but you understand it can exist you just have to consume it critically (I actually could give less of a shit but our system does so)

Critfic/Critship

Critfiction, which also may be referred to as "critship" is a ideological label for those who are critically pro-artistic freedom.

Critfiction involves the focus on understanding the nuances of fiction and how it reflects our reality, and how it may affect individual people, namely marginalized people, such as disabled, neurodivergent, queer, indigenous and people of color.

Critfiction involves viewing fiction and art through a critical lens.

Critfiction understands that fiction does not affect reality on a 1:1 scale, however fiction is capable leaving impressions on the individual person.

Through being critical of the art and material one consumes, those who are critfiction analyze the existence of political themes and underlying propaganda that may push bigotry. One who is critfiction is willing to discuss and criticize such themes, and how they affect marginalized peoples.

Critfiction is against bigotry of all forms.

Critfiction is supportive of dark fiction and exploration of fantasies that one would otherwise not participate in or condone in real life.

Critfiction is inherently against causing harm towards real living beings. Abusive behavior and harassment, including sexual harassment, along with parasocial behaviors are not tolerated by those with this ideology.

Critfiction promotes curating your online experience, but also frowns upon disrespecting the boundaries of other individuals.

It is important to note that the coining of this label is entirely self indulgent and not meant to replace any existing terms. This term is NOT for "antis" or people who harm others for their fictional interests. Critfiction is inherently a form of anti-harassment. If you participate in harassment or abusive behavior of any form, this term is not for you. Critfiction is explicitly against bigotry and racism. If you engage in or endorse racist behaviors, this term is not for you. Critfiction is explicitly anti-ableism. If you engage in or endorse ableist or sanist behaviors, this term is not for you. Critfiction does not tolerate the sexualization of real life people who are not consenting, whether it be through writing, art mediums or other forms of "fan work."
