I see a lot of people adopt "I'm better than you because I doesen't care so much" attitude about Aziraphale's defense squad (tm) and like. People does actually aware that there's no squad, right? That it's just a phrase that was used ironicly so much that it ended as tag which is both a joke and a nice way to filter some information, like, to easily see if someone already bitched about bad take of the day?

I feel like Onpu Segawa from Ojamajo Doremi is Shizoid (do NOT confuse with shizophrenic)

Part of her character development is that she thought she didn't need friends until she met Doremi and co. The show implies that that's because shes an idol. But you see, there are plenty of child stars who have friends and naturally crave friendship. I don't think Onpu's premature career in the industry is the root of problem

I see parallels between Onpu and shizoids:

- on the outside, she's too emotionless for her age (9-12 years old) and her voice sounds monotonous even when she's acting out dramatic scenes in the movies (try listening to her japanese voice lines carefully - there's barely any expressiveness when Onpu's supposedly really upset or happy)

- however, she's good at acting with her face and body language, which is probably the exact thing that helps her get by in the acting career. Shizoids can train themselves to specifically imitate emotions for certain occasions, and it might even look pretty natural, but in normal everyday life they relapse into their emotionless state

- she is distant from others and obviously has trouble expressing/understanding how she feels or showing affection to others. It's even a point of the conflict in an episode of Sharp (2nd season) where Aiko and others are bothered by how they can never tell what Onpu is thinking about or how she feels about something

- Onpu is definitely not an evil girl, she shows empathy and acts heroic at her best moments (like forcing herself to eat her unfavourite food, a bell pepper, to encourage a baby girl to try some too, for her health). However, Onpu is insensitive about a lot of things both before and after joining Doremi's team (like openly ignoring the effort the girls made to give her a book to communicate with them while she's at work, AND telling them about it directly, which offends them) (or attempting to abandon her fans after she caused them to start fighting and feeling guilty only when Doremi and Aiko shame her for that). And Onpu's insensitive comments keep shocking even Aiko, the most brutally honest girl in the cast. Shizoids have trouble not being selfish as they generally lack understanding of other people's needs and emotions, or sometimes they simply lack the desire/energy to do that, which makes shizoids appear uncaring

- she barely reacts to praise or critisizm over the course of the show, compared to Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko or Momoko. On the outside, it appears as if nothing ever bothers or attracts Onpu, all her reactions to how people are interacting with her being somewhat automatic and artificial

- and, of course, Onpu's low desire for friendship and group activities. Her not wanting any friends prior to the show's events is one thing (it took her to meet a highly empathic, charismatic and heroic person like Doremi to get inspired and start opening up to the idea of friendship). And she generally doesn't have any problem with not being able to accompany Doremi and the others all the time due to her work. Onpu doesn't express any disappointment about that, excusing herself to leave the Mahou Dou early with an unbothered smile on her face... until the others tell Onpu that they had some kind of fun without her. Only then, due to the outer influence, does Onpu feel a bit upset about not being part of the team at those very moments. Shizoids can have awareness/guilt moments when someone tells them that their detachment from other people is not normal

So yeah, I found a magical girl representation of my disorder!

(I've been displaying traits of being shizoid since young age, so I know how the cookie crumbles - I've been accused of acting selfish and unfeeling and it took me a long time to learn to care about others and emote to them on a basic level, and it's still not enough uwu)

A dainty, well-mannered little lady. Being curious in music, she's also very afraid to recieve critisizm if she hums a tune, let alone sings or plays an instrument, after the stuff she's been taught in family. This whole Lewis and Max comparison is getting so fucking annoying. As a fan of both of them, I see that both sides have some fanatics who get offended by everything. You’re not allowed to mention them in the same sentence without someone getting angry. People mistake constuctive critisizm or just speaking facts for hate.

Lewis is the reasn that I fell in love with this sport, and I hope that sometime in future he gets his 8th championship. But Max is a future of F1 and such a talent. I enjoy Redbull domination today as much as I enjoyed Mecedes’ few years ago.

I think thats what we should concentrate on, the game, the way than they drive AND that we get to witness two GOATs in the same era.

I haven’t ever compared them, and I think it’s completely useless to do so. They’re different people, I don’t even see enough similarities between them to begin to liken them to each other in a way that has any merit. It’s so random to me.
