Headcanons for Dawn noticing May and Serena having feelings for each other and setting them up on a date?

Dawn liked to think of herself as a people person, so of course she noticed that May and Serena clearly had feelings for each other! They hardly needed to say a word about it.

Serena was a little more obvious about it than May was, but Dawn also knew May for a while longer and knew what to look for. So to her, it was the makings for a perfect match.

Setting them up was another challenge. She tried just telling them to ask the other out, but neither Serena nor May thought the other reciprocated their feelings. Which, admittedly, got a little frustrating.

Eventually, Dawn settled on a plan to just have them in the same place at the same time with a nice romantic setting and hope that one of them would finally say something. There was only so much she could do.

Thankfully, that was just what was needed. When she saw them next, they were holding hands and laughing together. Dawn counted that as another job well done on her end!

Would anyone be interested in beta reading for a Satogou story I've been working on for a while?

It switches POV between Ash and Goh, and is about them traveling on their own and figuring themselves out, while meeting friends along the way.

The goal is to have an appearance from every companion and give them each some focus, so feedback about characterization would be especially helpful because I really want to do them all justice.

(There's also going to be some CrimsonVelvetshipping.)

So far the first two chapters, focused only on Ash and Goh, are ready and they're at 2500 - 3000 words each. I'm not sure when the other chapters will be ready, or what the total word count will end up being (right now I have a total of 17,000 words for everything), but I think there's going to be at least 15 chapters by the end.

Why they chose the "homophobic" part of Pokémon I don't understand, she is one of the most lovely people I know and HOMOPHOBIA is not one of the reasons (she is one of the characters with the most sapphic ships in the anime after Dawn)

It's not really about just "CrimsonVelvetShipping" or "May" but we have: Botiqueshipping, FondantShipping, Ringleshipping RollerShipping, FancyFashionShipping, AuldShipping +that we have long before May and Serena too)

can we stop saying that serena would be bitter and jealous and rude towards goh because honestly that’s extremely out of character for her. yes, she has a crush on ash, but loving someone means that you care about them enough to want to see them happy. if ash was happy with goh, then serena would be happy too. she loves him enough to want to see him happy. plus, she’s a lot more mature now, and i wouldn’t be surprised if she’s moved on, especially with a certain coordinator (cough cough may cough cough). so yeah, i digress, serena probably wouldn’t send ash’s boyfriend death threats, and im really sick of seeing her characterized like this.

Absolutely! I really like both of them so much ^_^

Lisia had introduced the two of them to each other when they were both in Hoenn, and it wasn’t long before they became friends. And not long after that, they fell for each other.

They actually found out about their common ties through Ash only when they met up with Dawn, who brought him up. That was after they’d already started catching feelings for each other.

For Serena, there was a while where she had to really do her best to get over her feelings for Ash, since she also had feelings for May at that point and it seemed like May would accept if Serena asked her out.

She mostly talked herself through everything, envisioning what it would be like to date May instead of holding on to her old feelings. And she eventually came up with a plan to ask May out.

May ended up asking her out first, though, since May was a bit bolder than Serena in that department. Their first date was so much fun, that neither of them could wait for their next one!
