what are the best horror movies?

oh my god how do i choose.. the "best" is far too much pressure on me so here are just a few that i like very very much

1) POSSESSION i think this is high art i think this is shakespearean

2) psycho. this is a good movie because of anthony perkins. a closeted gay actor in the 60s playing a character whose main theme is being trapped by what he feels he has to be? this film would be nothing without him lets be honest

3) saw. no this is not a good movie yes its required watching. wesley from the princess bride saws his own foot off

4) hellraiser 3. this is a good movie because i think its a tragic romance between two women and also you find out the infamous pinhead was in the vietnam war. what more could you ask for

5) crimson peak. this is a stupid addition because everyone knows this movie rules.

im not even adding Us to the list because thats too obvious. if you havent seen us go watch that right now. i will come over to your house and turn it on for you if you havent seen it yet.

also shallow grave is more of a thriller but everyone needs to watch that movie as well just trust me with that one. its my phone lockscreen. anyways sorry im clearly the worst at lists and reasons. thank you for being brave enough to ask me a simple question
