So last Thursday while listening to a dumpster fire of a city council meeting I finally finished snoopy. But first I had to feel like Frankenstein.

I recently made something really, really cool. I posted about my giant African flower hexagon triceratops on here a while ago, but I recently made a mini version with crichet thread! It turned out so cute!

One time, I crocheted a collar and it's very soft, unlike leather or other materials.
You need to make chains until you reach your desired length (wrap it around your neck to check) and then do half double crichet until you resch the width that you want your collar to be.
I think that there are tutorials on YouTube on how to do basic crochet stiches.
I generally recommend crocheting, it's really fun :)
puppy/dog/pet ppl: does anyone have any tips for finding a subtle collar to wear day to day? or more of a subtle necklace in place of a collar? (my neck is too sensitive for tight things)

Another one with single crochet for most of it.
You start by chaining 3, then doing your first double crochet into the first chain. You can also do two rows of single crochet here (by chaining two and then going into the first stitch), but this way feels faster.
Download the text version for free, or leave a tip, on itch.io!

[ID: A visual crochet pattern showing a thunb and forefinger holding a rainbow hackysack from the side, with photos of the top and bottom above and below, with arrows pointing at the different sections and listing out the instructions, with "size 5mm hook" noted next to a blue star. The top of the ball begins with red yarn, with 11 double crochets in a circle, listed as "11DC". Then, still with red, you do two single crochets into each stitch, listed as "2x SC each stitch". After this are orange, yellow, green, and blue stripes, each made up of "1z sc each stitch", or a single crochet for each stitch. Below these the end of the ball is dark purple, made with single crochets, and single crochets-two-togethers, with a visual pattern on the left showing the first row of purple is two single crichets, one two-together, two single crochets, one two together, ectcetera. The next row is one single crochet, one two-together, one single crochet, one two-together, ectcetera. An arrow off to the side instructs, "fill now". The last row is nothing but two-togethers, with smaller text below instructing for the end: Cut tail. Pull thru 1 loop on each stitch, pulling towards center. Pull to close. Slip stitch to secure. Weave in. End ID.]
I'm filling them with canna lily seeds since I have access to tons of them, but you can also use beans, popcorn kernels, or any other hard seed. You can also use plastic pellets, but that's obviously not good for the environment.
If you're in a gardening zone where you can grow canna lilies, you can grow them in a container or in the ground.
Look for canna lilies with simple, thin red flowers for the best chances of pollination. Canna lilies with variegated leaves seem to be almost impossible to get pollinated naturally...and I don't know how you hand pollinate them. You can also try "fancier" flowered ones, as long as they set seed well.
When grown from seed, they can start flowering within five months of germinating, which is absurdly fast, considering they're perennials!
