From the gorgeous details (how cool is that merry-go-round horse centerpiece!) to making the shoot come alive with a bride and groom, the styled shoot at the Crested Butte Music Festival’s Mirror Palace was so much fun! A special thanks to our models Stephanie + Seth Tribbey for being such great sports (and kissing a lot!) Stephanie’s flawless makeup and hair was done by The Beauty Creation. Her amazing bouquet was created by Rocky Mountain Rose out of Gunnison. Her stunning dress was provided by Annalise Bridal out of Grand Junction, and her gorgeous sapphire ring was provided by Roam Fine Goods. Seth’s handsome suit was provided by Menguin. The delicious (we got to test them!) macarons were made by the talented Wildflour Sweets. And like we mentioned in the last post, none of this would have happened without the always on-point, Ciera, from Lucky Penny Event Planning!

Bike Week Rolls into Crested Butte Today!

Join Crested Butte for Bike Week this week, June 22-25, 2017, the world’s oldest mountain bike festival in the home of mountain biking! Hosted by the Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce, CB Bike week is now "a 4-day celebration of all things mountain bike in the Gunnison Valley."

The slogan for this year’s Bike Week is "bikes, live music, good beer." Executive Director of the Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce Ashely Upchurch shared her excitement with us, “I'm super excited to be playing a larger role in the Chamber as the new director, and it's fitting that this will be my first event in this role as it's my favorite! Anything to ring in summer is great in my book.” The week is complete with a 'thigh-burner' of singletrack race, the Fat Tire 40, clinics, a Film Festival, the Chainless World Championships, beer, and a fantastic party. “Obviously I'm particularly looking forward to the Chainless on Friday, but the Fat Tire 40 party is also a blast! The film fest is on Friday night at 6:30 p.m., and it's a great collaboration of bike videos. All in all, we're looking forward to a spectacular long weekend of bikes and parties!” Ashley said.
