Repost from @rebeccataylorhair using @RepostRegramApp - This was my rendition of ‘autumn tones’ for @shatter85 yesterday 🍁⁣ Finished with this two step process in just about 4-ish hours (with photos) JUST in time for an exciting/inspiring business meeting with @iamthe1whoknocks and new friends last night. Yesterday was just a good damn day..all the way around 🙏🏼⁣ Now for more model lewks and a full house at @honeyhairlab today...then the madness that is October/traveling begins and I start basically living out of a suitcase. But I CANNOT wait 😬⁣ ⁣ K, back to the details of Ashley’s ‘do-⁣ ⁣ ✔️I lifted with @redken Flashlift/Bonder Inside, Pro Cooler, @brazilianbondbuilder and 20 vol. She got to whiiiiite without needing to tone at all. (You’ll see in the video 🤘🏼).⁣ ✔️I applied Shades EQ 010VV...that is the root area, shaved undercut and the remaining blonde pieces you see throughout. ⁣ This is actually a good visual representation of how this particular shade will appear on varying levels/tones of blonde. ⁣ 💡Where it looks more violet (because it definitely has a HEAVY violet dye-load, even for a level 10...hence the ‘VV’) that hair was a level ELEVEN, whiiiiite... so it picked up a lot of the violet pigment. ⁣ 💡The same tone was used on the little blonde pieces you see throughout and it looks more violet at the regrowth area but more of a true ‘platinum’ on the ends. ⁣ 💡That’s because her regrowth area was that same level 11/white as the shaved sides and her ends had some warmth remaining. ⁣ Can you guys see the difference the same shade makes on different levels/tones of blonde? ⁣ Moving on...⁣ ✔️I mixed several bowls of peach, mauve, rust, mustard shades using City Beats...then I added little dots of @trilliontones brown to each to make them more muted. I applied in a free-form, artistic weirdo manner (to be illustrated in the video) and moved on the the cut/style.⁣ ✔️ I used a razor and thinning shears to shape up her undercut and disconnected pixie.
