𝔸𝕦𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕣 𝕊𝕡𝕠𝕥𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥- Have you attended an author event recently? Who was it for? I haven't gone to an author event for a LONG time but every month I feature an author and their recent release on my blog in a three post series. For the month of July, I'm featuring Erica Waters and her latest release The River Has Teeth. Head on over to the blog to check out the exclusive Q&A and find the SYNOPSIS of her debut novel Ghost Wood Song below! SYNOPSIS If I could have a fiddle made of Daddy’s bones, I’d play it. I’d learn all the secrets he kept. Shady Grove inherited her father’s ability to call ghosts from the grave with his fiddle, but she also knows the fiddle’s tunes bring nothing but trouble and darkness. But when her brother is accused of murder, she can’t let the dead keep their secrets. In order to clear his name, she’s going to have to make those ghosts sing. Family secrets, a gorgeously resonant LGBTQ love triangle, and just the right amount of creepiness make this young adult debut a haunting and hopeful story about facing everything that haunts us in the dark. #authorinterview #authorqanda #authorspotlight #ericawaters #theriverhasteeth #ghostwoodsong #creepysetting https://www.instagram.com/p/CRvWXixrJeS/?utm_medium=tumblr

𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕕 ℝ𝕖𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤-- Have you ever lived in or visited a supposedly haunted place? The first apartment we ever lived in had a pentagram on the back of the door that had been painted over. As atheists, my husband and I joked about it and how creepy it was. My skepticism about the reality of hauntings does not preclude me from enjoy books featuring hauntings and haunted places. Today on the blog I'm kicking off my three post series featuring @ericawatersbooks and her sophomore novel: The River Has Teeth with readalikes for the book The River Has Teeth is infused with a creepiness around the woods and marsh where the story is set.
