ARYA MYERS INFODUMP

- Arya is the self proclaimed "Proxy Hunter" of the woods (though her opinion on the title changes constantly)

- She doesn't like the proxies at all. In fact its her personal mission to hunt down and kill as many of them as she can before Slender finally lets her bite it

- To give her credit she has a good few "successes " under her belt. When she said she'd break Slenders toys she damn well meant it

- She's constantly on the move. Staying in one spot for too long stresses her out and makes her think she's about to be found and so she frequently bounces between a handful of "safe spots" she's found around the woods

- Stumbling across the woods in a tired, defensive haze with her shovel drawing a line in the dirt behind her is practically her most common state

- It's like she's asking to be targeted, just begging for a fight. And to be fair, she is

- Because she's quickly on offensive the minute she spots someone else. Whether they're proxy or another lost person wandering doesn't matter because before she can even tell she's behind them, bringing her shovel down on their head with as much strength as she can muster

- Provided she wasn't spotted beforehand, if she was so lucky for once

- And then she needs a minute to keep herself from vomiting at the blood and brains that splattered all over her shovel and arms

- Whether or not they really were innocent doesn't matter, she couldn't tell the difference anymore even if she wanted to. She can't risk leaving one of them alive.

- If they have something she deems useful, she'll take it. If not, she's already walking away again. Can't risk another possibly turning up while her strengths been spent

- More often than not, she's not actually lucky enough to catch a person off guard. They'll know she's coming, if not from her heavy footsteps then from the sound of her shovel dragging across the ground

- She won't even try going for a sneak attack most times, instead choosing to rush them

- She's a surprisingly heavy hitter. She knows she has to make every hit count in a fight, if not because her opponent is usually stronger than her then because her POTS won't let her stay on her feet for long, so she'll always aim to take them out in as few hits as possible

- If that doesn't work or isn't an option, she'll switch to using more defensive tactics like blocking and dodging while trying to find a way out of the conflict entirely

- She has pretty quick reflexes and can think fast enough on her feet to defend herself, but she'l prone to slipping up if she gets carried away

- One of the things she's grown to hate most about herself is the way she gets carried away during fights. Taunting her opponent, throwing insults, aiming lethal blows with a grin on her face and bursting out into cathartic laughter when it lands and they go down. Even the blood stops bothering her as her anger clouds her head

- She tells herself its all self defence, that its them or her and that she's not a monster yet, but those moments of manic glee really do make her feel like she's past the point of no return

- She is in no way above using "cheap/dirty" tactics if it means getting the upper hand against someone.

- Don't let her confidence and willingness fool you, she stumbles her way through every fight she's in. If not for her shovel she'd probably lose immediately

- Despite having lived with it the majority of her life, she has a bad habit of forgetting she has POTS and will frequently overexert herself only to quickly end up on her ass

- The scars on her arms are all self defence scars from times when she'd gotten desperate and blocked attacks using her arms, apart from a large one on her right arm from a nasty break she had as a kid

- Oppositely, the scars that little her knees and skins are accidental and caused by her tripping and falling 90% of the time

- She's always bleeding in one way or another, if not because of Slender then because she's constantly reopening the gash on her face instead

- The gash on her face was caused by a blow to the mouth during her first altercation with one of Slenders proxies. It was originally just a small chunk taken from her top lip, but its reopened so many times since then that it now stretches all the way along her cheek and cuts into her bottom eyelid

- Give it roughly another year or so and she'd probably end up with a gash that rivals Toby's

- Its kinda like how the wound on her stomach keeps on reopening, but rather than it being due to Slenders meddling its just because she's a dumbass

- Ironically enough she has an intense phobia of blood. It makes her nauseous.

- Ever heard British insults given in a southern accent? Would you like to?

- Her father is British and moved to the states not long before her older sister was born, so Arya's picked up a lot of British slang from him without realising it

- As if she needed any more reasons to be getting funny looks

- Speaking of voice, this girl is loud. Literally, her volume is set permanently to 11. Nine times out of ten she won't actually realise how loud she's being, but she absolutely does it on purpose sometimes

- She's a very brash and obnoxious person at times

- She is painfully honest, no matter who it is she's talking to or whether its appropriate. She doesn't like you? She'll let you know

- She despises being underestimated or looked down on. She grew up with her dad treating her like glass because she's ill, overprotective and overbearing despite her proving time and time again that she's capable of being independent.

- So god help anyone who tries talking down to her because she is far past the point of putting up with it

- Somewhere along the line this hatred also developed into a hatred of being worried about. Concern feels condescending to her so she'll hide any problem she has behind jokes and humour.

- Especially if that problem is medically related, she would rather try sprinting on a broken leg than be looked at by a doctor

I could honestly write way more but this is getting long, i'll save the rest for another post. That one will probably be more personality related (so stick around if you're interested i guess?)

finally finished making the reference sheets for my ocs and can actually post about them without it feeling completely random

so yh anyways say hello to Arya Myers!!

Brief mentions of gore and violence and generally darker topics, yknow, the typical Slenderverse/Creepypasta stuff. Don't wanna go too in-depth because I am working on writing her actual story (slowly but surely pls bear with me) but im also highly impatient so yh here we are

She grew up in a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina named Briarwood with her father and older sister, moving away for college but still travelling back during summer break to visit. A couple weeks into this visit she manages to get herself lost in the woods on the edge of town after a weird encounter with a person in a mask ends with her chasing them into the woods

Unluckily for her, the masked individual she chased was a proxy, and those woods end up being the woods Slenderman resides in. And he does not appreciate intruders

From that point on, Arya is trapped within the woods, unable to leave as Slender makes a point to slowly hunt and torment her. She's forced to wander the disorienting and seemingly unending woods, unable to rest or take shelter as the threat of being caught constantly hangs over her. The slender sickness mixed with her already poor health is hard enough to deal with on its own, but the situation is made ten times worse when she started being targeted and stalked by one of Slenders proxies.

Long story short, her mental state is undoubtedly shattered, and while her primary goal is to find a way to escape the prison that is Slenders woods, she also decides that for as long as she's trapped within that prison she's going to cause as much harm to Slenderman as she can, starting with hunting down as many of his proxies as possible

Overall she's a very sociable and hyper person. She's talkative and energetic and (despite the fact she sucks at socialised) can be pretty easy to get along with, though being trapped and in survival mode for so long has forced her to develop more aggressive behaviour in order to survive. She was already recklessly impulsive and headstrong to begin with, but now it's escalated to an extreme degree with her behaviour being a lot more intense and violent.

man it is really hard to summarise her background without info dumping a bunch of details and spoilers but there is so much more to her character and story that I can't wait to eventually share

Aryas wounds are a...complicated subject. Most heal fine, a little too fine all things considered, and will simply scar over. One of them, however...

...doesn't want to play nice.

The gash on Aryas stomach doesn't heal, ever. It gets close, it'll stop bleeding and scab over and sometimes it'll even look like it'll scar, but every single time it ends up reopening.

And she has to live with it. It won't kill her, Slender makes sure of that, so she's forced to live with this constantly painful, constantly gushing wound.

Somehow shes grown more used to the feeling of blood loss than she has the sight of it. Everything shes seen, and blood still makes her squeamish. She definitely regrets wearing white.

INTRO POST!!

Heya!! I'm Skyder, welcome to the mess I call my blog! I made this thing mostly as a way to ramble about my hyperfixations and OCs and to mayhaps share the things I make

I'm 18, very much an adult. I ask that we try keep things 16+

My pronouns are they/she, I use them interchangeably and you're free to do the same.

Currently I am extremely into Creepypasta and the Slenderverse, so the majority of my posts revolve around those. I'm a writer and artist in that order (and amateur at both) and I tend focus on horror, gore, and generally darker themes so if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff then please proceed with caution

Two have already managed to escape containment, those being Arya Myers and Bones, and others are likely to start making appearances as well down the line. OCs are easily my favourite part of fandom culture I love them dearly.

This is my first time interacting with fandom since I was around thirteen and I've never been the best at social interaction to begin with so I apologise if I come off a bit awkward or off at times
