i followed you bc of ur non shipping-centric theories (also when u first started posting abt creelarke i was there to witness it all and now you have me hooked!) !! but you were also rlly nice when it came to answering questions abt ur theories ! ur so cool for that thank u!
YESSS A CREEKLARKE VETERAN!!
and also 🥺💕 nonnie,,, i try my best to meet everyone in good faith when it comes to theory questions!! like i know i talk A Lot so a lot of it gets buried pretty quick, which means i can't expect everyone to read my mind for Deep Lore. there's no point in being mean unprompted <3

Haven't posted any creek finds in a while!
This round includes an old toy car, a cow tooth, partial rabbit skull, skunk femur, handle from an old toy gun, hag stones, an almost-whole old milk glass cold cream jar (would love to find a whole one of those down there sometime!), loads of bits of tumbled pottery, china, and glass, and some great fossils too!
And speaking of guns, I found this down there recently too—
It's an Edison Giocattoli toy gun. They were made in Italy and this one is likely from the 1980s or so.

Time for a new plate of creek treasures!
We've had a few little rains here recently, not enough to really make the creek flood much but still just enough to uncover a few new finds. Here we have a cow toe bone, a deer vertebrae, toy wheel, two-tone golf ball, a sweet little partial porcelain plate from an old doll's dish set (all that's left is the stem but it had a little flower painted in the middle—so cute!), hag stones, colorful bits of tumbled vintage glass, neck off an old soda bottle, some really nice chunky crinoids and other cool fossils, and...

...a couple pieces of uranium glass! Always love finding those! I think that is the first nugget of bonfire uranium glass I've found.

Here's a small selection of the latest creek finds! That monster flood a couple weeks ago changed the gravel bars a LOT and they are way bigger now which is fantastic for "treasure" hunting.
On this plate of finds we have: an opossum jawbone, couple of well-tumbled toy cars, lots of really nice crinoids and other fossils, a cute little ammonite-like bead, a piece of a really old plate with a gorgeous, colorful pattern and lots of other pretty bits of tumbled glass and pottery, and another special secret find...

A lovely piece of uranium glass!
And it was too big for the plate but I also spotted this beauty peeking out of the gravel. Neat little shed antler!

Here are a few recent creek finds!
A hand from an old bisque porcelain doll, a gorgeous crinoid calyx (that flower-like fossil with a hole in the middle towards the lower left), a nice chunky cow tooth, a big old Boy Howdy fishing lure that lost its head and hooks, lots of lovely hag stones, some really nice fossils, and loads of pretty bits of tumbled glass and pottery.
I thought this little pottery sherd had a lion on it when I first found it but after looking at it a bit closer I realized it was a unicorn!

I did a little research and tracked down what it most likely came from. It looks like a good match for a piece of James Edwards & Son stone china from the mid 1800s. They had very similar maker's marks on them — here's one of the examples I found. Super neat little find! I wish he still had his head but headless unicorns are still cool too <3

Here’s a new collection of some recent creek finds!
There’s an adorably tiny little porcelain lid from an early 1900s doll’s dish set, a clock from an old figurine, a rock with a shockingly perfect “2” on it (I thought it was a piece of pottery at first because of that, haha), some pieces of tumbled glass with lovely patterns and lettering on them including that one piece with a beautiful cursive script “D” debossed on it, a plastic man, some pretty bits of bonfire glass including that little ruby red piece, a chunk of an old aqua and green cat’s eye marble, loads of awesome fossils, and more!

We're finally getting some decent rains again so the creek has started flooding a bit more. It's always so exciting to see what will be uncovered each time! And we got another special secret find—

Neat little old milk glass salt shaker I found in the creek yesterday. Only the edge of the base was sticking up out of the gravel and I figured it was just another tumbled fragment. It's in shockingly good shape considering it's been rolling around in all those rocks for who knows how long—just has a few minor chips on the base.
Also picked up a grocery bag full of trash. I adore this creek and helping to clean it up a bit always feels like the least I can do to show my appreciation for all the cool treasures it's washed in over the years <3
