Virgil smiled, shaking his head. “We’re not -”

Before he could finish his sentence, the old woman had walked off, continuing to feed the birds.

Pat tugged on his hand. “Vee, let’s go!”

The two of them headed back to their apartment. Patton unlocked the door, allowing Virgil to take the groceries off his arm. Virgil put them on the counter and began unbagging them, which allowed Patton to put them away in their proper places.

“Why do so many people think we’re together?” Virgil ranted as he unpacked.

“V -”

“It’s not like we’ve ever kis- okay there was that one time at a party, but that was spin the bottle.”

“Vir-”

“And yeah, we cuddle, but people need that sort of thing, according to Logan.”

“Virge -”

“And we’re roommates - oh my god.” Virgil nearly dropped the eggs in his hands. “Oh my god, are we - have we -”

Patton crossed the kitchen, taking the eggs out of Virgil’s trembling hands and putting them on the counter. “I thought we were taking things slow.”

“You thought we were dating too?”

A tiny giggle fell from Patton’s lips. “Would dating be so bad?”

“No, actually I’ve loved you for years, but knowing that we were dating would’ve been nice.” As soon as the words were out in the air, Virgil slapped a hand over his mouth and blushed a deep red.

“How about we make today official then?” Patton tilted his head. “Be my boyfriend?”

Virgil nodded, removing his hand and leaning forward. “Shall we seal the deal?”

“Absolutely.”

8) Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it - Ooh okay, I love writing dialogue, so it was hard to pick a favorite! Here's this one though, from chapter 3 of Coming Home:

Virgil tried to argue but was cut off by Logan.

"Virgil Leon Grey, don't you dare. I know dysphoria can be difficult to deal with, but it shouldn't be at the expense of your health. You are going to do as I say, and you are not going to argue about it. You think you're stubborn? You've got nothing on me."

I just love this, the emotion behind it. Logan really cares about Virgil and his well-being.

10) Which fic has been the easiest to write? - I would definitely have to say Workaholic. It had started out as a vent fic, and I wrote the bulk of chapter 1 in the span of a couple hours? The words just flowed out. People liked it so much that I ended up writing a second and third chapter for it as well! That part surprised me, but I was so glad it was well received!

AIR-BENDERS ROMAN AND REMUS, which are free and with their head above the clouds, they’ve grown around laughs and stories, and they may not seem like your usual air-benders, but, they both know when things get serious (and try to avoid them) (also, I know they’re both the characters that have canonically fought or used violence, but- yeah, there’s no but)

aw hell yeah that’d be pretty cool! tho if we want to get into discussion territory i’d say that i feel like with them being creativity, air would be one of the elements where they can’t make anything. if we’re bending (hah) away from their quote unquote “canon” alignments” i’d say water or maybe even just nonbenders who are innovative like the inventor from the northern air temple or hiroshi sato were

When and where did all of them meet (in ur au)?

At different moments in different places :’) So, have a quick summary (although it got longer near the end)

Emile and Logan are cousins, so they knew each other like that.

Patton and Emile were neighbors as kids, and they became friends in primary school.

Patton and Logan met through Emile, and when they went to middle school together, they clicked and became really close.

Remy was Logan’s roommate in college, at first they did not get along, but after a while, they became really close. Really close. Patton was jealous.

Remy met Patton and Emile at some school break (since Patton and Emile are a year younger than Logan and Remy), because Logan brought them over at his place. It took a while for Patton to get along with Remy.

Virgil and Dee were childhood friends, but something happened and they stopped talking for a while.

Virgil and Roman met in middle school and couldn’t stand each other, although they ended up becomming best friends later (there’s a story there).

Dee and Roman met at the end of highschool, when Dee came back to see Virgil and apologised.

Dee met Remy at the Starbucks near their highschool during their last year there and then brought Virgil with him the next time he went because I have to show you the cute barista from Starbucks V! They brought Roman along after that, and kept coming back. Remy noticed them and started chatting with them when there weren’t too many customers.

Remy is the one who introduced the rest of their friends to the highschoolers. They kept mentionning the adorable students from the highschool nearby, and the gang just kinda... Decided to meet them. So they came to Remy’s workplace everytime they weren’t in class. And one day, welp. Boom, I guess.

16) How did you come up with the idea for The Mirror fics- where Royality is cursed and it’s all so angsty and everyone has cried because Roman has fucking cursed Patton and- I really want to punch Deceit in it?

That’s actually kind of a funny story, because I didn’t actually mean to create a whole new AU, ya know? 

I think it was... around last January? And I was scrolling through Youtube while probably procrastinating on an assignment. I ended up finding an old playlist I had made some years ago with some of my favorite covers of Vocaloid songs and decided to relisten to some of them.

I ended up with this specific cover stuck in my head for literal days, rewatching the video over and over bc I just liked it a lot. Then one day I found out there was actually another song connected to that storyline and after hearing it I jokingly thought to myself “wouldn’t it be funny if I made a Sanders Sides AU out of this?” -with no intention whatsoever of actually making it an AU, ya know?

As you can attest, my brain didn’t get the memo and that story was born -with an added happy ending because I’m not a monster riGHT VOCALOID??
