How should we deal with intrusions of fiction into life, now that we have seen the historical impact that this phenomenon can have? [...] Reflecting on these complex relationships between reader and story, fiction and life, can constitute a form of therapy against the sleep of reason, which generates monsters.

The Philosophy of Curiosity
The philosophy of curiosity explores the nature, origins, and implications of human curiosity, which drives individuals to seek knowledge, explore new experiences, and ask questions about the world around them. Curiosity has long been recognized as a fundamental aspect of human cognition and behavior, playing a central role in scientific inquiry, philosophical reflection, and everyday life. Here are some key aspects and theories within the philosophy of curiosity:
Epistemic Curiosity: Epistemic curiosity refers to the desire for knowledge and understanding, motivating individuals to seek information, explore new ideas, and engage in intellectual pursuits. Philosophers have debated the nature of epistemic curiosity, its origins in human cognition, and its role in shaping scientific progress and cultural development.
Aesthetic Curiosity: Aesthetic curiosity pertains to the exploration of beauty, art, and creativity, driving individuals to seek out new experiences, appreciate diverse forms of expression, and engage with works of literature, music, visual art, and other cultural artifacts. Aesthetic curiosity raises questions about the nature of artistic inspiration, cultural interpretation, and subjective experience.
Existential Curiosity: Existential curiosity concerns the exploration of existential questions about the nature of existence, meaning, and purpose, motivating individuals to reflect on their own lives, values, and beliefs. Existential curiosity encompasses inquiries into topics such as the nature of consciousness, the search for transcendence, and the quest for personal fulfillment.
Philosophical Curiosity: Philosophical curiosity involves the pursuit of philosophical inquiry, critical thinking, and self-reflection, prompting individuals to question assumptions, challenge conventional wisdom, and explore fundamental concepts such as truth, morality, justice, and reality. Philosophical curiosity underlies the practice of philosophy as a discipline and informs broader intellectual endeavors.
Ethical Curiosity: Ethical curiosity concerns the exploration of ethical questions and moral dilemmas, motivating individuals to consider the consequences of their actions, empathize with others, and strive for moral growth and development. Ethical curiosity raises questions about the nature of moral values, ethical principles, and the pursuit of the good life.
Cognitive Curiosity: Cognitive curiosity encompasses the exploration of cognitive processes, mental states, and psychological phenomena, driving individuals to understand how the mind works, how knowledge is acquired, and how beliefs are formed. Cognitive curiosity informs research in fields such as psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive science.
Cultural Curiosity: Cultural curiosity involves the exploration of diverse cultures, traditions, and worldviews, prompting individuals to learn about different societies, languages, and customs, and to appreciate the richness of human diversity. Cultural curiosity fosters intercultural understanding, global awareness, and cross-cultural communication.
Metacognitive Curiosity: Metacognitive curiosity pertains to the exploration of one's own cognitive processes and learning strategies, motivating individuals to reflect on their own thinking, monitor their own understanding, and adapt their learning strategies to achieve greater intellectual growth and self-improvement.
Overall, the philosophy of curiosity explores the multifaceted nature of human curiosity and its profound influence on knowledge, creativity, personal growth, and the human condition.

OOOOH I remember the reverse contact au!!! Love that one how is that doing????
But also curious about polar inquiry 👀
Ah yes the Reverse Contact AU! Glad you like it :D The au is still a WIP. I haven't added much. There are some notes I haven't shared yet. And I've had thought's about writing a full plot. But I've flat out felt so bad for the guys that are being treated like zoo animals. They get electric collars and restrained by pistons and can't communicate. And zoo staff nearly kills one of them from mishandling them and not being educated on their sensitivities to certain chemicals. And I thought of a situation where a member of the public does get into the enclosure of one of the bots. Cus guess what, people feel like they can be friends with the bots. And then BAM the bot gets shot by a lethal weapon for the person's safety. Someone is going to get seriously hurt. And I just can't decide which bot to write about for the life of me aaa. I've got a fun note about different zoo enclosures that are held to different standards. Soundwave is in one of the better enclosures with all of his cassettes. A company decision was made after the realisation that cassettes are good at using staff exits for escape and that escape efforts entirely stopped when around Soundwave. Which is cute. Still, I'm at a loss as to how to write the next part of the AU. ------------------------------------------------------- Then Polar Inquiry. A one shot fic that won't require as much thought as the other WIPs. A G1 story set in Jetfire's first episode appearance. Random polar scientist is dragged into the conflict and is picked up by a fascinated Jetfire. After calming the scientist down he takes them to the Decepticons. Jetfire feels conflicted by the way the Decepticons are acting. The scientist saw what was happening and decided to forgive Jetfire's decision to keep them in the cage. And has a one to one talk. Where the scientist mentions the times they picked up small animals. And the reason for wanting to be in the Arctic. Ends with the scientist witnessing Jetfire getting buried in ice because he just had to save the world.

Will you be doing Lords anytime soon?
Hi anon,
Yes, I'll indeed be getting to Lords eventually! Because of the way my brain is, I find it much easier and more beneficial for this hobbyist project of mine for me to hop around different Classpects at a time. I currently have the first 1-3 sections of various Classpects already written, and the Lord of Space is on this batch's list!
I don't have too many cooks in the kitchen. I'm just a man who has 100+ ovens all going at the same time!

Love Amidst Worm Transformation
In the realm of whimsical pondering, envision me transformed into a humble worm – a fanciful notion, perhaps deemed absurd. Allow me to refine my inquiry: Would your affection persist if I were no longer of utility, if I veered from vows and evolved into a stranger unforeseen?
Should the roles of wife and mother elude my grasp, if household duties and intimate connections were but distant echoes, would your love endure? Amidst the shifting sands of identity, would I remain recognizable to your heart, or would I dissolve into an unfamiliar entity?
Does your devotion transcend the deeds I perform? Statistics speak of spouses departing when faced with life's adversities; ominous odds paint a disheartening tableau. I pose a question, devoid of melodrama – if, in a twist of fate, I assumed the form of a worm, devoid of contributions, would love persist?
Picture a terrarium, a sanctuary of mulch within our intimate abode. Would you, with care, mist me like a delicate bloom, nurturing my existence? Or would I be cast onto the harsh pavement of indifference? Contemplating this fanciful transformation, I imagine crafting for you a miniature haven, a domicile of popsicle sticks – a whimsical offering from a humble worm to its cherished companion.

Questions: Artistic Explorations
Yesterday I worked on creating a method of exploring the emotional concepts (performatively) so that I could really tap into the richness that each one holds.
I really struggle to explore ideas physically, as in, I am guilty of constantly being stuck in my head. And I think I need to change that. So although I'm not just jumping into a room and improvising choreography using my lizard brain, I am well on my way to being able to explore these ideas using something other than my overly-critical brain.
The refined questions for exploration give me prompts to explore the dimensions of each emotional concept - how it sounds, moves, speaks, how it is embodied, stimulated and perceived etc.
I think I'll start by making a playlist for each concept using my Spotify account.

yes yes yes 💯💯💯
the worst advice I have ever received in my life hands down was in my late teens before going off to college, when I was told that there were “science people” and “arts people,” and that they generally didn’t overlap which is complete horseshit.
I had so much angst about which kind of person I was, changed my major a million times when I was in undergrad, fretted endlessly about my future and identity. skip forward, I’m now in the medical field, and also finding so much joy in launching myself back into art, which I neglected for too long. I’m having the time of my life exploring the digital medium and indulging my current hyperfixation (and along the way shedding some toxic shame over being “cringe” or “not normal about” the thing).
and you are so right, these things inform each other. being a better artist makes me a better scientist, and vice versa. neither have a monopoly on curiosity or creativity, nor intelligence/analytical thinking. they are not enemies, they are soul mates. and they r absolutely fucking on the couch
“the arts and sciences are completely separate fields that should be pitted against each other” the overlap of the arts and sciences make up our entire perceivable reality they r fucking on the couch

Implicit guidance and control (IGC) is a crucial component of the OODA loop process that often goes unnoticed. It refers to the subconscious processing and intuitive decision-making based on past experiences, cultural norms, and internalized knowledge. This hidden driver shapes individuals’ observations, orientation, decisions, and actions in complex environments.
The IGC process allows the brain to process vast amounts of information without conscious awareness, enabling rapid and effective decision-making. It draws upon previous experience and subconscious processing to guide real-time actions, especially in high-pressure situations. This aspect of the OODA loop is particularly important for experienced professionals, as it allows them to make quick and informed decisions based on their intuition and past experiences.

How does one upcycle a broom while contemplating the sweeping changes in life?
Life is a series of transitions, marked by moments of upheaval, growth, and transformation. In the midst of these sweeping changes, we often seek solace and reflection in the mundane rituals of daily life. One such ritual is the act of sweeping – a simple yet profound gesture that embodies the metaphorical journey of clearing away the old to make room for the new. This article explores how one…

I mean there’s gotta be a discord server out there for that?
Some days I feel like a maven of the internet and others I’m wondering if I can google “creative discord groups” with any success.
