THE JETSET LIFE IS GONNA KILL YOU, ERIC CARTER!
my laptop charger uhhhhhh. met its end in a very permanent, very fire hazardy kind of way last week. while waiting for a replacement I decided to try and get some work done at the library and was asking around for some urban fantasy (extra points for a mystery plot of some kind) recommendations to check out while I was there
the eric carter series was mentioned a couple of times, AND had the added bonus of having a necromancer for a main character. I love necromancers. someday I'm gonna play one in a game instead of immediately defaulting to vampires.

Hey!! I really enjoyed the other vampire prompt you did. If you get the opportunity I would love to see another vampire one, maybe having to do with the villain needing to feed off the hunter? But totally up to you and what you feel like writing. Hope you have a great day <3

tw: blood, depictions of violence, possessive themes
-
“You’re new.”
The hero whipped around to nothing, eyes scouring the line of trees and bushes surrounding the clearing. Their grip tightened on the leather handle of their dagger.
“Didn’t know you were keeping track,” the hero shot back, to the emptiness that they knew was far from empty.
A low chuckle echoed through the air. “I do my best to make sure there are no repeats."
Goosebumps skittered down the hero's skin as they swallowed hard, heart slamming against their rib cage.
Admittedly, they were new to the job. Prior, the hero had only heard stories of the vampires plaguing the forest, how their superhuman speed and strength allowed them to get in and out of houses without being noticed, but not before they got their hands—or rather, their teeth—on what was a growing number of victims.
Hunters in the hero's village were few because of the lack of proper training and the high fatality rate. But after they hero had found their family three months ago slumped against the wall of their home, pale and drained dry from their throats, they’d vowed to kill a vampire—or die trying.
Their feet scuffed into the grass beneath them as fresh adrenaline shot through them. “Show yourself, you fucking coward—,”
The hero barely registered the monochrome blur before they were suddenly seized from behind and held flush against a cold, hard body. They wrenched their arm around, stabbing their knife back in blind desperation, but an iron grip caught their wrist and deftly swiped the weapon from their hand.
The hero's stomach twisted violently. They kept their eyes trained towards the ground, as if not seeing the creature restraining them would make them go away.
“Mm, hello,” the villain said, lips brushing against the shell of the hero's ear. “You smell delicious.”
The hero shuddered, feeling their hands tremble at their sides.
“Let’s get a good look at you.” The villain pressed the point of the knife into the underside of the hero's chin, forcing them to tilt their head up and towards the molten gold eyes of their assailant.
Despite the nausea rolling through them, the hero couldn’t help but realize that the villain looked…human. Almost. Their features were humanoid, like their sleek black hair, strong facial structure, and porcelain skin. But there was something devastatingly, hauntingly beautiful about them that screamed danger and promised death—like the violent waves of a storm at sea, or a intensely feral wildfire.
The hero bit down hard on their lip. Maybe they were delirious with fear.
The villain cocked their head, snake-like and predatory. “You’re very young. How old are you?”
The hero, despite themselves, almost laughed. “Why does my age concern you?”
The villain shrugged. “I would feel a tiny bit bad that I have to kill a kid. If you are one.”
Oh. The laughter bubbling in the hero's throat immediately vanished. “I’m 22.”
“Oh, so you are new.” The villain grinned, flashing teeth. The hero's focus zoned in on the sharp canines decorating each side of the villain's mouth—canines that could very well be the ones that killed their family. Hot rage flashed through them, twisting their features into a fierce scowl.
The villain's smile only grew. The tip of the tongue flicked over their fangs, eyes flashing with a mocking, hungry tease.
Emphasis on the hungry.
Terror quickly replaced the hero's anger. They clenched their jaw. “Are you gonna kill me?”
The villain's brows raised, amused. “To be fair, you were gonna kill me. I mean, not that you could’ve, but it’s adorable that you thought it was possible.”
“That doesn’t answer my question.”
“Well,” the villain mused. They traced the dagger along the hero's jaw and up their cheek, watching as they squirmed. “I thought about it, but you’re a lot prettier than those old men they send after me.” They smirked. “And I have to say, I love a pretty present.”
The hero opened their mouth to say something—to plea, perhaps—but the villain suddenly dug the blade into their skin, making them squeak in surprise at the sting.
A streak of blood trickled down their face and down the side of their neck, like an arrow drawing itself straight towards a target’s bullseye. The hero was painfully aware of how the villain's eyes tracked the line of red, how their pupils dilated and their nostrils flared like a wild beast.
The villain leaned in and the hero couldn’t stop themselves from whimpering as they braced for teeth, for a flood of paralyzing venom and all-encompassing agony. But the villain instead ran their tongue up the stripe of blood, the sensation hot and greedy and everything unnatural.
“You taste divine,” the villain murmured, their tone uncomfortably reverent.
The hero squeezed their eyes shut, overwhelmed.“Please let me go,” they said hoarsely, knowing the attempt was futile.
“Oh, love.” The villain sighed, almost as if they were apologetic. “You know I can’t do that. But I’m not going to kill you, at least not yet.”
What? The hero’s eyes fluttered open. “Why?”
“You’re too precious to drink in one go.” The villain’s head tilted once more in that assessing, possessive way. “So I’m going to take you with me. Doesn’t that sound like fun?”
Dread curled up in the pit of the hero’s gut, dark and unrelenting. “I’d rather you just kill me now,” they whispered, once again knowing their plea was as useless as a shot in their dark.
The villain pressed their lips to the hero’s forehead in a fallacy of comfort, the gesture too claiming, too controlling for any room for relief.
“I’ll take good care of you.” The vampire’s arm around the hero’s waist tightened uncomfortably, like an iron seal on a deal. “Let’s go home, shall we?”
The hero let the tears fall before they were whisked away, trees and moonlight blurring together in the villain’s grasp.

The way so many men will turn the camera off right after they finish is so disrespectful actually sometimes they won't even be fully done shooting before they cut the video off...last 30 seconds of the video should always be for observing the splatter and drip pattern and slow softening of the wet dick like what about me what about my needs

Heyyy….so I’m back to posting arts momentarily I guess (not like I went anywhere though. Still spending my life staring at a iPad screen for nine hours straight….hate this routine I loosely call “living” so much hahahahaha chronically online potato sack. Not doing so hot I can’t even anymore!)
Anyways uh-so I have a lot of scraped things because I’m loosing energy to do creative works I can’t keep pushing myself. Kinda accepted that I’ve weighed myself down exhausted myself with all this pressure and I need to let go. But it’s hard and honestly the last thing I want is fatigue again. But guess it’s a cycle for a reason huh. Can’t fight it off, just stuck powerless and letting it happen begrudgingly
So I made this unfinished gif (you can tell because the hand is missing and the background looks unidentifiable. Plus cigarette smoke just gave up on existing wow so relatable). Honestly I kinda set myself up to get stuck on the process of this anyways since I don’t like animating on Procreate. The layering frames system is a pain to navigate. Only reason I wanted to animate Mr. Puzzles using Procreate is for some level of gained “experience” and added brush diversity for the glitch effect. But guess it wasn’t enough to keep my attention. Started it on August 5th, probably abandoned it two days later or so. I don’t know it feels like a long long time ago by now but that’s just because I’ve been overwhelmed mentally and can’t keep track of days passing bye

And this is the simplified version (aka what I started with originally as a drawn base messy sketchy illustration)

Nosleep author new to Tumblr --- Here to say hi!
It's great to see you here!
In case you're a stranger stumbling across this, I am an author on r/nosleep over on Reddit. I write first person POV dark fantasy/horror stories, mostly with a light touch. Topics include but are not limited to fairy-infested theme parks, frustrated dimension hoppers struggling with unemployment and women in wedding dresses roaming haunted forests. If any of that sounds interesting to you, feel free to check out my Reddit account. Or maybe you'd care to take a look at my subreddit, r/CrypticPark. As of now, the bulk of my work can be found there.
I suppose everyone who's following this blog knows me from Reddit. I plan to post my stories here as well as to r/nosleep. I find that the landscape on that subreddit has changed a lot lately, and not exactly in the best way. So maybe branching out will do me and my creative work some good. Let's see how it goes!
I gotta admit, I'm not at all used to how Tumblr works, so this post is as much as a greeting as it is me dipping my toes into what's sure to be a raging sea. Do folks even post texts like these here? Guess I'll see. Have mercy on me, is what I'm saying. I'm about as social media-savvy as your stereotypical granny. In fact, I am typing this with my screen dangerously close to my face, squinting at the keyboard like a vole. Still, I'll try my best to figure out this platform and make your stay on my blog as pleasant as I possibly can. I admittedly had fun playing with colors and fonts for my profile, so I hope there'll be good things to come.
Thanks for following my stories! Cheers

If I Were a Redhead: Embracing Passion and Individuality
Imagining myself as a redhead evokes a vivid tapestry of fiery passion, uniqueness, and strength. Red hair is often associated with a range of characteristics, from boldness and creativity to a spirited personality. As I explore the traits and qualities I would embody as a redhead, I find a celebration of individuality, confidence, and a zest for life that resonates deeply within me.
Tumblr media
Embodying Passion and Creativity
If I were a redhead, I would embrace a sense of passion that seems to characterize those with this striking hair color. The fiery hues of red are often linked to strong emotions, and I can envision myself channeling that fervor into my pursuits, relationships, and creativity. I would approach life with an intensity that fuels my ambitions and inspires those around me. Whether it's in my career, hobbies, or personal relationships, I would fully immerse myself in every experience, pouring my heart and soul into everything I do.
**Voice and Tone:** My voice would likely carry an enthusiastic and spirited quality, reflecting the passion I feel for life. In conversations, I would speak with an animated tone, using expressive gestures to emphasize my points. My laughter would be hearty and infectious, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages others to join in the joy. As a redhead, I would be the friend who isn't afraid to share my opinions and feelings openly, fostering a culture of authenticity among my peers.
Tumblr media
Celebrating Uniqueness and Individuality
Red hair is celebrated for its rarity and distinctiveness, and as a redhead, I would fully embrace my individuality. I would wear my unique hair color as a badge of honor, showcasing the beauty of being different. This sense of uniqueness would extend beyond my appearance; I would actively cultivate my interests, opinions, and hobbies, ensuring they reflect my true self.
**Fashion Choices:** My sense of style as a redhead would be bold and eclectic. I would gravitate towards colors that complement my hair, such as greens, blues, and rich earth tones, which would create a striking contrast. My wardrobe would include statement pieces that reflect my personality—vibrant patterns, artistic prints, and unconventional accessories. Fashion would be a form of self-expression, allowing me to showcase my creativity and confidence in my identity.
Tumblr media
Building Connections with Depth
If I were a redhead, the importance of building connections with depth and authenticity would be paramount. I would naturally attract people with my passionate personality and willingness to be open and vulnerable. My friendships would be characterized by meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and a deep understanding of one another. I would cherish the connections I form, nurturing them through love, kindness, and support.
**Social Dynamics:** In social situations, I would likely take on an engaging and charismatic role. I would thrive in groups, where my vibrant personality could shine. As a redhead, I might become the life of the party, using my enthusiasm to energize gatherings and create an atmosphere of fun. My ability to make others feel valued and included would draw people to me, allowing me to build a diverse circle of friends who share in the joy of life’s experiences.
Tumblr media
Conclusion: Celebrating the Redhead Identity
In conclusion, envisioning myself as a redhead invites a reflection on passion, individuality, and connection. The traits commonly associated with being a redhead—fervor, creativity, and authenticity—resonate with the person I aspire to be. This thought exercise allows me to acknowledge the beauty of embracing my true self while celebrating the uniqueness that each individual brings to the world.
Ultimately, whether I am a redhead, brunette, blonde, or any other hair color, it is vital to recognize and celebrate the multifaceted nature of identity. We all possess a range of qualities that transcend superficial labels, and it is this diversity that enriches our experiences and enhances our relationships.
So, if I were a redhead, I would not only embrace the characteristics associated with this identity but also honor the unique stories and narratives that each of us contributes to the beautiful tapestry of life. Each hair color represents a different facet of who we are, and celebrating those differences is a testament to the richness of human experience.
