Massive Attack stumbled and they had to do something about this fact, since they were quite good until that point. They decided to finally tackle a soundtrack challenge and … I am surprised I don't hear much of them there. True, Danny The Dog was perhaps not the correct movie for them to try their skills for movies. I mean, I could see them working perfectly with David Fincher and I hope they still will eventually, since their only attempt at a movie score at this point disappoints. There are moments, where you notice this is an LP of an outfit that defined the 90's, yet you also observe a strange set of problems they had back then and which they solved by calling back one of their collaborators, though we are not there yet.

Azra Bertrand, Womb Awakening
No importa si eres hombre o mujer es tiempo de conectar con la energía femenina y creativa que se encuentra en tí, solo tienes que conectar y agradecer.
Te comparto este mantra para conectar !

(Except point of surrender by rover city extension because that was not on Spotify but I did add it by Craig Pruess)
Omg, you’re so cute! Lol, that is awesome! I hope you enjoy them. I tried to put them in as much of a “chronological” order as possible to correlate with the chapters. Let me know what you think once you listen! :)

Back in March I contributed a digital image and a short piece of writing to Nehal Devi’s नमस्कार/Namaskār project- Añjali Mudrā and the Moon This, a personal ritual, began six years ago. When I am out at night and see the Moon, I quickly press my hands together palms touching and thumbs touching my chest (Namaste gesture). I direct my hands towards the Moon touching my thumbs to my forehead, my lips and my chest over my heart. All the while looking at the Moon and saying “Hello Mother. You look beautiful tonight. Thank you for all my blessings.” This, honoring and thanking of the Moon, has become a habit now. If in a crowd, I will say the words in my head, and I must be looking at the Moon (this can’t be stressed enough). The mudra and the expression of thanks and tribute can’t be neglected or the gulf created by the lack of ritual would weigh too heavily on me. I don’t know why this is or how it started.

Namaste!
“This photographic series (नमस्कार/Namaskār) sprouted spontaneously five years ago. Since then this form has been revealing its layered significance to me in my paintings, performances and daily interactions with life around me.
Namaste is usually spoken with a slight bow and hands pressed together, palms touching and fingers pointing upwards, thumbs close to the chest. This gesture is called Añjali Mudrā.
It is a sanskrit word and it means ‘I bow to the divine in you'”.

IMAGE: The EK, the AUM-kaar symbol, a kind of visual representation of the Mool Mantra of Guru Nanak.
Below is the Mool Mantra in English, also part of a mystic poem of Saint John of the Cross: the Dark Night of the Soul, a podcast featuring readings from the Sukhmani of Guru Arjan Dev, and a musical playlist of ambient music, Sikh music, and a hymn of Kabir, all material I'm using for an up-coming radio show on a community station here in Maine, a kind of Sunday morning satsang of the airwaves! Enjoy.
"...In the luck of night In secret places where no other spied I went without my sight Without a light to guide Except the heart that lit me from inside.
"It guided me and shone Surer than noonday sunlight over me, And led me to the one Whom only I could see Deep in a place where only we could be."

English text by Julie (Julie Redstone)
The Divine Mother is everywhere.
She is in everything.
She is the Divine Essence that lives within all beings.
Her domain is the field of life, for she gives
to all beings the sustenance that is needed for life.
Her beauty lives in the natural world,
and spans the universes in all their splendor.
She has been called by many names,
for all traditions recognize Her.
Into each consciousness the knowledge is given
of the sacredness of life.
This sacredness IS the Mother.
She is the holy generator of the physical world,
joined to the heart and soul of every living thing.
All of the Earth is one with Her.
All beings of the Earth owe their life to Her,
for she is the Mother of all, the One who bestows
all gifts of life.
Her gifts come to the deserving and to the
non-deserving alike, for the sun does not choose
upon whom to shine.
She is the source of Divine blessing, the part
of the Oneness that bestows the graces that fill life.
We have not seen Her because her being is
cloaked in silence.
She emerges now as part of the Oneness where
she has always resided, blessing all, giving to all.
All who bow before Her are sustained by the life
within them.
All who honor Her are sustained by life's gifts
both within themselves and beyond.
The purpose of existence is to join with Life that lives
in all dimensions and all realms of being.
It is the Mother that creates this evolving,
this unfolding journey,
for she is the fabric of Time itself,
the means by which all things grow.
She is the template for life that exists within Her --
the substance and form of all that shall ever come to be.
May all be blessed by the blessings of the
Divine Oneness.
