Miles: Well, this was wild. I’m glad to know how the items ended up in our home, but wow, the Ellingtons were a mess!
Dale: You can say that, sonny. Although, I suppose Vincent Ellington wouldn’t be the first nor the last man to resort to crafty means to keep the wife from getting the goods.
Wayne: Most of them just don’t commit crime to do so. Usually, they are smarter about prenups and stuff. But, I guess, he was really angry at Renee.
Noemi, meanwhile, is excitedly checking out Bernardo, who is just as taken with the girl and her colorful clothing.
Bernardo the Parrot: Pretty Girl!
Noemi: Oooh! He talks too! Dad, can we get a parrot?
Dale: We’ll see, dear. Just know, that you’ll be responsible for all parrot-related care. I’m sure Miles here can tell you how much time he spends on the bird each week. And then you have to clean the cage...
Noemi: I know, I know. Still, they are pretty cool.
Putting the bird back on his perch, she asks:
- Say, I wonder, what’s going to happen to Vincent now? I mean, technically, he did steal his own collection. But is it even considered a theft?
Wayne: Well, technically, he did call in a robbery. And notified the insurance company of such. But at the same time, like Noe said, he did steal from himself, which technically isn’t considered a theft. I think, once he gives back the insurance money to the company, he’ll only get a slap on the wrist, and maybe a fine. Although, I doubt Renee will let him off so easily.

Multicultural Children's Book Day, Part 2
New Post has been published on https://untoadoption.org/multicultural-childrens-book-day-part-2/
Multicultural Children's Book Day, Part 2
It’s here, it’s here! Multicultural Children’s Book Day is today!
I was grateful to participate in this movement again this year, as in past years. The mission behind the movement is to reflect a broader spectrum of cultures and heritages within the pages of children’s literature and libraries– something I can get on board with!
I already reviewed one great book for the event this year, but was gifted a second in exchange for my honest review…. Heung Bu and Nol Bu is F. B. Smit’s modernized retelling of a popular Korean folktale.
My son again loved the Asian characters in this book, as well as the Asian characters… that is, the writing. The story was penned in both English and Korean script! It follows two brothers and the choices they make that expose their varying heart conditions.
In addition to a timeless tale of morality that leaves young readers pondering principals of right versus wrong long after they close the spine, the vivid illustrations bring the pages to life with fun details throughout.
We loved this great book!
Multicultural Children’s Book Day 2019 (1/25/19) is in its 6th year and was founded by Valarie Budayr from Jump Into A Book and Mia Wenjen from PragmaticMom. Our mission is to raise awareness of the ongoing need to include kids’ books that celebrate diversity in homes and school bookshelves while also working diligently to get more of these types of books into the hands of young readers, parents, and educators.

Arsenal 0-3 Manchester City: Pep’s Army Humiliates The Gunners For The Second Time Running
Three goals for the second time against Arsenal saw a collective team effort from Manchester City help them to a majestic victory. The away side dominated in all departments and were on the front foot from the first whistle. Bernardo Silva, Leroy Sané, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Agüero, all tested veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech, who is still in search of his 200th clean sheet in the PL.
Second half was comparatively more relaxed in terms of the possession in the final third. However, Sergio Agüero did force a save from Cech. Otherwise, it was a comfortable victory for the runaway leaders, who are now 16 points clear at the summit. On the other side of the story, no Premier League team has lost more games in all competitions in 2018 than Arsenal.
Manchester City Player Ratings
Ederson: 9/10
Absolutely impeccable. He stopped an awkward Kompany own goal, made some fabulous saves throughout the game and stopped a penalty to keep his clean sheet intact.
Kyle Walker: 8.5/10
As neat and compact as ever. Kyle Walker supported the forward play, surged forward with conviction and managed to keep the Arsenal attack in control.
Nicholas Otamendi: 8/10
Like he has done all season, Otamendi allowed no space behind him. He was quite intelligent and well positioned always.
Vincent Kompany: 8/10
Was commanding at the back and well controlled. Kompany muscled his way through the Arsenal front line. He was rock solid.
Danilo: 8.5/10
Fantastic and alert, Danilo performed all his defensive duties almost perfectly. His block to deny Aaron Ramsey was heroic.
Ilkay Gundogan: 8.5/10
Very smart and applicative with the ball, whenever he was pressed down the by the Gunners. Also to add, some of his runs and interceptions were noteworthy. He did a marvellous job in Fernandinho’s absence.
Kevin De Bruyne: 8/10
His crossing, through balls and energy, proved to be vital. Not at his destructive best but even this was enough to beat the hapless Arsenal.
David Silva: 8.5/10
Played the penetrated passes, linked the play together and completed every move that he started off, the biggest example of that being his goal.
Bernardo Silva: 9.5/10
Stunning work rate to add to his phenomenal dribbling, craftiness and a wonderful finish.
Leroy Sané: 10/10
Sane was on fire. He bossed the left flank, gave Bellerin a nightmare and enjoyed 51 touches, 6 completed take-ons, one assist and a beautiful goal.
Sergio Agüero: 8/10
Found spaces in the opposition box, was too good for a defender’s liking and often skipped past them. His lay off to David Silva and his composure were both sweet and exquisite.
Substitutes
Oleksandr Zinchenko: 7/10
Went about his business decently, without much disturbance.
Yaya Toure: N/A
Came off the bench just to add some defensive cover.
Gabriel Jesus: N/A
Came on in the 87th minute.

Rule 1: Post the rules. Rule 2: Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then make 11 new ones. Rule 3: Tag 11 people and link them to your post. Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them.

1: any hobbies you consider out of the ordinary or uncommon?
Well, I guess music hunting is a hobby of mine. My friends always let me ‘shotgun’ in the passenger seat so I can hook my ipod to the radio because they admire my music collection.
2: your childhood obsessions?
It’s funny; now that I think about it, my child hood obsessions are still my hobbies lol I still collect yugioh cards, love pokemon and video games. I guess I still have some growing up to do! :p
3: have a collection of sorts?
I have a collection of hats; most of them i took from friends and the others I purchased myself.
4: what did you think of the last movie you saw in theaters? Sillent Hill: Revalations. I looooved it!!  Ever since I seen that movie, i got a random urge to play the video games! I’m starting to love thriller type things!
5: if you could travel the world with anyone (real, fictional, whatever), who would it be and why, and where would you go?  I’d like to travel with Pokemon (if that counts lol) around the world and face a vast variety of trainers! haha
6: if you had to live your life in some other time period, what would that be and why?
I’d like to go to the year 2100 just to see how much technology has evolved; if the world still exists by then! haha 7: how do you think you’d survive a zombie apocalypse? (youre lying if you claim to have neverthought about it at least once =3=)
It’d probably be like a resident evil movie but id just be running away most of the time unless i had a gun and a crap load of ammo. But nonetheless I’d probably end up either dead or zombified.
8: think of your otps. what’s one common reason as to why you ship them?
My Hinaru otp because I can relate to Hinata. Like Hinata; when it comes to someone I like, I can act very timid and shy and when she is around Naruto, In my head im like “GO GETCHO MAN HINATA!!!”
9: is there something you really want to be good at? more than good? like professional, experienced, skilled beyond all imagining?
I’d like to have a good skill in Graphic Design or art in general because its one of the things im passionate about.
10: what does it take for you to admire someone?
I just have a set of standards for people and if they meet them then It’s bound to happen that I’d admire them.
11: do you consider yourself an open-minded person? how so?
Yeah im very open minded and I like trying new things and open to new ideas.
Now my list of questions~
1. What is one thing you can admit your embarrassed about? 2. What is something you wish you could stop yourself from doing that you regret 3.  If you were the opposite sex for one day, what would you look like and what would you do? 4.  What would you do if you were stuck in the last video game you played? 5. If you were stuck in an anime with one other person, what anime and who would you choose to be stuck with? (real, fiction, non fiction) 6. If you had only a week to live, what would you do in those 7 days? 7, Would you sacrifice your youth for the power to slow down time to almost a halt why not? If so what would you do with that power? 8.  When where you embarrassed getting caught in the middle of something? 9. Assuming everyone has a price, what is yours? 10. How would you describe love? 11.What is one thing you tried for the first time for the last time?

crafty-bernardo replied to your post: Know what I can't stand
OMFG. I hate when people do that to me. And then when I scold them for not consulting me or tell them I don’t want to do it, they go, “You better take what you can get. Money is money!” And I’m just sitting there like…That’s not how it works. -__-
OMFG I KNOW. Be acting like I need to break my ass for a job. Look if I can't do it or if I DONT WANT TO DO IT, let it be. Shoulda fucking asked me 1st. This guy talkin about he heard I could do visual effects for a film. I'm like...wtf...I'm more of an illustrator. Just because I can draw a picture doesn't mean I can whip up After Effects and make explosions happen and further more I BARELY know the person who dropped my name to him like that! So he just goes " oh it's ok i need another illustrator anyway" Look man I don't want to work on your low/no budget film and I KNOW you're not  paying anyone and chances are you're not even going to do this thing or whatever. I've been around enough bullshitters to know when something is legit or not.

Multicultural Children's Book Day
New Post has been published on https://untoadoption.org/multicultural-childrens-book-day/
Multicultural Children's Book Day
Guess what day is right around the corner? Multicultural Children’s Book Day! I was thrilled to be selected to participate again this year, ever eager to expand our home library and our perspective via quality, diverse reading material from all corners of the globe.
This year I’m reviewing Bonnie West & Diane Carter’s new book, “Hideki and Kenji Save the Day.”  It’s a playful tale of two brothers who encounter a magical mystery and a new, special friend in their hometown in the countryside of Japan.
The story fascinated my son, who was sucked in by the whimsy and requested a second reading. He eagerly pointed out how the characters share his handsome Asian features. The illustrations are a lovely watercolor and each vivid page shows the text in both English and Kanji. This is a lovely tale ideal for inquisitive, thoughtful young readers.
Multicultural Children’s Book Day 2019 (1/25/19) is in its 6th year and was founded by Valarie Budayr from Jump Into A Book and Mia Wenjen from PragmaticMom.
