How does effort of a month looks like ♥️ . A traditional motif embroidered in fine Chikankari craft by women artisan whose soul is attached to it. 📸 Captured this in collaboration with @keyhole.photography We worked with male hands of my friend @chauhan1910 as we made this with what is available to us😅 📍GI craft of Lucknow 🤌Practised by the women artisans located near the banks of Gomti river. 1️⃣3️⃣ types of different stitches used from 32 stitches of Chikankari mainly stitches used are - murri - ghas patti - chain - ikhari bakhiya - hathkari - phanda - kut - bijli - hool - siddhaul jali I spent most of the time while this artwork was getting ready, and kept admiring the imagination of what its going to look like.
