Tray Makeover with Decoupage

This makeover was easy and fun – just the kinda projects, I enjoy.

The steps are super easy.

Decoupage is a very forgiving form of art. Alot of errors can be overlooked and ‘hidden’.

There’s something so soothing about shabby chic hence I’ve used pastel peach color. (Just cannot stand the wood color – but did not want to dump the tray either.)

By sheer stroke of luck, one of our whatsapp group friends mentioned, buying brush pen set for dhs 6.50 !!!!!!! Obviously i was skeptical but intrigued !! We decided to check out the place. If you dont live under a rock, then u know that the Gulf version of the american dollar store is Day to Day, which is dotted all around UAE !! With trends and mediums, changing so frequently, it does wisely to pick supplies, that your going to experiment with, economically - although its not always the case. We visited Day to Day Bur Dubai, and were pleasantly surprised by the arts and craft selection, they are carrying. Naturally my shopping haul is a dream today - for the price !!
