i respect the fuck out of sam reigel coming in with a new character during the back half of the campaign, where most of the existing characters already have pretty complex relationships with each other, and going “i’m going to flirt with ALL of them and disrupt that as much as i can”

Give me the Shadowgast screwball comedy crackfic about this one time it took Caleb and Essek combined 15 tries across 4 days to teleport to Aeor successfully. Make it include an escalating number of ridiculous hijinx along the way, like fleeing from Gelidon after appearing right in front of her and Essek’s attempt to teleport them away is when he turns into a fish and we get the amazing visual of Caleb fleeing from an enraged ancient white dragon in knee-deep snow trying to hang on to a salmon. I beg of you to make this a reality.

you know, it really does make perfect sense in retrospect why ludinus was not only okay with trent's volstrucker program, but also admitted to finding it useful for his own means. when imogen asked liliana how ruidusborn are awakened (exalted, presumably, for the purpose of being a potential vessel for predathos), liliana responded, "through turmoil. and training."

that's....not very different at all from how trent created the volstrucker. the only real difference is that ludinus' exalted ruidusborn are for an even worse, potentially world-ending purpose
