also, i just saw Lisseth Chavez on CPD, FINALLY, i am so happy i had to pause and make a post about it! ♥ my fave ace Spooner from Legends of Tomorrow, how i've missed her face ♥

Rewatching old episodes of Chicago PD, and one of the funniest things to ever happen on this show has got to be the undercover drug deal between Jay and Kevin and Vanessa (“Nina”) and her partner in 7x02. It’s just a bunch of cops pretending they’re drug dealers not realizing the other people are also cops…and then then they all pull their guns on each other yelling “Chicago PD!!!” It just gets me every time 😂😂😂

I just finished watching 7.02 of CPD and y'all... this episode was dope af!

First of all, mr. Kevin Atwater. My man is finally starting to get the recognition he deserves. I think in the unit he's the best at doing undercover work, idk, he always sounds legit and convincing. I feel like this season we're gonna get to know new layers of his persona and honestly I'm so excited.

Vanessa Rojas. The first two seconds I saw her I already felt in love with her. Heterosexuality who?! Besides her stunning appearance, she's a real badass, I definitely want to see more of her. And they said she's a rookie, so I wanna witness her development as a cop. Yup, yup, yup.

Kevin x Vanessa. I need somebody to coin a ship name for these two. Yeah, because in this house we do ship them. I mean, do y'all saw the way they were looking at each other when they were introducing themselves? Kev's eyes actually softened. I'm telling you, guys, he's whipped: sis already got him wrapped around her finger.

Adam Ruzek. I don't know if it's the beard, which makes him look like an adorable big bear, or the sad eyes, but I wanted to hug him soooo bad throughout the whole episode. He seemed so lost and I'm really glad he got his badge and pew pew back. I don't ever wanna see him cry again, it truly broke my heart.

Hank Voight. Hank is such a dad, omg, I love him. He's kinda giving Jay the cold shoulder because he's low-key hurt that he doesn't trust him (though I don't think it's that, they just don't always see things eye to eye), but they'll get through it (I hope..?). And what he did for Adam... man, I was smiling so hard my face hurt. When Ruzek told him "I owe you. I owe you everything" I was literally on the verge of tears. I love their relationship, you can clearly tell how much Hank cares about him.

Special mention to Platt because she's just adorable, also a mama Bear.

PS: The actor who played Darius is so good. The last speech he did really got me thinking.

PPS: I've watched two tv shows starring Paul Adelstein (Private Practice and Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce) and only now I've noticed he has blue-ish (?) eyes..? Mind: blown.

I have to say, the person who started the fire in the upcoming One Chicago crossover is really screwed because they’ve manage to piss off the CPD, CFD and Chicago Med all at once.

CPD 7x02 thoughts:

1. VANESSA DAMN ROJAS that’s literally it. her✨

2. Hailey Upton’s hair (she’s always gorgeous but damn she looks good)

3. Upstead before they started dating just hits different for me now. Like I’m sorry but how could you not see their chemistry?? They’re incredible

4. the scene where Vanessa’s unit rolls up to the drug buy and everyone is drawing their guns is better than I remembered😂 just pure chaos

5. Platt trying to keep Adam out of trouble UGH I LOVE THEM she just doesn’t want him in jail

6. This episode makes me so angry bc KEVIN AND VANESSA HAD SO MUCH WONDERFUL FLIRTY POTENTIAL 😩😩 from their first episode this kills me

7. Burgess, Upton, And Halstead all in the van✨✨✨

8. Kevin yelling VANESSA!!!😝
