I have random thoughts about the definitely real Johnny gets his own body and v gets to chill ending

I don't know how it would work but somehow johnny and v stay somewhat linked lol

It's either like

V, 200 miles away "you seeing this shit johnny?"

Or just

V sensing bad vibes from johnny from a mile away. Bro tosses him a pack of cigs before he even asks

Also I feel like they accidentally mimic each other a lot, especially v

It only makes sense, especially for V, right? If the chip gets removed, and Johnny gets his own body, they will still have remnants of each other's code in their system. Mostly V, though, and it would probably show the most through him

I feel like they would almost always have a link open anyways. After being in someone's head for so long, it only feels right to be connected in a similar way again. So of course they'd try their best.

Even without the link, data seems to bounce back and forth. It isn't coherent thoughts, but more concepts and vibes. V is 100% tossing Johnny cigs because he felt the wave of Bad Vibes, way before another needed to be said. And Johnny's doin something similar by just getting V a little treat (soda, ice cream, etc) before he can bitch about his day

AND MIMICKING EACH OTHER IM GONNA LOSE IT /positive

Ok I know v and johnny can't actually feel each other but I hc them both with chronic pain and they help each other out :)

Like in my head I'm imagining them sitting silently after a long day, and like habit just to break the silence just asks the other if they're sore and then massaging whatever is hurt (in my brain it's Johnny's arm for obvious reasons, and v's arms where he has the mantis claws (mantis claws my beloved) and his leg (this is definitely not just my v I'm describing))

But maybe I'm cringe fail and should simply get my eddies up and simply not be a gonk

In V's head, to me, it makes TOTAL sense that they can feel what the other feels. I don't remember what scene it is, but there's a part of the game where Johnny's reaction to a pain V feels from the relic. I mean, Johnny's taking over the body... He's bound to feel some pain

But YES

Them both with chronic pain. I'm thinking V's first originated as some trauma related disorder (PTSD, etc), then it got worse as he got involved in Night City chaos and was injured too many times to count 👀

I'm now thinking about V gently massaging around the tissue of Johnny's metal arm, that shoulder too damn tight from the weight of the metal. He can't do much about the arm pain, but he can soothe the surrounding muscle. (V caught him wincing when he went to move his arm at all)

And then Johnny returning the favor by setting up V's bed to work on whatever hurts. But he usually sees V pull his back, the arm he aims with, hurt his forearms, and hurt his leg. He says it's more time efficient to do it all at once (He likes when V falls asleep just by giving him comfort and the pleasure of not being heavily tense)

I find it very funny that during typing this I fucked up my arm. Me 🤝 V 🤝 Johnny: having chronic pain
