I hate it so much when characters in movies and games are like, "Waow can you believe this? This is so stupid. Just like a silly movie or something." I don't need the story to take itself seriously, but if not even the CHARACTERS do, then literally what's the point.
#was reminded of this coz in RE4 they snark about the gothic castle having contraptions and hidden shortcuts#and it made me so peeved coz it made me think of how marvel movies HATE for you to care about anything at all#they refuse to say the superhero names#and they put immigrant song in thor ragnarok when it was obviously supposed to be thunderstruck#coz I guess ACDC is too silly for the comic book movie for children
