Teen Wolf AU: Coydica

'I just wanna not eat lunch alone every day.'

The words sound almost trivial in retrospect, accepting a supernatural bite in exchange for the off chance of friends, but from the start Boyd has known its been about filling something deeper inside himself. The bite had punched his ticket toward freedom — Freedom from isolation, from a resonating guilt, and from an intangible longing that had wrapped itself around his heart like a vice grip. Boyd couldn't have known the dangers that this decision would bring alongside it — the repeated near misses with death, the gut wrenching fears, the pain and suffering it brought — but he knows he would choose the same path time and again because at the end of the day it led him to them. The bite gave Boyd more then a pack or a friendship, it gives him Erica and Cora. And every morning he has the peace of mind knowing when they wake up, they're all safe. He's never been alone since the bite and, he thinks, it's all been worth it.

Thunder terrifies Boyd. It always has. As a youngster Boyd would hide inside his closet, clinging to their equally terrified mutt, Mindy, until the storm had passed. Now though, there is no Mindy for him to cling to, no closet for him to hide in. Only his girls.

Cora and Erica surround either side of him, enveloping him in their arms. With them Boyd feels safe, he feels protected from the storm's vengeful rumble. Still, this protective circle doesn't keep him from waking in the night, from jumping out of his skin when lightning strikes nearby. But the girls do keep him grounded, keep Boyd connected to himself. With the girls at his sides Boyd feels secure, hidden away away from the storm by his princesses. He may not have Mindy anymore but he does have something significantly better. Erica and Cora; his two most treasured girls.

erica having a breakdown in the safe erica crying erica saying i've always wanted to go to prom and we won't make it erica leaving it at that boyd dancing with her cora cannot sing but she does anyway and even though erica is crying into boyd's shoulder and cora's voice is cracking more than a teenage boy going through puberty (partly bc she's sad and partly bc she really cant fucking sing) and boyd is trying to hold it together even though he can't really will himself to be sad abt death anymore it's perfect, it's theirs, and when cora is done they make her dance with them

cora has the song she sung stuck in her head for weeks and it's still there when she goes to south america. cora locks herself in her room, refusing to leave for anything but food or water or bathroom breaks and refusing most visitors, because she heard a pack member playing it on the drum and he wasn't even singing but she knows the beat by heart and all she could think of was boyd and erica and their heartbeats and it was nice at first, until she realized that her girlfriend and boyfriend were dead and their heartbeats weren't there anymore and so neither should the drumbeat that song should cease to exist now that boyd and erica are gone that song should have gone with them and she smashed the drum over his head (he's fine, she's been told)

word of allison reaches cora (because of course it does, of course nobody has the tact to keep it between friends and family) and she writes scott that, tells him that's she's sorry, and scott tells her that it's just more people to remember her and nobody's really dead until they're forgotten and that they should start a lonely hearts club. they skype every tuesday and thursday and talk on the phone at least 4/5 of the other days

Ok so this is important to me is Erica a Latina? Was it confirmed her character was meant to me one? I mean obviously her last name is Reyes and idk what Gage Golightlys ethnicity is but omg I love Latina!erica and need more of it!

No nonny it was never confirmed, we're talking about Jeff Davis here, who took three years to make it canon that Scott is Latino, and that was AFTER Posey arm-twisted him into it by declaring Scott Mexican in interviews.

But it doesn't matter because Jeff Davis is a false prophet, do not take his word as canon, for Erica is in South America with Cora and Boyd, exploring and adventuring and having the time of her life, and when she comes back to Beacon Hills she and Cora will talk shit about people in Spanish while Scott blushes prettily and Boyd laughs (◡‿◡✿)

Me sharing, and playing nice? I just cannot see it. I love having my boys to myself. Cora can go fuck herself in a corner. She barely knew my Boyd. Sure it may have been stupid for me to go up against Kali, but at least I actually fucking did something. I didn't have to wait for myself to be out of that hell hole, and have my big brother as backup to protect me. xoxo, Little She-Wolf

Teen Wolf Au Boyd, Erica and Cora became really closer on the three months spent in the bank, once safe Boyd and Erica decided to leave Becon Hills together and became a better running prey, in order to save their beloved one, for the Alpha pack chasing them. Although Cora didn’t agree with that stupid plan that would make them killed, they left; angry and worried she started looking for them with the help of Stiles and Peter. One day the research led to something. Something bad.

The plan worked. The Alpha pack found Erica and Boyd and decided, as a warning, to let Cora see the two dying wolves.

It would surprise people to know that it was actually Cora who first snuck Boyd into her and Erica's dorm room. He'd been intended as a surprise for Erica but the real surprise had been when they'd offered her to stay with them. Perhaps a little naive and a little curious Cora had chosen to stay; they all knew she'd never leave them.
