℧ meet cowgirl . . . she's straight out of one of cordell walker's dreams—or so he likes to say. truthfully, nobody knows how she came to fruition, but there's not one complaint on walker ranch. well, besides cordell missing his trusty black cowboy hat.

yeehaw, y'all ! . . . cordell searched everywhere for his hat, threatening to ground his kids if they had it. eventually, cordell's mother, abeline, found his hat. it's just that it was tilted slightly downwards on the head of an unfamiliar woman. she was dripped in black leather, red accents littering her form in different ways—and she was the new ranch hand.

rockstar, baby ! . . . cowgirl bonds with cordell's children, stella and august, over music. she's a lover of all kinds of genres, but she adores classic rock (and is an avid divorced dad music listener).

not just a ranch hand ! . . . cordell wasn't interested in cowgirl at first, fuming at every glimpse of her due to the fact she was wearing and reclaiming his cowboy hat as her own. when he wasn't busy on ranger business, he'd be on the ranch, secretly watching her work. he was pressured—or rather he'd say he was 'forced'—by his father, bonham, and younger brother, liam, into inviting her to go out for drinks at the side step. he was shocked to hear her agree, but it slowly turned into a hint of admiration as she was beaming a smile up at him through her lipstick-coated lips. when they went, he soon found out she was much more than what he thought she was, and he began to gravitate towards her more—and not just because he wanted to try and get his hat back.
