I have some thoughts related to the Golden Cheese Storyline. Heavy spoilers under the readmore, relating to both part 1 and 2 of the story:

I gotta say i love the interesting choice to try and paint Golden Cheese Cookie as greedy, before revealing the treasures she lost/covited/guarded were the lives of those she ruled over. Something that most people would see the exact opposite of greedy.

And how untill you see the end, they sort of subtly try to build Golden Cheese up as a tyrant. Or that her kingdom is cruel/greedy. We have notes about how they have so much wealth while many other villages are struggling just to survive. We learn the arena is a type of punishment/entertainment combination, and that the only cookie who battled in them was Smoked Cheese Cookie. The only cookie who actively spoke out against her or questioned her judgement.

And then you learn the truth. That this is a virtual world, consisting of those who were dying/died in the great war.

The mention of souls being part of her illusion makes me think that this is real in away. That she's trying to grant a comfortable life to her dying friends, or that this is actively a comforting/relaxing afterlife, rather then the characters just being based on how she remembers them/sees them.

It's still arguably 'greedy', but at the same time its really hard to consider that selfish.

This definitely makes dark enchantress a bit more of an actual threat. While theres been things like evacuations and destroyed villages before, this was an entire kingdom that was destroyed so casually. We don't even know if the other ancient heroes are aware that it was destroyed. Just that she became very secretive.

It's all really delightfully dark and I love it.

Here’s some more fandom theorising over mystery inc. so I’m definitely not gonna delve into every character of mystery inc bc that would be so looonnggggg BUTT can we all just take a moment (to those that have watched) to acknowledge the fact that the mystery gang has suffered immense trauma?

Like even wen I was younger I was always thinking of how the curse of crystal cove impacted the gang. To go from mystery crime solving on a daily, being hated by the town, dealing/defeating supernatural forces, watching their fellow crystal covites GET EATEN and being deceived by family to now go to a world full of sunshine and rainbows?

I don’t even want to imagine the amount of ptsd and other traumas they have to deal with together bc they can’t find help within this new world. Feeling even more alienated than before. Even tho they go on a road trip to solve mystery’s I can only imagine how lonely and isolated they feel without anyone to share their “past(?)” experience with.

Remember they literally lost their whole world, how would they even begin to cope?
